This writer is unnecessarily jostling for position just in case there is positive news from the SC and the time to share the spoils of war.Such breathtaking intolerance can not do the NPP any good especially the attitude of attacking any member of the party as an enemy for any constructive criticism of the npp, could spell the beginning of the end of this great party as we know it if nothing is done.It looks like a small number of insignificant members with the support of the present leadership had usurped and crippled healthy decent at the expense of the many.The spurious reasons and the arrogance of this writer for arrogating to himself the right to exclude these titans of the party beggars belief and is an example of such abuse. Those of us who wish the fortunes of the npp will turn soon for historical reasons and also for the sake of our democracy,are appalled at this latest development.The silent majority of the party must take steps at the appropriate time to rescue the party from these die hards whose only concern is to protect their selfish interest.There is no doubt that the npp is a great party with a rich tradition steeped in democracy and the party must not allow the few to seize control.

I think a party member is primarily one who holds a party card and contributes in some way to party activities and development.
It is not only those who are on radio or seen elswhere defending party positions who are party members. There are a lot of party members who will contribute their quota on the quite or even just vote to enhance the party's chances.
Defining party membership as only persons who accept party policies and decisions is not only undemocratic but dangerous. It only shows how the NPP party is becoming intolerant to dissenting views. That trend must come to a stop somewhere, otherwise the party's future will be jeopardised.
It will come to a point where only sycophants will be ruling the party and the intelligent people will either take back seat, refuse to think or exit.
To quote you "People should also not overlook the fact that in the heat of the energy crisis, the Kufuor’s administration imported some giant generators to beef up energy production and supply in the country. But Wireko Brobbey described those generators as toys. How could a good party man make such damning remarks about a government that he was part of?"
