Western culture is the standard of living you all aspire to: Manners, Christianity, education, anti-heathenism and civil justice. Akadu Mensema might speak lyrically as a native but will she return from America with her brood to backward Denkyira.

Uncle Brodie has two living sisters in Elmina. They speak impeccable Fante and English. There are some people like that:

When people like Brodie, Annobil, Ackah Yensu spoke Fante, they will never drop a single English word in it; and when they turn to English they never mention a word of local vernacular in it. It was a rare quality of Fante scholars.

The okro mouths in Ghana Politics are the supporters of CPP and P/NDC...they talk and talk and talk for nothing!

Not only do you lack knowledge of basic grammar but also common sense, morals and culture. It is universal culture not to speak ill of the dead. Yet you have turned what should be a celebration of the life of your relative into a platform for launching the same old, never-ending vile attacks against the memory of Osagyefo Kwame Nkrumah, which the Danquah-Busia forces have carried out for 47 years.

We will not descend into the gutter with you. The stench is overpowering, and you have done a good job or exposing your own defaecation there to the whole world. You apparently think that "graft" is a virtue, the most noble to bestow on your late relative! You believe assimilating the white man's ways is civilization, and your ancestors' collaboration with the British colonial invaders is a mark of distinction and honour.
With all due civility, we CPPists beg to differ. And we are most proud of Osagyefo for having rid Ghana of the colonialists and ending their colossal graft and theft of our resources. We will remain eternally grateful to Osagyefo for having brought free education for all in Ghana. We will remain proud of the work R.P. Baffoe did for higher education in Ghana (for which he was victimized into exile from Ghana).

Unlike you, we remain conscious of the fact that we are human beings first above everything else, and that our political differences should not be resolved with insults. You will therefore see a number of CPP members who have come to mourn with the family at the memorial.

We do not trace any politics against CPP in the said Tribute except to tell the truth which is bitter to people like you...and the bit about British Colonialist: The answer is simple: Look around you and smell the coffee, and accept the inevitable that we are in this hole because of evil that began from the money grabbers of the First Republic.
