An old man is sitting on his porch, when suddenly someone drives up in a jeep, yelling, "Quick! Get into my jeep! The dam just burst and this whole place is going to be flooded!"
The old man says, "Naw, you just go on ahead. The good Lord will take care of me!"
The guy in the jeep zooms off. The water starts pouring in, and the old man has to move up to the second floor of his house. Someone paddles by his window in a canoe and says, "Quick! Get into my canoe! The water is going to keep rising!"
The old man says, "Naw, you just go on ahead. The good Lord will take care of me!"
The guy in the canoe paddles off.
The water keeps rising, and finally the old man is sitting on the top of his chimney, with the water lapping at his ankles. A helicopter flies overhead and lowers a rope ladder down. Someone in the helicopter says, "Quick! Climb up! The water's still rising!"
The old man says, "Naw, you just go on ahead. The good Lord will take care of me!"
The helicopter flies off. The water keeps rising. The old man drowns.
The old man finds himself before the Lord in Heaven. The old man says, "How could you let me drown! I trusted you!"
The Lord says, "Hey, I tried. I sent a jeep, a canoe, and a helicopter for you!

The Conjoined Twins And Mighty 'Men Of God’
......................................
When I heard of the conjoined twins at Komfo Anokye hospital I wished this was in the time of Jesus. Peter and Mark would rush to the great teacher and miracle worker screaming “Rabbi, Rabbi, you have to come quick, there are conjoined twins that need to be separated.” Jesus would rush to the home of the twins. The distraught mother of the twins would prostrate herself at the master’s feet crying uncontrollably. Jesus would walk to the bed and lay his hands on the babies. He would say a short prayer. Right before the eyes of the small crowd that had gathered, the tissues that joined the two babies would be heard separating. Not before long, it was done! The babies would be separated! The crowd would wonder and marvel and go away praising God.
Unfortunately, this is not the first century. Dr. Boateng Nimako and his team tried their very best at komfo Anokye, but the babies did not survive, probably because we do not have the medical equipment to keep them alive. Collectively, our heart is broken as a nation. Psychologically, we are defeated. We wanted to tell the world that our doctors are capable, that we have arrived, that we are not some banana republic. We wanted to celebrate with the parents and family of the babies. After the Black Stars painful elimination, this would have been a soothing balm to our bruised soul.
As a Christian, several questions come to my mind. Ghana has more prophets and pastors with big titles than any nation in the world, next to Nigeria. How come no prophet came forward to perform a miracle to separate the babies? My pastor says if you believe, you can perform miracles, just like Jesus did. Anytime there is a serious medical emergency like this one, our miracle-working pastors are nowhere to be found. Their best excuse is to ask us to pray for the doctors. They go back to performing their ‘miracles’ after it is all over.
The Yoruba prophet T. B. Joshua is known all over Africa through his Emmanuel TV, for performing “miracles” but when a case like this arises, he is missing in action, he is silent . There is a deafening silence among these prophets and pastors. Are their miracles only on TV? Where is Duncan-Williams and Mensah-Otabil? Where is Rev. Owusu-Bempah? Where are all the men of God?
Jesus performed many miracles. He fed 5,000 people with five loaves of bread. He spoke to a storm to calm down. He walked on water. He put back a soldier’s severed ear. How come no man of God is able to walk on water or calm the seas or put back an ear today? The only miracle these pastors perform is cast out demons. That’s it! They all claim to cast out demons- look for some psychologically disturbed individual and speak in tongues at them, sprinkle holy water on them and voila! You are a great prophet, a wondrous worker of miracles! Is it because this is one miracle everyone can fake? There is also the ubiquitous wheel chair miracle. There is never the healing of someone with withered and twisted legs. Always the person in a wheel chair forced to run across the stage. Can any of these men of God just perform some real miracle for once?
Are there miracles today? It would be great to see a man of God part the Volta into two like Moses did the Red Sea. What about a man of God command fire from heaven like Elijah? A really impressive one would be a man of God making a 90yr old woman have a baby like Abraham’s wife Sarah. God is the same, he does not change, as the Bible says, how come these miracles don’t happen through our so-called prophets today?
We are tired of the healing crusades where all these’ men of God’ do is pretend to cast out demons and make people with normal legs walk. If you note carefully, they never heal the people with twisted, broken legs. They all recycle the same old tired miracle tricks. These are not miracles, these are tricks to take money away from poor and sick people.
Our politicians, NDC or NPP, love these fake miracles because instead of us pressuring them for modern equipment and facilities at hospitals like Korle-Bu and Komfo Anokye, we put our hopes in miracles from the honey-coated lips of ‘men of God’. Instead of questioning the fat salaries of those in parliament, while our hospitals are death traps, we go to church and fast and pray and pay tithes and cower in the self-deluding belief that when there are conjoined twins, we can miraculously separate them in the name of Jesus.

Our condolences goes to the family of the twins.
I must say that, you have answered your own question. When you put the word, miracles in quotes “miracles”, you are in essence saying you do not belief in the miracles as real.
The fact is that a double minded person receives nothing from the Lord. And during the time of Christ he could not perform miracles in his own home town because of unbelief.
It was not because, God or Christ was not capable, but because the things of God, though, are free are not cheap. It has to be received with a desire and acknowledgment.
When you receive a prophet you receive his blessing, and this is a Biblical principle.
When Jesus Christ came to the scene, he made a reference to the unbelief of the Israelite, explaining why God sent the prophet(Elisha) to the widow in far distant land, to be received of her, and to be bless in return.
When your mind tells you that the miracles are not of God, or this is not a man of God, or the situation at hand cannot be handled, that is lack of Faith. Uncertainty is double mindedness, and we are all vulnerable to the doubts the enemy continues to sow in our minds.
As Christians we have to respect and acknowledge what God is doing through Ministries. Our prayers should be that everything that is not of God should not have its way in our Churches.
We are to pray for one another, avoid making a mockery of spiritual things, otherwise we play into the hands of the adversary.
In Nigeria, a man of God was pronounced dead, after an accident, and put in the mortuary, after injection. The corpse was made to be brought in a crusade which was going on, because according to the wife, it is a woman who first experienced the resurrection of Christ.
In her steadfastness and prayers to convince others for the husband to be brought to the crusade ground, God began doing something in the mortuary.
The summary of it was that, when she traveled to the mortuary, the attendants had made up their mind even to remove the corpse from the mortuary because of unusual songs (angelic) coming from the mortuary ever since the man was put there.
Well, the man came to life at the crusade ground. What a testimony!
When the Holy Spirit gives you a revelational knowledge about Christ in line with the situation you are going through, know for a certainty that your miracle is on the way.
We have to develop the kind of Faith that goes beyond looking at the situation with a physical eye. We need the eye of Faith.
Let me also advice that when you are in an environment where a man of God is dealing with an issue, support what he is doing by praying in the spirit. Do not be the spectator and questioning whether he would be able heal or not. It is not about him. It is about God who is at work, and and your prayer of support could be very beneficial. When you open up to the spirit, the Holy Ghost will drop a word in your spirit that could be be the pivot on which to pray concerning the situation.

Psalm 127:1 says that "Except the LORD build the house, they labor in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman wakes but in vain." Same is also said in 1 Corinthians 3:7 "So then neither is he that plants any thing, neither he that waters; but God that gives the increase." Indeed one can be as dilligent, but unless the Lord gives his blessings, nothing can be had from one's labour. Mr. Badu used the Bible to want to ridicule Rev. Admittedly one must work hard but we should not be hoodwinked into believing that it is only our sheer individual mights which make us what we are. Without divine interventions, forget it. I am sure that befre Mr. Badu does anything, he prays first, why does he do that?

Therefore you just proved that the bible is the most controversial book on the planet since the white man landed on African soil.
No wonder the white man exchanged the bible with our naturaland human(slaves) resources. That's how smart they are.Now we have oil but we don't have any brain to invent machines to extract it from Hell sorry underground.
So the white man can bring more religion to deaden our brain cells if we have any to exchange for oil.
Last some reverend doctor odifuo prophet said God just gave us oil in addition the the gold.Tell that lazy preacher that the oil was there since creation but our brain is still evolving into that of a human so waiting for the white man to dicover and extract it for us. First and foremost, I want to correct the erroneous impression that the Bible is controversial and even contradictory!
It is not at all! The issue has to do with man and his understanding of it, but not with God himself and his WORD.
The Scriptures is inspired by the Holy Ghost, and one needs the Holy Spirit to be guided in the understanding and application of its principles.
One has to balance the teaching of the Scriptures respecting the event at hand(situation), space(venue), and time(period).
This is evident from the very first verse of the Bible: In the beginning(time), God created(event) the Heavens and the Earth(space).
Since God is in the center of all these physical quantities which forms an integral part of his governance, it is very significant that we acknowledge his sovereignty as God and also understand that he relates and communicates to us through these physical quantities.
Since God is a Spirit(Holy), it means that we need to be spiritually awake in order to to relate to him, effectively.
The knowledge of God through his WORD(Christ) is very crucial in our relationship with him. The fear of God which is the beginning of wisdom should be the cornerstone in our walk with the Lord, and in our dealings with one another.
There is a divine WORD concerning every situation, and when it is uttered at the right time, place and circumstance, it can be very enriching and fulfilling.
When you do a bit of traveling you will realize that every Nation has her own visible blessings that the populace could be thankful about.
These are purely Micro and Macroecomic issues which cannot be divorced from the Socio political(governance) of the day.
Lately, many have experienced untold hardships in nations in various part of the continent, as well as parts in the middle East, all in the name of thirst for a change of governance.
Either way you look at it, these waive of events have brought about social decay to the extend that such nations are on their knees and almost ungovernable.
We are well informed that Satan(and for that matter, demons) deceives the entire inhabited earth. And since these wicked spirits cannot be seen with the naked eye, they have to perpetuate their diabolical activities, using human beings as instruments.
Each one of us is vulnerable, including believers(out of ignorance or negligent) in the WORD.
When we fuel insults on the presidency and those in authority, instead of praying for them we are doing the bidding of the enemy.
When we continue to show disrespect and insults to other tribes(neighbors) we play into the hands of the enemy.
Lack of love and disrespect for each other, goes a long way in inhibiting our God given potential to bring to bare.
The creator of the Universe has given us his manual(the Scriptures) that we live by its guiding principles. The Lord has assured us that challenges will be part and parcel of humanity, yet it is temporary, for the suffering in this world cannot be compared to the glory which is to be revealed.
We are encouraged to remind and admonish one another about this Truth. Our love and respect for the things of God should not be compromised or half hearted, or only with our lips. We have a responsibility to bring up the children in the fear of God and in obedience to Christ. We have a responsibility to care of the aged, the orphans and the physically challenged. We should shy away from such responsibilities because it has a miraculous blessings on a nation. This is loving our neighbors as ourselves.
The Old testament enumerates bountiful blessings that comes with obedience to God and his WORD. There are curses also that can befall individuals, families, communities and nations as a result of disobedience.
It is the responsibility of individuals, families, communities, countries to ensure that godly living is encouraged, abhorring promiscuity, aborting beings, adultery. Same sex unions should not be championed. There are nations that stands out, economically, blessed yet because of their coldness or indifference towards the WORD of God, the moral compromises has brought about a lot of misery and insecurity in the societies, even leading to suicidal activities.
Rev 3:16 put it this way.
So, because you are lukewarm--neither hot nor cold--I am about to spit you out of my mouth.
You say, 'I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.' But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked.
I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see.
The scriptures, is admonishing us not to pursue wealth at the expense of our spiritual growth, even as we strive for economic being. Thus, the Lord cannot be left out in the equation. All these matters if we have sought him first(Seeking God first, and his righteousness and all other things shall be added unto us)
In Rev 2:9
The Lord admonishes believers:
I know your afflictions and your poverty--yet you are rich! I know about the slander of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.
Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you life as your victor's crown (Rev 2 9,10).
The platform is laid for every nation to move forward. We should disabuse our minds of all adverse spiritual practices, discouraging idolatry and its rituals and sacrifices (Ex 23:13, 1st Corinth 10:20, 1st Chron 16:26, 2nd Chron 7:14).
Avoid Libation pouring (Read entire Jeremiah 44). All these inhibit the mindset of people, and infact puts them in bondage or captivity.
We should strive to be responsible towards God and to one another. We have to live up to accountability and justice. We should strive to device means of ensuring or aiming at equitable distribution of wealth through health, housing, educational etc insurance schemes. There should be purpose driven schemes to alleviate poverty and hardship, but rather brings security.
We must always, remember, that blessings goes with responsibility. And we have a responsibility towards God, as individuals. Let no one be deceived about this.
Let us pray for and encourage one another in acts of godliness and responsibly, for the Lord is all always watching and angels are keeping track of everything.
We should guide our tongues from speaking evil of others, but always looking for opportunities of encouraging and blessing others.

If you think the bible is the word of God then you should have your head examined. You have not learnt a single thing and you think with your emotion instead of your intellect which I don't believe is even awake in any Christians as they reside generally in the 3 lower chakras in the body. once your reasoning center awakes in the body you will intelligently assess what you read and you will see the lookholes which a lot of readers can see but you cannot. Go and reasearch how the bible was put together and you will know first hand that God does not tell different things to different people. it is all man-made. really sad, christians, get the book, "Gospel of jesus" by John Davidson and it will explain stuff you guys have toiled with for 2000 years preaching dogma. you cannot give any proof of what you preach because you are looking in the wrong place and also you do not have a LIVING MASTER because Jesus is no longer the light. "As long as I am in the world I am the light of the world. Buddha was the light 2600 years ago, Krishna maybe 4000 years ago, Jesus was 2000 years ago, Lao Tse was 6000 years ago. surely not today, There are a few CHRISTS around today, if you are ready, you will know rather that reading ink on a paper and telling people you know. You do not, you believe, there is a difference. What you don't know is that it is possible to visit the heavenly kingdoms within at will when you learn the technique from a LIVING MASTER. Luke 9:27 - Jesus told his disciples that some of you are standing here, you will not taste death and you will see the kingdom. Contemplate the statement. Those people he told are dead today but some did see the kingdom and It CAN BE entered today as well but you guys do not have the method and certainly your so called leaders or men of God have not even stilled their 3 minds to even awake their souls (God part of themselves) to be able to soul transport to these heavenly kingdom at will. Sad you guys have a lot to learn. you guys have all your passions intact like lusty pastors, greed, attachment to materialism and anger not forgetting ego and you say you are going to heaven. Are you guys going to be chasing wealth and using your anger there? Pity

I will like to challenge you in the name of Christ that I will read this your John Davidson stuff, and I pray that the Holy Spirit will bring to bare anything that is not of God.
My prayer is that you come to the knowledge of Christ, the Jesus Christ of the Bible, the one whom all the Prophets wrote about and this is one line of proof. The proof is superfluous. When people do not heed to the counsel of God through his word and instead follow the empty philosophies of men they are molesting themselves unconsciously.
It is not written that in the end times there will be false Christs.
Now Buddha was born around 560BC, during the time the OT writings were almost over except for one or two.
During the time the Prophet Daniel an co had made the God of Israel known to the kings of the East(Babylon, Medo Persia), I mean notably Nebuchannezzer, King Darius, the noble and influential men. Infact, they left a legacy, a legacy of the coming King whose star will one day rise, even as prophesied in the book of Numbers.
Christ is prophesied after the fall of man, the SEED refereed to by God. The SEES would have to come through the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
Ladies and gentlemen. Jesus who was in heaven was conceived of virgin by the power of the Holy Ghost and born as a Jew. Salvation is of the Jew, according to Jesus himself.
The evidence of Jesus throughout the passages of the scriptures is just superfluous.
The origin of Jesus is of old. He is not just a Prophet. He is the Son of God. He is the WORD of God. He came in the volume of the scriptures.
Jesus himself came to bear witness of the Truth. thus the scriptures(OT) is authentic. The New Testament is full of references and quotations from the OT that all these things that the Prophet wrote about Christ had come to pass.
Prior to his ascension, he asked the Father to glorify him with the glory that he had alongside with the Father.
Infact, it was by means of Jesus Christ that the universe came into existence, for through him all things were made.
In him (Christ) was Life and that Life was the Light of men. Yes, the knowledge of God has come so that we may dot be deceived or walk in darkness.
So the origin of Christ is not just 2000 years ago. He existed before the world. Infact the lamb of God was slain before the foundation of the world.
Christianity is a continuation of Judaism which is a continuation of how God dealt with the patriarchs which also is a continuation of the the dealings of God with the Adam.
All of these Patriarchs, Prophets, prophesied about Christ. What inspired Prophesying is to the bearing witness to Christ Jesus.
What it means is that, if there has been prophesy at any time, then it is due to the orchestration by the Holy Spirit to bear witness of Christ.
Yes, the Holy Spirit does not speak of himself, but bears record or testimony of who Christ is. He is the Spirit of Truth.
Jesus is the second Adam. It was of a necessity that Jesus comes down as man to offer himself as the real sacrifice on behalf of humanity, for it is through one man that sin and death came into this world, and it is through another man that Life Eternal comes into the world.
That is why the scriptures says when Jesus found himself in a fashion of a man he humbled himself, even unto the cross. He is the lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.
Ladies and gentlemen. We have an enemy who deceives the entire inhabited earth. Please, I encourage you to read the whole John 17 prior to ascension of Jesus Christ to heaven.
I encourage you to Fellowship with believers. Just take a step of Faith and go to Church. You can visit different Churches from time to time, and eventually the Holy Spirit would minister to you as to where you should be. Anytime you come across a religious material, challenge yourself, prayerfully, to verify things from the scriptures, because no one else is going to do it for you.
Any living Church will suffice, where Christ is preached in Holiness. The love and power of God will be evident in that kind of meeting.
Baptize, also by IMMERSION, to clear any doubt whatsoever.
Stay blessed.

Jesus Foretells the Coming Kingdom
By Wayne Jackson
Approximately six months before his crucifixion, and just a few days prior to his transfiguration, Christ prophesied regarding his impending kingdom. The prophecy is expressed in all three synoptic accounts.
Verily I say unto you, there are some of them that stand here, who shall in no wise taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom (Matthew 16:28).
Verily I say unto you, there are some here of them that stand by, who shall in no wise taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God come with power (Mark 9:1).
But I tell you of a truth, there are some of them that stand here, who shall in no wise taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God (Luke 9:27).
As the careful reader can observe, the language employed by the different authors varies slightly, yet the basic message remains consistent. In other words, though there is some supplementation, there is no conflict in content. As a matter of fact, the minute differences demonstrate the originality of the respective writers, rather than collusion.
This prophetic declaration has been called “one of the most puzzling statements in the Gospels.” Unfortunately, it is “puzzling” to many because they have preconceived concepts as to the New Testament use of the term “kingdom.” As one commentator confessed: “The verse is perfectly plain in itself, though it may be difficult to fit its teaching into our scheme of thought on the subject which it treats” (Clarke 1881, 125). Sadly, for many the exegetical format frequently is: “How do we make the Bible fit what we believe already?”
The Audience
It is important to consider to whom this announcement was made. Initially, a multitude gathered, including the Lord’s disciples (Mark 8:34), but apparently the Savior separated the disciples from the crowd (perhaps a short distance away) and gave them special instruction (Matthew 16:24; Luke 9:18).
Hiebert says the narrative “may well indicate a brief time break and [this prophecy] was probably uttered to the Twelve as a solemn conclusion to the preceding discussion after the multitude had dispersed” (1994, 241). This would seem to harmonize with the intensive training the Lord had been giving the disciples concerning “the kingdom of heaven” in the various parables he employed. See, for example, Matthew 13.
Various Theories
Several theories have been proposed as to the significance of “kingdom” in these respective texts.
Some contend the coming of the kingdom was “fulfilled” in the transfiguration event a week later (Evans 1990, 149).
Others allege that the terminal focus of the text was in the destruction of Jerusalem in A.D. 70 (Lenski 1964, 357).
Millennialists insist that the passage finds its fulfillment in the second coming of Christ and the establishment of an earthly theocratic regime at the commencement of the “Millennium” (Carson 1984, 382).
Others affirm the prophecy finds its most reasonable realization in the events of Pentecost with the establishment of Christ’s church and the commencement of his heavenly reign.
Let us reflect briefly upon each of these views.
The Transfiguration
There are several significant objections to the theory that proposes Christ’s prophecy was fulfilled by the transfiguration scene.
(1) There is nothing in the subsequent context that indicates the event on the mountain was a fulfillment of Jesus’ words of the previous week. On the mountain the Lord alluded to things yet to come, e.g., his impending death (Luke 9:31), but he did not refer to his prophecy regarding the coming kingdom.
(2) The disciples did not express their convictions (nor preach them) that the kingdom had arrived. In fact, they were still anticipating the kingdom at the time of the Savior’s ascension (Acts 1:6).
(3) The Lord’s language that “some shall not taste of death until they see the kingdom” strongly suggests a degree of chronological distance, not an event a mere six days hence.
(4) While the glory of Christ was manifest exceedingly in the transfiguration scene, there was no phenomenal demonstration of “power” on that occasion that resulted in a visual acknowledgement that the “kingdom” had arrived. Contrast this with the events of the day of Pentecost (Acts 2). Moreover, the language of these passages is much “too far-reaching to suit an event that three persons and no others witnessed” just six days later (Clarke 1881, 125). Moreover, there was hardly a “coming” in any legitimate sense of that term.
(5) Finally, as McGarvey observed with reference to Matthew 16:28, at the time of the transfiguration Jesus was not yet “in” his kingdom, as this text specifies he would be when the prophecy was realized (1875, 149).
The Destruction of Jerusalem
The view that Christ’s prediction reached its terminus with the destruction of the Jewish nation by the Romans in A.D. 70 has a number of supporters. Its seeming strength lies in the fact that there is similar terminology in Jesus’ teaching elsewhere regarding the A.D. 70 event (see Matthew 24; Luke 21). Its lack of credibility is seen in the fact that: (a) it fails to recognize that similar phraseology can have varying meanings in different contexts; and (b) this view contradicts the testimony of both the book of Acts and the Epistles that have the kingdom in existence thirty years prior to the destruction of Jerusalem. Let us reflect upon these two points.
(1) It is true that the destruction of Jerusalem was seen as a figurative “coming” of Christ (Matthew 10:23; 24:30, 33; Luke 21:27; see What Is The Meaning of Matthew 10:23?), i.e., a visitation of judgment upon the Hebrew nation. Such providential punitive “comings” were referenced commonly in the writings of the prophets (Isaiah 26:21; Micah 1:3; cf. Revelation 2:5, 16). This is an example of the figure of speech known as metonymy—one form of which is when a cause is put for its effect. In other words, God (the Cause) orchestrates the judgment, though seemingly by natural means—in this case the providential exercise of kingly authority (the effect). However, these indirect “visits” by the Lord are distinguished emphatically from the terminal event known as the “second” coming (cf. Hebrews 9:28).
On the other hand, Christ cautioned that should any false teacher attempt to proclaim his visible “coming” in connection with Jerusalem’s fall, the bogus prophet was to be ignored. This was because the second coming would be a universally visible event (Matthew 24:23-27), whereas the destruction of Jerusalem was but a local situation. Jerusalem’s fall would reflect only a “sign” of Christ’s providential “coming” in judgment upon the holy city (24:3, 29-31), not the actual personal coming.
In Luke 21:31, the coming “kingdom of God” clearly refers to the Lord’s exercise of regal judgment. The Greek word, basaleia (kingdom) “can be used abstractly to refer to royal power” (Mounce 2006, 380). That clearly is the significance of the expression in this passage. This is obvious since the “kingdom of God,” i.e., the regime consisting of the born-anew subjects of Christ, had been operative since Pentecost.
(2) As just noted, the book of Acts and the Epistles bear clear testimony to the fact that the kingdom of God existed before A.D. 70. Jesus, in anticipation of his coming reign, taught about the “born again” process by which one enters the kingdom (John 3:3-5). A conglomerate of evidence indicates that this sacred pattern of obedience was accessed by thousands; and through it men and woman entered the kingdom of God in the New Testament era (cf. Ephesians 5:26; Titus 3:5; 1 Corinthians 4:15; 1 Peter 1:22-23). This was decades before the destruction of Jerusalem.
Early Christian preachers proclaimed the kingdom of God (Acts 8:12; 19:8; 20:25; 28:23, 31). By the proclamation of the gospel, men and women were called to the kingdom (1 Thessalonians 2:12; 2 Thessalonians 2:14), and through obedience to the gospel they were translated into the sacred regime (Colossians 1:13). These devout Christians never dreamed the “kingdom” would not arrive until A.D. 70.
The Second Coming
But what should be said of the popular view that the Lord’s promise of the kingdom was to find its fulfillment at the time of his second coming? Of the various views discussed thus far, this one stretches the biblical language even more egregiously beyond reason.
(1) In his testimony six days before his transfiguration, Christ clearly stated that some of those who stood there would not die until the kingdom came. If that “coming” was the return of Christ at the end of time, the irresistible conclusion would be that some of those folks are living yet today. Skeptics, like Bertrand Russell, assumed that Jesus was referring to his second coming and so contended that the Lord was a false prophet! Millennialists, likewise drawing an erroneous conclusion regarding the coming of the kingdom, unintentionally thrust the Son of God into the same mold. Some advocates of millennialism feel the force of this difficulty and, like Carson (1984, 382), squirm mightily in attempting to deal with it.
(2) The “millennial” theory does not fit the Acts/Epistles data any more than the A.D. 70 concept does. In this inspired body of information the kingdom is an entity of regal citizens who live upon the earth now, but whose “citizenship” is heavenly in nature (Philippians 3:20). We are in the pre-second coming era. Christ is reigning now. He will not receive his kingdom at the time of his return; he will deliver it back to the Father on that occasion (1 Corinthians 15:24-25).
(3) When the Lord stated that some would not die until the kingdom arrived, he gave a measured determinative that at least marked out a limitation as to when the time of that event would be. If, however, he was speaking of his second coming, such was wholly at variance with his later affirmation that he did not know when the time of his return would be. “But of that day and hour knows no one, not even the angels of heaven, neither the Son, but the Father only” (Matthew 24:36).
Pentecost
The circumstances of the day of Pentecost (Acts 2) perfectly fit the details of Jesus’ prophecy concerning the coming kingdom. This is clear not only on the merits of the case, but by the process of elimination as well (as seen above). Consider the following facts.
(1) Both the Old and New Testaments teach that Christ was to receive his kingdom after he ascended to the Father (Acts 1:9-11). Daniel foretold that “one like unto a son of man” would come “even to the Ancient of Days” [God] and there he would be given “dominion, glory, and a kingdom” (Daniel 7:13-14). Similarly, Christ himself, in the parable of the pounds, spoke of a certain “nobleman” who journeyed “into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return” (Luke 19:11ff). The “nobleman” was Christ, the “far country” was heaven, and the nobleman’s “return” represented the second coming. The “kingdom” was received by the Lord in heaven—before the second coming, not on earth afterward.
(2) The collection of kingdom prophecies in the Gospel accounts all point to a regime that was not realized during the days of Jesus’ earthly ministry. And, as emphasized earlier, the information in Acts and the Epistles (as well as Revelation – 1:6, 9) show the kingdom to have been a present reality from Pentecost onward (with the exception of a few passages that represent “heaven” as the final dimension of the “kingdom”; cf. 2 Timothy 4:18; 2 Peter 1:11).
(3) Just prior to the prophecy of the coming kingdom, as reflected in the testimony of Matthew, Mark, and Luke, there was the exchange between Jesus and his disciples; then more specifically between Christ and Peter. The Lord made it clear that the “church” he was to build is the equivalent of the “kingdom.” In a symbolic sense, Peter used the “keys of the kingdom” (i.e., the authority resident in the gospel message) to admit sinners into the church by means of their obedience (Acts 2; 10).
(4) The Savior announced that the kingdom would arrive with “power” (Mark 9:1). The most natural interpretation of that phrase centers on the events of Pentecost. Just before his ascension back into heaven, the apostles questioned the Lord as to when the “kingdom” would be restored (likely reflecting a misconception on their part as to the nature of the regime); Jesus provided a general answer. The “when” of the coming kingdom would be when the power of the Holy Spirit descended upon these men “not many days hence” (Acts 1:5, 8). It is beyond doubt that this was fulfilled ten days later on Pentecost (Acts 2:1ff). “The coming ‘with power’ (Mark 9:1) and ‘seeing the kingdom’ (Luke 9:27) must focus on Pentecost” (Lewis 1976, 43). McGarvey wrote:
They saw the kingdom “come with power,” because such was the power of the Holy Spirit’s demonstrations through the apostles, that three thousand men were that day turned to the Lord. And they saw the Son of man coming in his kingdom, not literally, but by manifesting his invisible presence to the eye of faith. What they saw with their eyes and heard with their ears attested his presence in his kingdom (1875, 315).
As noted by McGarvey, there is no problem in Matthew’s statement that the disciples would “see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.” In his Gospel record John had quoted the Lord as indicating that by the sending of the Holy Spirit he, indirectly, would be coming (John 14:18). Thus, by “seeing” and “hearing” the effects of the Spirit’s empowerment on Pentecost (cf. Acts 2:33), the apostles were assured of the Lord’s presence. The term “see” frequently is employed of spiritual perception, rather than physical vision (cf. Matthew 24:30; John 3:3; 16:16, 19; especially see Thayer 1958, 451).
(5) As Jesus and his disciples were concluding the Passover supper, the Savior said: “I say unto you, I shall not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until the day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom” (Matthew 26:29). The “drinking,” of course, was not to be a literal drinking of the fruit of the vine, but a spiritual communion with Christians in the kingdom as they partake of the Lord’s supper. The language implies that Christ was not “in the kingdom” at that time. On the other hand, the disciples began partaking of “the breaking of bread” (i.e., the communion supper) on Pentecost (Acts 2:42), and continued thereafter (Acts 20:7; 1 Corinthians 10:16). Without a doubt, the kingdom had arrived!
(6) Some dispensational premillennialists contend that “because the Jews refused [Christ’s] person and work he postponed the establishment of his kingdom until the time of his return.” The church, supposedly unknown in the prophetic literature of the Old Testament, was set up as a sort of “interim measure” (Kevan 1960, 352). If the “kingdom” was postponed, it logically would follow that Christ’s “kingship” was postponed. Contrariwise, however, there is ample evidence of his coronation following the ascension, and of his current reign (Acts 2:30-36; 1 Corinthians 15:25; Ephesians 1:20-23; Hebrews 1:3; 1 Peter 3:22; Revelation 3:21).
Conclusion
All the evidence, therefore, indisputably points to the fact that the Lord’s prophecy regarding the coming kingdom, as set forth in Matthew 16:28, Mark 9:1, and Luke 9:27, came to fruition on the day of Pentecost, fifty days after the death of Christ.

WHERE IN THE BIBLE DOES IT SAY THAT THESE DEMONS HAVE USED HUMANS AS AGENTS TO DO HARM? PLEASE GIVE ME THE VERSE. IS IT YOUR OWN CONCLUSION OR YOUR OWN VERSION OF THE BIBLE?
THE BIBLE SAYS THE DEMONS WERE CAST DOUT FROM HEAVEN, BUT NOWHERE DOES IT SAY THESE DEMONS INHABIT HUMANS TO BE USED FOR EVIL.
DO YOU HAVE ANY EXAMPLE IN THE BIBLE OF A DMON THAT HAS INHABITED A HUMAN BEING TO BE USED FOR EVIL, TO HARM OTHERS?

Rev. You will agree with me that Satan used to be in heaven until he was cast down, together with other disobedient angels.
Infact, the Bible says Heaven should rejoice because the accuser of the brethren has been cast out from heaven.
However, woe unto those of us who are on earth for Satan has come down with great anger, knowing that his time is near.
Now the dominion of demons is in the heavenlies(part of heaven close to the earth). See Ephesians 6. Also you know the story in OT where a demon withstood an angel who was coming down with an answer to the Prophet Daniel.
The aim of Satan is to steal, kill and destroy.(John 10:10). Satan disguises, suggests and very cunning. Satan used the snake as a mouth piece to deceive Eve.
People who dabble in the occults, or especially in shrines commonly use snake as the object of worship.
Now, the works of Satan had been in existence, but the way to deal with them became evident in the NT, because the authority to deal with them had not yet come. That authority is vested in the name of Jesus Christ.
In the OT, God needed to preserve and protect the Children of Israel physically and Spiritually to ensure that prophecies concerning the coming Messiah comes to pass, among other things.
Now the enemies of Israel sometimes employ divination(EZEKIEL 21:21) orchestrated by the enemy. Actually Babylon means the gates of the gods, in the Arkadian language.
God had to call on the Prophet EZEKIEL and advise him on what to do, for the battle is of the Lord.
God did warn the children of Israel against all forms of spiritism, divinations, telepathy, necromancy, sorcery, prior to coming to the promised land.
God had earlier put to shame the gods of Egypt (See Ex). All these forms of idolatry are orchestrated by demons(Ex 23:13, 1st Corinth 10:20, 1st Chron 16:26).
When Jesus Christ began his Ministry, we see how demons manifested, because they were exposed. There are ample examples of demons using people to deceive. Fasting, prayers and Faith cum the grace of God are required in exposing demons and casting them out.
The apostles later understood that these things cannot be done away without fasting and prayers, when they went to Jesus and inquired about their inability to deal with a similar situations, earlier.
Demons would manifest when they are exposed by the power of the Holy Ghost.
Deliverance is an area which many ministries do not exercise. Discerning a spirit is one thing, and dealing with it is another.
The summary of it all is that the aim of Satan and the demons is to bring doubt concerning the WORD of God. And by so doing they make the individual impotent, spiritually, because the individual does not know his right.
Even when the enemy is exposed, the demon will put up a spiritual fight. You are to stand on the WORD, GRACE and the authority of the WORD.
Believers in Christ would like to believe that they cannot manifest, that is an erroneous impression. Infact, you may not know what you are carrying with you. If you are very honest with yourself you would agree that their very shameful sinful tendencies that you struggle with from time to time. Sin open doors for demons. The demons are like catalyst. They will help you do it the more.
There is what we call self deliverance, and it comes through discipline, fasting and waring through prayers. We are to resist the enemy and he will flee.
I must say that although Israel was warned against Idolatry, they found themselves influenced by the religions or spirit isms in their communities.
King Saul(disguised himself) and went to the witch of Endor, and just like today when people go through one challenge or the other they visit the Fetish where they are made to offer one kind of sacrifice or the other, 1st Corinth 10:20.
Those who dabble in spirit isms also see things in the spirit. Satan and demons counterfeit the things of God. Their tapping into the realm of the spirit is limited, though. It is only Christ who can set one free. When you associate with spiritisms no matter how it may be given publicity, you somehow open up to demonic influences that blinds you from coming to the knowledge of God.
When demons are subjected to the power of the Holy Spirit, that is when they manifest, otherwise in the natural they may be the people we always come in contact with.
When a demon is cast out after manifestations, the individual will deny having uttered certain diabolical words. This is because it is not him or her who was speaking but the enemy doing so through him or her. The individual is the victim. In the olden days people who manifested were easily branded as witches and set ablaze.
We need to come to a sound knowledge on this so that we do not brand people as witches. God can use us to save certain situations in our communities.
In conclusion, when you send a suspected witch(not actually witch) to a a Fetish, it is the Fetish who is actually dabbling in the craft of disobedience to God.
When we champion against sinful practices, it is not just because we want to infringe on the rights of people. We have a responsible as believers in Christ to influence societies. It does come easily, but there cannot be an acceleration without friction any translational motion.

MY QUESTION WAS VERY SIMPLE. WHERE IN THE BIBLE DOES IT SAY DEMONS POSSESS PEOPLE AND USE THE PEOPLE TO DO EVIL? YOU PROVIDED NO ANSWERS. RATHER YOU GAVE UR OWN FALSE INTERPRETATION OF SCRIPTURE. WHAT YOU WROTE IS OPINION, NOT BIBLICAL FACT.THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN OPINION AND FACT.
THAT THE DEVIL CAME TO KILL AND DESTROY DOES NOT MEAN DEMONS POSSESS EOPLE AND USE THESE PEOPLE TO DO EVIL. YOU ARE SAYING MALARIA IS CAUSED BY DEMONS BECAUSE SATAN CAME TO KILL AND DESTROY. THIS IS UNBIBLICAL.
THERE IS NOWHERE IN THE BIBLE WHERE PEOPLE WERE POSSESSED BY DEMONS AND USE TO HARM OTHERS. YOU CANNOT ADD TO THE BIBLE, YOU CANNOT RECONSTRUCT WHAT IS NOT IN THE BIBLE.
YES, SATAN IS EVIL, BUT WE CANNOT MAKE UP OUR OWN STORIES BASED ON OUR CULTURAL MYTHS AND OPINION TO EXPLAIN THE BIBLE.
WHEN WE FAIL TO CLEAN OUR ENVIRONMENT AND WE CONTRACT CHOLERA, WE CANNOT PUT THE BLAME ON SATAN AND DEMONS, BECAUSE SATAN CAME TO KILL AND DESTROY.
THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO EVIDENCE IN THE BIBLE THAT DEMONS POSSESS EOPLE AND USE THOSE PEOPLE TO HARM OTHERS. THERE IS NO EVIDENCE IN THE BIBLE THAT BATS AND OWLS ARE USED BY DEMONS TO DESTROY PEOPLE. THIS IS OPINION NOT SUPPORTED BY THE BIBLE.

Please, take time to check Bible references.
The Bible gives some examples of people possessed or influenced by demons. From these examples we can find some symptoms of demonic influence and gain insight as to how a demon possesses someone. Here are some of the biblical passages: Matthew 9:32-33; 12:22; 17:18; Mark 5:1-20; 7:26-30; Luke 4:33-36; Luke 22:3; Acts 16:16-18. In some of these passages, the demon possession causes physical ailments such as inability to speak, epileptic symptoms, blindness, etc. In other cases, it causes the individual to do evil, Judas being the main example. In Acts 16:16-18, the spirit apparently gives a slave girl some ability to know things beyond her own learning. The demon-possessed man of the Gadarenes, who was possessed by a multitude of demons (Legion), had superhuman strength and lived naked among the tombstones. King Saul, after rebelling against the LORD, was troubled by an evil spirit (1 Samuel 16:14-15; 18:10-11; 19:9-10) with the apparent effect of a depressed mood and an increased desire to kill David.
Thus, there is a wide variety of possible symptoms of demon possession, such as a physical impairment that cannot be attributed to an actual physiological problem, a personality change such as depression or aggression, supernatural strength, immodesty, antisocial behavior, and perhaps the ability to share information that one has no natural way of knowing. It is important to note that nearly all, if not all, of these characteristics may have other explanations, so it is important not to label every depressed person or epileptic individual as demon-possessed. On the other hand, Western cultures probably do not take satanic involvement in people’s lives seriously enough.
In addition to these physical or emotional distinctions, one can also look at spiritual attributes showing demonic influence. These may include a refusal to forgive (2 Corinthians 2:10-11) and the belief in and spread of false doctrine, especially concerning Jesus Christ and His atoning work (2 Corinthians 11:3-4, 13-15; 1 Timothy 4:1-5; 1 John 4:1-3).
Concerning the involvement of demons in the lives of Christians, the apostle Peter is an illustration of the fact that a believer can be influenced by the devil (Matthew 16:23). Some refer to Christians who are under a strong demonic influence as being “demonized,” but never is there an example in Scripture of a believer in Christ being possessed by a demon. Most theologians believe that a Christian cannot be possessed because he has the Holy Spirit abiding within (2 Corinthians 1:22; 5:5; 1 Corinthians 6:19), and the Spirit of God would not share residence with a demon. However, we have seen in deliverance ministries where people (including Christians) manifest. They claim to be Christians, alright yet they manifested. If the Church is just the usual going and coming, the demon can be lurking in the individual. However, when they have visited a Holy Ghost Church, or rather if a Deliverance minister visits the Church, we see things happening to the glory of God.
We are not told exactly how one opens himself up for possession. If Judas’ case is representative, he opened his heart to evil—in his case by his greed (John 12:6). So it may be possible that if one allows his heart to be ruled by some habitual sin, it becomes an invitation for a demon to enter. From missionaries’ experiences, demon possession also seems to be related to the worship of heathen idols and the possession of occult materials. Scripture repeatedly relates idol worship to the actual worship of demons (Leviticus 17:7; Deuteronomy 32:17; Psalm 106:37; 1 Corinthians 10:20), so it should not be surprising that involvement with idolatry could lead to demon possession. Actually, it is the case, for we hear people(actually the demons) speak diabolical things.
Based on the above scriptural passages and some of the experiences of missionaries, we can conclude that many people open their lives up to demon involvement through the embracing of some sin or through cultic involvement (either knowingly or unknowingly). Examples may include immorality, drug/alcohol abuse that alters one’s state of consciousness, rebellion, bitterness, and transcendental meditation.
There is an additional consideration. Satan and his evil host can do nothing the Lord does not allow them to do (Job 1-2). This being the case, Satan, thinking he is accomplishing his own purposes, is actually accomplishing God’s good purposes, as in the case of Judas’ betrayal.
The challenges we go through provokes us to pray the more, study the WORD the more. Our uncompromising steadfastness is an opportunity to testify of his goodness.
Some people develop an unhealthy fascination with the occult and demonic activity. This is unwise and unbiblical. If we pursue God, if we are clothing ourselves with His armor and relying upon His strength (Ephesians 6:10-18), we have nothing to fear from the evil ones, for God rules over all!

As we were going to the place of prayer, we were met by a slave girl who had a spirit of divination and brought her owners much gain by fortune-telling. She followed Paul and us, crying out, “These men are servants of the Most High God, who proclaim to you the way of salvation.” And this she kept doing for many days. Paul, having become greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit, “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.” And it came out that very hour.

It's you guys in Ghana who attribute every mishap or anomaly to witchcraft because you refuse to take personal responsibility for your misdeeds and indiscretions. For example alcohol addiction in Ghana is usually blamed on witchcraft. In the US people with alcohol or drug addiction usually go to the rehabilitation center to fight the addiction.Your bible tutorial will much benefit Rev Asante and your fellow so called pastors who are nothing but charlatans , the blind leading the blind.

What we have in the Bible, some of which can be found in the responses, are examples of demonic activities.
In all those cases, the demons put up a fight, by uttering diabolical words. The demons often present argument by explaining why the body (victim)is theirs. An idol once worshiped in the family,in ignorance, might have given the demons the legal right. It is up to the deliverance minister to exercise his authority in the name of Jesus to cast out the demon, and the demon has to submit and flee.
The demons utter diabolical acts or deeds, but it not important for all the utterances to presented in scriptures.
What is important is that the demons are cast out. The deliverance minister has to silence the demon and command it to come out.
I guess some of the utterances may seem fearful that when presented in the scriptures, plays into the hands of the enemy.
In other words, it does more harm than good to present the utterances of the demon in the Bible, prior to its being cast out.
In serious deliverance ministries, you will be shocked what demons utter, the deliverance minister has to be discerning to know when to command the demon to come out.
In any case, even if the individual claim to have been responsible for the death or sickness of another one, it is not the individual who is responsible. It is the demon in the human vehicle who is responsible. The individual is a victim. In ignorance people who manifest have been branded as witches. This is not the case,
and it is very sad.
When the demon is cast out, the individual comes to a realization of himself not knowing exactly what had happened.
He need to told that Jesus has set him free.
Demons will manifest only when they are exposed, otherwise they can remain comfortably in the individual as long as they are not disturbed.
Infact, there are individuals that may not feel comfortable attending deliverance ministries. It is not about them. The contrary spirits in them are the ones forbidding them to go to the arena of liberty, else they be exposed.
Jesus says a person who thinks is healthy does not need a physician.
Attending a deliverance is like going for a checkup, through, laboratory test. The test results may be fine. If not, your case could be looked into.
When you watch serious deliverance programs, you learn a lot. The most important thing is that the demon is cast out, as to the many diabolical utterances that the demons utter, it is of no importance that they are presented in the Bible, as the Holy Spirit deemed it fit when the the accounts were being recorded, under inspiration.
Let a deliverance minister be invited one day to your Church, and you will hear and see things that you have not experienced before.
You would have to muster courage to stand or behold the experiences. At the end of the day, your mind set would be changed. The Gospel would become alive to you, once more.
I will have to say that, not all Ministries exercise healing and deliverance. These are, however, signs which follow those that belief. It is not that God is not at work in Churches. It is because, Church is not alive as it is supposed to be, under the leadership and umbrella of people who have no clue and are not willing to open up to supernatural things of the Spirit.
So it is not all Churches that you can be given room or opportunity to exercise gifts that you desire.
The Church has to understand that, in the edification of the body of Christ, there are Pastors, Evangelist, Teachers, Apostles, Prophets, all with varying gifts.
Church denominations have to open up to men of God gifted in different areas to come and minster to the congregation, else people continue to be captive to their own denominational dogmas.
Serious Bible Teaching sessions, Fasting and Prayer sessions, Healing and Deliverance sessions should be encouraged in Ministries, from time to time.

I partly agree with you. The fact is that the community in which we were born or grown up in, shapes our thinking.
One may adhere to one belief or the other until the individual is challenged. I had to be challenged by the power of the Holy Ghost to give my Life to Christ some years ago.
I never know the difference between the OT and NT. Prior to that it was enough for me to go Church, together with my colleagues to Sunday services on campus.
My Life was, however, challenged one occasion in an all night prayer program that a friend invited me to.
I reluctantly, honored the invitation because it was very late, and I could not imagine going out at that very hour in the name of going for a service.
Actually, the program was meant for workers(Church), but it was still open to everyone. The fact is you must have a reason for going out around that time in the name of service(9pm-4am). I am now an advocate of all night prayer meetings because I know what it means.
Prior to that it was ok for me to think that all religions were ok in the eyes of God, and on campus I was very much interested in debates that will summon representatives of some of the main religions. I always want to listen, compare and contrast.
Well that very night(workers meeting) I was challenged to give my Life to Christ, that is how it began. I never knew it was the convicting power of the Holy Spirit.
You see Jesus says the world do not belief in him, but the Holy Ghost will convict them of sin, righteousness and Judgment.
It is the convicting power of the Holy Ghost that will bring a sinner to his or her knees. It is this conviction that makes one surrender to the Lord. What the Spirit of God does in that He searches us, your very self in the light of the word of God. The word of God is like a mirror. As we read it, the WORD reads us, also.
The WORD of God carries with it power, also, for it is inspired of God. It is able to discern the intents and purposes of the heart.
Jesus says the words I speak, they are spirit and life.
It is that initial challenge that provoked me to investigate.
The Holy Ghost power is very important, that is why the Lord admonished the believers to wait on him until they receive power from on high.
Jesus had been with the apostles throughout his Ministry and given them commandments to preach the WORD, and of what necessity was it for them to wait for the promise of the Holy Ghost.
It is because, it is the Holy Spirit that empowers believers, convicts us of our standing with the Lord, it also exposes sin in our life etc. Please, take time and read through the Acts 2 when the Church was inaugurated. It was of the Holy Ghost power.
The Holy Ghost is the authentic Stamp of the presence of God in any meeting. We can not do things in the flesh, that is in carnality. God cannot be pleased in the flesh.
You can understand how God cannot be pleased if we do not do things in the Holy Spirit. How much more serious it is for those who claim to worship God, and yet do not know who the Spirit of God is. The Spirit of God comes when Christ is evoked.
When Ministries fast unto the Lord and evoke the name of Christ in holiness, the presence of God is manifest. God is always looking for that individual who will be willing and avail himself or herself to be used of God. I have seen men of God visiting Churches, and the glory of God upon their life is evident.
When everything is orchestrated by the Holy Ghost, God takes the credit and not man. Hence, the need to spend time in his presence in all things
The spirit of God points to the Person of Christ in the Church.
What religions are aspiring for, is searching for the creator. It is inborn. We were created with a Spirit that is dead and needs to be awakened or revived, and what man has been doing is to try as much as he can to get to God. However, Jesus is the WAY, TRUTH and LIFE.
Jesus came to address the very issue that befell man, and that is death. Adam died, spiritually, the very day he sinned according to the WORD of God. Physically, it was a matter of time for Adam to die. It is like when you disconnect the power of fan from its source, the fan dies electrically at that instant, but dies mechanically after wards.
Thousands of years after, when Christ came to the scene, he once asked someone to follow him. The man agreed on condition that he first buries his father. Jesus said let the dead bury the their dead. The question is, how can a dead person bury another dead person?
Jesus was referring to the spiritual death of man, by virtue of everyone born of the will of the flesh. Thus, let those who are, physically, alive but spiritually dead bury the physical dead man.
That is why we talk about the born again experience. Unless, a man is born again he cannot see the Kingdom of God.
The scriptures says, with the heart a man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto Salvation.
I had to dedicate a lot of time searching and scrutinizing the scriptures. You will discover a line of proof from the beginning to the end.
The Bible makes it clear that we have an enemy who masquerades as an angel of Light deceiving many. In the book of Revelation, an angel echoes, saying fear the True God and worship him.
The True God is the one whose invisible qualities are clearly seen in the the things that he has made. Therefore the natural knowledge of God is evident in everywhere through creation. However, the Salvation knowledge of God is through Christ Jesus, who is the image of the invisible God. Christ is the WORD of God. He is the power of God. He is the Wisdom of God.
The True God is a covenant God. And he is calling all of us to enter into a covenant relationship with him. We are to cooperate with him in this regard, through his Son, Jesus Christ.
I have, ignorantly, dabbled in traditions until I experienced the convicting power of Christ.
I spent time, prayerfully, posting these things because, knowing Christ is Life Eternal.
It is important for one to be part of what God is doing through his people.
My conscience cannot allow me by passing by someone without dropping a hint about Christ, praying together and leading them to Christ.
The Bible says, a wicked person is the one who knows the way of Life and does not tell his brother. The way of Life is Christ.
My sister, there is so much deception in the world that, not until you are armed with the Truth, you can easily be carried away by every wind of doctrine.
The mandate of God is that first we need cleansing and the one who cleanses is Christ.
If anyone invites you to a place of Worship make sure of the following
1. If they Believe and Use the Bible
as the only and final authority
2. Acknowledged that Jesus Christ(of the Bible) is the Savior
3. Believe in the atonement of Christ.
4. They believe in the power of the Holy Ghost
etc.
Stay blessed!

AFTER ALL THE PRAYING WE GO TO THE CHINESE AND JAPANESE FOR ASSISTANCE. WE GO BEGGING THE NATIONS THAT DONT PRAY TO HELP US. THE LESSON IS SIMMPLE PRAYING AND FASTING AND PAYING TITHES IS NOT THE ANSWER.
IF THE CHINESE AND THE JAPANESE AND THE GERMANS ARE BLESSED TO BE PROSPEROUS ENOUGH TO HELP US, WE HAVE TO LEARN FROM THEM. WHAT MADE THEM PROSPEROUS. THEY HAVE MORE MONEY, THEY LIVE LONGER AND THEIR STANDARD OF LIVING IS HIGHER. WHAT IS THE SECRET TO THEIR SUCCESS? THE SECRET IS SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION , HARD WORK AND USING THE BRAINS GOD BLESSED US WITH.
PRAYERS HAS NOT SOLVED OUR WATER AND ELECTRICITY PROBLEMS. THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO HAVE BENEFITTED FROM THE PRAYERS, FASTING, TITHES AND PRAISES, ARE THE PASTORS AND THE SO-CALLED MEN OF GOD. THEY GET RICHER AND FATTER. THEY ENCOURAGE US TO PAY TITHES AND PRAY. .
LET'S LEARN FROM THE CHINESE, JAPANESE AND CANADIANS. THEY DO NOT PRAY TO JESUS. THEY DONT PAY TITHES AND SPEAK IN TONGUES. AFRICANS, WAKE UP! STOP THE LAZINESS! WE CANNOT SLEEP FOREVER! WAKE UP SLEEPING GIANT ! WAKE UP STUPID BLACK PEOPLE !

What is Life without Christ? That is why we have a responsibility to show love and share the Gospel with foreigners.
When people are far from home, they open up to people who would receive them warmly. And it is an opportunity to witness to them about Christ.
You are right in saying that most are not Christians! It is pathetic when you come to the knowledge of the fact that it is serious in the eyes of God. And it gives us responsibility to redeem the time.
It is prayer that anytime we get closer to people, we become sensitive to do the utmost to show love towards them and witness to them about Christ.
What God is looking for in people is that we are sealed in Christ.

The statements of the bible reinforce each other. If people submit to God's will and seek him, they will not be corrupt or lazy. The problem of this country is corruption and lazyness.Leadership without intergrity. If men will submit to God He will transform them from within and enable them transform their economies. God works together with us to transform our societies and their economies. Rev Asante is in deed right, but let us take his message in context.

It is delusional to think we have to wait for God to appoint someone to fix the economy. Does God oversee the elections? In our case, it is Afari Gyan who oversees the elections. As the author puts it, if you Ghanaians continue to elect corrupt officials, why blame God, or wait for God to come and fix the economy. You will pray till thy Kingdom come, if you don't use your brains and change your attitude, you won't achieve anything. Paradoxically, Ghanaians worship God more than most advanced countries, but are we better economically than them? Not at all. This goes to show that application of God given brains is paramount.

I agree that God does not fix frail economies for He will not do for us what we can do for ourselves. The problems our economy is facing are self-inflicted. How do we expect God to fix an economy that's hemorrhaging from massive corruption, profligate spending, misappropriations and plain thievery, misplaced priorities, ineptitude, cronyism, etc, etc. ? Those perpetrating these crimes against the people need to be removed from their jobs, hauled before the lawcourts and if found guilty punished for their crimes against the people.
God worked for 6 days during the creation and He expects his children to be like him, working to support themselves and dependants. When God expelled Adam and Eve from the Garden He instructed them about the principle of work saying to Adam "by the sweat of thy brow shall thou eat bread." He also gave unto man his agency, the right to choose for himself and not to be acted upon. With this agency to act for ourselves we become responsible for the choices that we make. If we don't like the results we're getting then we have to simply change the old way of doing things that is not working for our benefit, make better choices. We cannot be doing the same old things in the same old ways and expect to get different results.Until we begin jailing corrupt state officials our woes will never end and we will continue to have the same old results. You don't like your situation change it. We (the corrupt people we elect to rule us, and we the people who elect corrupt politicians and fail to hold them accountable for their crimes) are simply reaping what we have sown over the years. It's the Law of the Harvest. God is watching how we'll extricate ourselves from this mess we've created for ourselves.Where's is the personal responsibility if God has to personally intervene to fix a broken economy we've chosen to inflict on ourselves. Don't we look on passively(most of us including the clergy) , defend wrongdoing in the name of partisan politics and applaud when the economy is been pillaged and bastardized ? It appears the so called men of God don't even understand the nature and government of God.We are in trouble with the blind leading the blind.
