Did you not know that Dr Ako-Adjei was the man who brought Dr Nkrumah to then Gold Coast to come and replaced him as Secretary of the UGCC. Thus after the disagreement of principle of how self government must come about the group broke up. Therefore, Dr Nkrumah and Dr Ako-Adjei broke away to go and formed the CPP.

Nkrumah too did not accept court judgement when the High Court did not find the CPP Ministers he caused their arrests after the Kulungugu bombing and instituted another court that found those who have been freed by the court to prison.
Busiah did not do such a thing and there was not even one political prisoner during his rule unlike Nkrumah who imprisoned, farmers, students, trade Union officials and politicians in thousands as political prisoners, that is what a Dictator is not a Methodist Christian and a gentle soul like Busiah.

President Mills refused the committee set up to determine how much Kuffour should be given and MAHAMA too can reject the committee recommendation about the amount involved here but he did not despite the hardship the country is going through because he expect to cash in when his time comes for these same Parliamentarians to pay him back.
Now talking about what was awarded to Kuffour, a lot of us unlike your worthless self like your mother's bloody used tampon said something against it and it was not given and Kuffour out of the Presidency more than four years has not received his ex-gratia.

People, this is the rot that has engulfed the country. The blatant and reckless handling of the nation's resources is so alarming and depressing that it make you wonder if Government and people in charge of running the affairs are aware of the problems confronting the people of Ghana. Look at our Hospitals, the horrible electricity and water supply situations, educational system that is in shambles, the filth that is swallowing up the environment, the corruption and lack of any semblance of orderly society and on and on...
It is irresponsible, careless and disgraceful to note that Governments and the authorities have nothing or are doing anything to address these basic challenges in Ghana. in order words, they are the reason Ghana has not known real progress or development. All governments/politicians do is blame others instead of finding solutions to challenges. They throw dust into the eyes of the public and confuse the people.
Coup is just not the answer. It is retrogressive. In my opinion, creation non-partisan institutions to educate the public into perpetual watch-dogs over the manner in which the country is managed, and also demand accountability, will go a long way. Only an informed educated citizenry can ensure that the ills in society are corrected.
We should never assume that people elected or put in power will do the right thing, we have to demand that they do the right thing.
Priorities of the populace are not their priorities.

For sure if we can find one who is totally inflexible on corruption, blessed with some degree of selflessness and can crack the whip, it will be a godsend. In Ghana, the police is the number one cancer and every single one of them must be let go. The African politician is irresponsible and easily corrupted. Africans in general respond only to harsh interventions and commands especially from white people. Western multiparty democracy will never work in Africa. Nkrumah found that out and chose the one party system, which also has its problems. We can try regional devolution with each region in charge of its affairs supported by funds from a common purse that is fairly divided. In the short term each region will recruit a white man (eg a former President or Prime Minister) of proven integrity and managerial skills. He, she must come with a professional 'shoot-to-kill' well paid small police force under whom the Ghana police will operate. I am sorry to say it, but an African country with a black president, black ministers, black supreme court, black police chief, black head of the national bank etc....etc... will simply not work. Sad, but that is the record. Take a look at the continent and prove me wrong.

The Army should simply stay in the Barracks rather than trying to save this country. The assumption that the rampant political corruption going on under Mahama's administration justifies military coup is both distrubing and outrageous. Remember, once upon a time, we had 'Junior Jesus' and his 'anti-corruption' brigade. And Ghanaians sang the chorus: Let the blood flow! Then, 'Junior Jesus' preached virtues but.....If Ghanaians knew what they know now, Ghana wouldn't have found itself in its current state!
Surely, Ghana has grown weary of military coups! Military coup d'etat will not resolve the country's leadership crisis. And if it does occur now, it will not be civilized one. The reality is that not only will it pose an immediate threat to our infant democracy but the unstable atmosphere could lead to wider ethnic/tribal conflicts in Ghana. Just imagine the ethnic make-up of the country's military.
At times I think Ghanaians well and truly deserve what they get from our elected leaders! Ghana is a reasonably democratic country with a representative system which makes it possible to vote competent and patriotic people people into Parliament, yet we the same poor, uneducated and ignorant masses do campaign and vote for the same old, corrupt, inept politicians! We're just like Turkeys always voting for Christmas. We deserve all that we're served!

They should rather make it clear that their actions are linked to the wanton looting of the political classes.
The Parliamentarians are claiming they went for loans to run their campaigns. Shoud that be anyone's problem? However, that is how our politics have become - using the people's money to buy the people's votes. Is it a wonder that they do not want Ghanaian children to have quality education? The budget deficit alone in FY12 would have paid for more than three years of fee-free SHS or resource all rural basic schools. But ironically, John Mahama was right to have pointed out that the nation could not affect free SHS; he knew what he was using the money for - buying votes!

When the constitution was written, JJ thought he would never exit the presidency. All the loopholes in the constitution was the work of JJ because it helped him loot the nation and those who followed him walked on the same path.

Make no mistake, we can never ever have Afrifa's kind of military officer in Ghana again. You see, they were well brought up innocent young men who went straight from decent secondary schools to a military establishment with a history of "an officer and a gentleman." They saw a hopeless situation, came in to quickly correct it so civilian could get on with it.
Compare that with Acheampong (Kwame Nkrumah Ideological Institute), Jerry Boom (Boakye Djan/Tsatsu/Ebo Tawiah School of Pseudo Socialism.) That was Ghana's undoing. They were only interested in bettering their wretched lot. Look at China and the old Soviet Union or North Korea today.
The present crop of Ghanaian miliatary officers are all tainted by ideological/tribal/religious, etc alliances. Besides their porous JSS/SSS education has not equipped them with any decent knowledge of Economics, Government, Law or human relations, to rule a country. That is obvious from the number of miliatry/police brutalities that have gone on in Ghana over the past five years without anyone ever being charged. They will not fare any better than the clueless Mahama.
At the end of the day, you have to blame the Ghanaian voter who, in the face of all the problems of 2009/12 still connived with the idiotic Afare-Djan, to deprive Ghana of a needed change. NPP might not be any better, but if Ghanaian politicians understood that they stood to be replaced after every election, they would think twice about every decision they make while in office.
I would rather work for that, drum into the consciousness of the Ghanaian voter that politicians do not have to be rewarded for incompetence.
