Given that Tony Lithur failed to prove anything, the real headline should be: Addison Outwits Tsikata Again. For all his acclaimed legal brains, Tsikata has only resorted to ad hominems, trying to insult the integrity of the plaintiff's counsels, while losing all his objections on point of law. In the end he was saved by the Justices who didn't want an elderly colleague at the bar to be embarrassed when Addison demanded an apology.

Tony Lithur established two clear ingredients in his cross examination.First duplications and secondary forgeries,you establish that by evidence and so ,you can not say to the court that there were 100 duplicate and forged signatures on the pink sheet.The evidence must have to established or discredit one by one even if it takes all day.

The objection by Tsatsu and co was not dismissed for lack of merit but supposed to have been made a bit belatedly,a bit surprising isn't it.Perhaps the idea is to keep the trial going because already the pastern is beginning to show so why worry with insignificant details the judges might be implying.Like a pack of cards the npp petition is crumbling and falling apart!A complete waste of time.

From a tall list of over 11k plus polling stations, ypu can count only a handful from the NPP`s world bank of Ashanti region with the largest population,and number of polling stations. Even where you see a listing from Ashanti, the same polling stations-Asawase,Sekyedumase,and New Edubiase- all known NDC strongholds keep poping up as though very little or none of the concocted infractions occured over there! In sharp contrast,all the regions the NDC won - the 3 northern regions,volta, central,gt. Accra,and western regions featue prominently on this list. What a bunch of sore losers!

The lady is a CPP or original Nkrumaist but can point out deficiencies in any political standpoint. She clearly suffers no fools gladly and NDC is full of them!

You will not drive her out of the Ghana forum so get use to the truth she writes. There is no ethnocentricism in her views as malicious as those from all these awona and brukutu people:

Indeed Ghana did not benefit at all from 19 years of EWE Tribalism under JJ Rawlings, who gave all the juicy positions to his countrymen only to flop and flop again. If Mahama is repeating this, why should another Ghanaian not say it?

But can you blame the poor guy?
It was very evident even when he was giving his evidence-in-chief that he had not been adequately 'preped' up;and it showed big time in the way handled some of the questions Addison put to him. And this was under friendly conditions! His attempt to unecessarily paint the EC black, demonstrated that he is just another 'ordinary politician' who will say just about anything to gain an upper hand,in this case power!
What was the real benefit in accusing the EC of an 'elaborate' and sophisticated fraud,if all the result he could point to was just 51 ghost names in an election register containing more than 14 million names?
Some of the 'cheap'shots he took at the EC came back to bite him,when Tony Lithur took him through the 'mill' a little bit. I felt sorry for him because it is obvious he appered to be in 'wonderland' and understood very little about what Lithur was trying to do him. And now that Lithur has 'tied' the rope around his neck,Messrs Tsatsu and Quarshie-Idun will zero in,and go for the kill! And owing to Addison`s too -confrontational style,I do not think even a mild-mannered Quarshie-Idun will show any mercy on this poor soul! this guy will be in for some roug ride come next Monday.

To be fair to the man, can anyone worth his or her salt tell us where the breach lies in Dr. Bawumia’s claims? Do the rules on coding and document classification allow the author to label a manual and electronic document differently? Do they?

Let’s give the gentleman some respect. Subjecting a preliminary data to unnecessary attacks without first examining the analysis, which Dr. Bawumia has promised to make public in his analysis, speaks volumes of our lack of knowledge of analysis and the many steps required in arriving at a final conclusion.

I have no doubt that the NDC lawyers are going to pore over every shred of his analysis. Until that happens, let’s sheath our swords. Hope all is well. Good day and cheers.

Analysis are subjective and like statistics one can come to any conclusion based on the subjective reasoning process.So the right place to test the reliability of the petitioners' case is the examination process.The duplications are there for a purpose and the fraudulent signatures are also there for a purpose though Bawumia will deny that.What is most important is that the evaluation of his performance will be objectively accessed and that is always based on common sense.

The question then is,are these duplicates and signatories there for a purpose or are there because of mischief.With all things concerning statistics the mischief can be cured in the details and hidden as a result.That is where common sense comes in.What we saw was a guilty man with all intent and purpose trying to mislead the court and was caught in the act.A guilty conscience needs no accuser and you can tell from his demeanor that it has unbalanced him.Given the opportunity he could use statistics to justify his claim that those duplicates will not be reflected in the analysis.The truth of the matter however is that the harm had already been done and is now under public scrutiny Bawumia must be careful he does not become a victim of circumstances beyond his control.
