  In addition to the proposal from Blue Energy of the UK, I understand from sources in Italy that a group in that country have submitted a similar project to SADA to build a 200 megawatt photovoltaic (PV) solar power plant in Northern Ghana. Unlike the Blue Energy project, funding is secured following a draft MOU. And the Italians are waiting further directives from the Board of SADA.
