Mr. Agyei should tell us what he wants the NSS to do if they are not prepared to go by the decision of the Director of NSS. The sector the NSS wants the personnel to handle is a very sensitive sector and they have the ability to handle those sectors in the national interest. If they are not interested, where are they interested to work? the students must appreciate the tax payers contribution towards their education. Come to Europe and see the kind of work people are doing with proper qualifications and you guys want to pick and choose.

Who by the way is the tax payer you are referring to? Parents of these graduates also contribute to the nation's funds by paying their taxers. Tax payers are not any special people from Mars. They are right here in Ghana with children and wards also in the universities. Sometimes I wonder if the Director of NSS still thinks we are in the eighties. Someone please advise him that countries are advancing faster than Ghana is catching up. You spend money to train people and send them out on to the streets to direct traffic. Indeed, where is Ghana drfting off to. We better take a second look at the people leading us. Truly visionless.

this is our problem in Ghana. If you are a graduat you are trained/educated. Look at the dictionary meaning of Education. You can do anything as a universtiy student, you are given the tools to excel in anything you do and touch just from your broad education you got. Firt decreee from universtiy does is not a specialization. Do you know what jobs others before this did as natinal service personel?

The nss boss has ran out of ideas. He should go back to the tertiary institutions and refresh his memory of what is the various specialization areas taught there so he could make up his mind.

Fresh graduate tasked to direct traffic can't be a panacea for the decongestion on our roads. They need to be absorbed in our industries to boost the technical expertise required by our industries.
