Filling for supplementary affidavit is not good enough to clear his name. it makes one wonder, "is akufo-addo really a qualified lawyer? If he really believe in his heart that he went to law school and graduated with a law degree then he must produce his law certificate. the general public is interested to know the truth of the matter and we need to be convinced beyond reasonable doubt as the Vice President Kwesi Amissah Arthur has done.

How low can your education and reading comprehension be, the gentleman really used soft and "small" words to put his points across, and you say what? That you nearly gave up reading the whole because you did not understand him? How can that be his fault? You don't ask a medical doctor to bring his craft to the level of a village witchdoctor, do you?
Why must it be different here? Listen, enough of this race to the bottom, enough of the badly educated like you pulling people to their level. You call yourself reverend, I put it to you that, verily, verily, the Bible English is more difficult than the medium this author of the article in question chose to express himself, and if you can't understand that, I am afraid to think how you could be interpreting the Bible to your congregation. Allez, dismiss yourself.

With writings like this and others from intelligent professionals, pressure begins to mount on the two: Nana Addo and Justice Kpega. Who is telling the truth here. Free speech has lit this case and it is assuming a higher dimension than expected. Initially people decided to let go the matter but it kept rearing its ugly head in; implying that these sensitive and curious matters do not go away. Infact, this one is here to stay. It has advanced, accelerated and raced to the Supreme Court. Is there an iota of truth in this ? The courts have a job to do. What I do suggest for any one to do brought under such a heinous allegation is come out and proof that the case is not other wise. It is simple: As I stated before, I lost my A level Cert. I applied to WAEC for a duplicate. I get to WAEC, provide ID, Index number, my name, they cross check, and checked my name. I then paid a fine, a token and I got my duplicate. Is it not in the same scenario in this case? It is so simple and easy to do. Trust me, Ghana Law School would be even more organized in terms of documentation thank to legality. Right? So why is he waiting?

You had the impudence to juxtapose Twi against English, as though any number of Ghanaians actually engage intellectually in Twi. English is Ghana's official language, and would remain so for many many years. Twi is equally mediocre as most of our other local languages, which are simply nice to engage in culturally and socially. The reason why most Ghanaians speak their mother tongues beautifully and eloquently, and still chose to speak Twi is that they are not as homogeny and less confident about themselves collectively as other ethnic Ghanaians.
Anyway this article didn't quite interest me because it is so elementary. The ex-justice is equally culpable for concealing such crucial civic information, until such that it suits his ulterior motives. I have little or no confidence in the complete governance of Ghana, they are all losers, cheats and lazy officials.

The second point is that all certificates from abroad must be vigorously scrutinized and certificates must only be recognized from internationally accredited institutions. There is no doubt that many people are using bogus certificates from abroad from private institutions which are not recognized, such people must be weeded out.The attitude of of not what you know but whom you know must stop and give way to a new chapter in our democracy.

Like the writer said, this shouldn´t be turned into tribal issue as Akadu Mensema had done all along.Ghanaians deserve a better leader with clean chracter.

Do you really believe Kpegah has a case? Akufo Addo has been practicing law for approximately 40 years and has litigated most of landmark cases in Ghana. Kpegah is only engaging in frivolity and he should be sanctioned by the court. You see, you don't need to file a suit in court for a determination of whether a person is licensed to practice law. You file a complaint with bar counsel and that office investigates the matter and issues appropriate sanction. Kpegah's suit will be thrown out. Unfortunately, he is broke an therefore any defamation judgment against him will not be paid. In any event, it appears you are a Kpegah sympathizer so good luck

Akufo-Addo can practice law and be successful for zillion years, that is not the case here the crux of the matter is that who is W.A.D akufo-addo? No one is doubting akufo-addo's achievement as a lawyer or how long he has served. the question here is that, where is his law certificate?

Does he know how many Ghanaians are called Nana and yet have not been enstoolled as a chief.
This is a man who is broke.Does not have a home of is own.Won't leave the government bungalow thinking is given to him for life. This is politics. He is afraid if the supreme court should rule against NDC he may be in trouble.
I think Nana Addo should go to court and prove that he was admitted to the bar and can practice law in Ghana.Once this is established he should then sue that chief justice for DEFAMATION of Character.

The Republic of Ghana Parliament's Appointments Committee has demanded the Deputy Northern regional minister designate to produce his ordinary and advanced school levels certificates.
This was after Alhaji A.B.A Fuseini had admitted to the committee that the certificates were missing.
Though the nominee had stated on his CV that he completed his 'O' and 'A' levels education at the T.I Ahmadiyah senior high school in Kumasi, he could not indicate the certificates acquired.
After further probing, he told the committee the certificates were missing.
Alhaji Fuseini explained to the committee that he had left the certificates in the care of his relatives to travel, only to find upon return they had gone missing.
“...But I can tell this committee with all honesty and sincerity that I have earned those certificates but unfortunately, it’s just that I don’t have them ... now,” he told the Vetting Committee.
But a member of the committee, Baba Jamal - not satisfied with the answer – insisted that the nominee should find other means of retrieving the certificates.
“With your certificate, I know when it is missing, you can still go back to the institutions [where you schooled] and they [will] give you copies there.
“You can always do that. So it is important that you do that". (Credit myjoyonline).)
The above took place last week at the Parliament's Appointment Committee where the deputy minister disignate was advised to approach the awarding institution for a duplicate copy for submission. How different is this from Nana Akufo Addo's case? The GLC of Ghand and the Middle Temple should be able to provide duplicate copies of Nana's certificates rather than submitting letters, records, testimonials etc. Ghanains know one thing and that is the certificate period. The submission of supplementary Affidavit means he does NOT have the certificate therefore there is an element of truth in Justice Kpegah's claim. Let's wait ad see.
