I was enjoying your article till you made it tribal. What prove do you have that "People with northern names are most often the victims"? Could it simply be that people who live in the area are affected the most? It is a common practice in the airline and car rental industry to give priority to visitors, visitors staying a in hotel or people connecting a flight etc than those who are residents of the towns around the airport. Yes I agree there is corruption but don't mess a fine write-up by bringing in tribal sentiments.

It is not a common practice for airlines or car rental agencies to give priority to visitors or tourists over local residents when it comes to booking or fulfilling a contract. That is total misinformation.

If that is true then we are in for trouble. The only remedy is to stop patronizing starbow and go for the tried and tested Antrak air and the others.

This corrupt practises must ceased. If mgt is not careful, we may be running wrecking aircraft in the name of business. Look airline business is a serious one. Life is precious,. Mgt wake up, identify the culprits, prosecute them, and freeze all their assets including Bank account, Immovable property, and house hold chattels. Stop these crimes, extortion and uncouth Bhvr toward your passengers. Mgt. please wake up. I repeat. Mgt wake up! If you are also part of the problem. Be on guard.

If there are about four airlines plying the same route, passengers can simply shift allegiance. That is why we have competition. Unless of course Starbow is a government airline?

Apart from increasing fares and cheating on flight reservations they also steal from passengers and yet when complain the officials will not do anything about it. This is a very bad habit. They should desist from it.

We are sorry to hear of your complaint about your recent booking with Starbow. We would ask that you email info@flystarbow.com with the details of your booking and complaint, your booking reference number and the passenger names so that we can investigate what has occurred.

Over the last few days Starbow (and the other airlines who operate into Tamale) were advised at late notice of the closure of the runway in Tamale for some maintenance work. This has caused some cancellations and rescheduling of flights. In order to minimise the inconvenience to our passengers we have been contacting those affected to inform them of the changes and offer them a refund or alternative travel arrangements at no extra cost to the customer. If any passenger believes that they have been treated unfairly at any time, please do write to us at the email address above so that the management team can investigate. Thank you.

Ili, you know what to do. Boycott Starbow! Organised Aluta is the answer and dare take the management to court. Low quality delivery is what one gets across the country from POWER AND WATER COMPANIES to the telecoms.

Just check Africa World airline at the domestic section of the Accra airport and you would see a big difference. Respect for the traveller and safety is their hallmark.

I even argued with one stay bow customer service lady after she insulted me and shouted at me though i was carrying a my little baby and needed them to help me bore the flight faster but she rather delayed me and did not even mind me till one of them told her to stop such behaviour of rudeness. since then i have not travelled with that flight again because i pay for my flight myself and demand a respect. i have shifted to antrack since the workers are far better and respect

I think starbow can do better. This matter should not be swept under the carpet. What i dont like about starbow is the delays. They hardly keep to takeoff time and this can be frustrating atimes

except weather or equipment problems..even bus's in usa have time tables they must follow to allow easy onward travel on other bus. Only in africa does the bus or plane move when full!
