If MRAA is not good, a foreign coach
is not good either.
But one thing stands out clear, whilst
foreign coaches are nothing but 'soccer mercenaries' whose interests only lies in the 'big money' and its accompanied fringe benefits, the home grown who presumably do the same thing the mercenary does and perhaps better, has the commitment, the urge, albeit unconditional love for his mother club-the TeamGhana if you know what love means.
I wonder why many of us are not considering this fact:
This is MRAA's first tour of duty. And as it happens to virtually everybody in the job market, one is bound to absorb pain and aches, the ugly and glaring mistakes, not to forget about the hard knocks, bumpy roads, the usual 'ak33ak33'-pull him downs, as well as stiffer oppositions, competitions amidst the cankerous usurpation of powers from above versus global impediments to overcome during the first-two years in office.
Such may be some but not all the reasons why the writer and very many of us have failed or refused to consider and allow the just 'employed
employee' to find his rhythm before the employer starts to harbour any tangible reason to whine.
Otherwise, it would be unwise, quite inhuman and ungodly to interrupt MRAA who by all standards, everything considered, especially for winning reason, have done so well in his first tour of duty.
Besides, it is players that win games only for coaches to take the undue credit.
Give MRRA the best players out there
and he will 'wrought wonders'(my bad)
If I were MRAA, I will meticulously and methodically choose players of good standing. i.e. Active on team roster, fit, able and willing.
This comes to mind the question of making the local players the main stay of TeamGhana as opposed to the current practice where foreign players forms the cradle of the team.
The main concept of rallying players around to form the GBS is through a qualification that can best be described in soccer terms as "Justify Your Inclusion"
If you pick equal number of players, Local Vs. Foreign for a starter in JYI
there wouldn't be a gain to say the foreign players would outnumber the locals in the selection process.
"Adepa na 3tOn neho"
In that, the foreign players whom we know, may have been exposed to quality training regiment amidst modern facilities and good coaching techniques that obviously facilitates better player development would obviously edge out the locals during the JYI process.
A Local player worth its salt therefore, in my opinion and experience, couldn't have been any better than the foreign based.
Rather, he must thrive hard to move or opt out in order to be called back as a qualifier for the GBS.
The captions above are entirely mine. They are subject to a test and would welcome concrete suggestions in the name of helping the GBS to grow. Please spare me the insults.
"Adwenkyer3 nna faako"
Beats Me.

Mr. Reagan, wasn't the same coach MRAA who played Sudanda goalless draw on his first assignment at Baba Yara and redeemed himself by hummered them 4-0 again at the same venue?
I wonder why some of you were soo afraid of the Zambitos, man of little faith, open your eyes and raised your head high and see the soccer glory from coach MRAA when the Brazil bell begins to sound. I was at Baba Yara and saw how the boys were read to die for their country.
Just don't try to plant any negativity ideas to detriment the right course.
We will go and beat Sudan 1-0, Lesothos 3-0, Zambia 2-0 at Baba yara!
There is nothing WRONG WITH COACH MRAA PERIOD!

Granted Akwasi is technically bankrupt, which of your foreign coaches put more than two goals beyond Sudan? Did we not play Lesotho with one of those coaches? How many goals did we put beyond them then? How many did AA's boys put pass the same team? Please come again with stronger arguments as the ones you tendered seem to lack any bite.
