In as much as the Ewes have been mislead into committing various acts of atrocities against their fellow Ghanians mainly the Akans and therefore have become the curse of Ghana equally so have the Ashantis become the sorrow of the Akans with the likes of tribalist General Acheampong and kuffuour in their selfish greed and blatant disregard of the welfare of the rest of the non Ashanti Akans . we see the future in a confederation of 5 regions of Ghana with the fanti speaking central and western region being one entity , ashanti region another and the 3 northern regions a third and so on . these same ashanti boys were the ones who brought rawlings in 79 and 81 and today hold the country to ransom because of a conflict with the ewes about how much they could loot and steal from the rest of the nation . this conflict reflects in the perpetual antagonism of the npp and ndc denying us all the right and possibility to develope a country we can all be proud of . if the confederation doesnt work then we should all have the option of going our separate ways. today we see npp and ndc openly quarreling while the gurus continue behind the back door and under the table business as usual plundering the little that is left together with their corrupt civil service , a very sad situation indeed .

However, if you mean the president is bribing people, why don`t you give us a sort of tangible example. Npp bought all FMs, TV stations, common people on the street and even distributed money on election days, but yet still they lose. Is a shame to do that as a candidate for an election.

Away with your incendiary effusions!If you want to delve into matters of corruption and tribalism as a basis for national discourse then look no further for your party has all the ingredients to help you in such an endeavor. The cupidity of Kufour and his government was legendary the low point of which was manifested in Kufuor personally receiving kickbacks meant for his party, selling our prized assets such as Ghana Airways, Ghana Telcom, primed lands, and Jubilee oilfields among a litany of sleazy transactions, all in the name of kickbacks to enrich himself. We're told, and we have reason to believe same, that Kufuor and his family(immediate and extended)have today found good company in the Forbes list of rich Africans. Why he could join that exclusive club only after becoming president and not before is instructive. But who doesn't know that Kufuor by his words and conduct had always viewed politics as the ideal means of self-enrichment?
As for tribalism, President Mahama pales into insignifance if his appointments are held up against those of former president Kufuor. Here is a president who knowlingly refuses to appoint an upper westerner into his cabinet and when he's confronted with the fact, he sheepishly says he can't find any competent person from that region to join his government. Echoes of Busia and his appointments in 1969 which did not also include any Voltarian. Significantly, upper west is the home region of Dombo! In fact by 2004, only Alhaji Mustapha Iddris, then minister of Works and Housing, was the lone person of northern extraction in Kufuor's government. It took sustained protestations from northerners before Kofi Adda from upper east was brought in. How do you treat a people with such disdain and still expect them to vote for you to come and continue with their marginalsation? Only Kufuor and the NPP can answer this question. By the way do a quick check of Mahama's appointments and you won't fail to notice how representative of our country they are. Unless and until the NPP purges itself as an Asante/Akyem party and genuinely extends a hand of friendship and respect to other tribes in particular the minority ones as is being done by even the conservative ideologues in the Republican party in America, i can see them losing further ground in Ghana's political space. A welcome beginning will be to reign in tribal supremacists like Okoampo,Sarpong, Akadu and Adofo before they can do irreparable harm to the already bruised elephant.
