As a senior mathematician, i knew definitely that Dr. Bawumia, being a scholar par excellence, would not make that easy mistake of using those duplicate pink sheets, which he presented to the court on purpose, in his final analyses of the votes that he is praying the court to reject. I knew Trokosi Tony Lithur was deliberately drawing the court attention to the duplicates so as to please idiots like Asiedu Nketia and Mahama who know nothing about statistics. Power point graphic presentation would have made it easier for the incompetent lawyers of the respondents understand the big bang that awaits them but the old school judges, whom for lack of knowledge of the power of computer, blocked that move.

But I wonder if Akua Bonsu and the NPP are not only worried about Tony Lithur exposing their double counting , but his effort to point out the confusion they have carefully planned to create in the minds of the Justices? Why has so much energy been expended in creating as many as 24 different categories of infractions, and then presented as raw data in the form of individual exhibits for court, and to what end? The answer is simple: To bamboozle and dazzle the SC,and the public at large! Conveniently, our ‘super-sage’,Ms. Bonsu,chooses to downplay the significance of meticulous fashion Tony Lithur got Bawumiah,reluctantly, to concede the point that if he(Bawumiah) and his high-priced team of lawyers/IT specialits/spin doctors,can make mistakes; are not above 'doctoring' official documents,then the hoolabaloo about poorly trained temporary EC offcials not following set guidelines is not such a big deal after all! I aslo find it very troubling that a political party which claims to believe in democracy, will invest such a strenuous effort to disenfranchise close to a third of all eligible voters who showed up at different polling stations, across Ghana on Dec 7 & 8 to cast their vote! Were all these people 'ghost' or "fake" voters the EC had created,if Bawumiah`s account is to be believed,who were then 'carted' around different areas of the country to vote;or bona fide eligible voters who knew who their preferred presidential candidate was?
Btw,who made emphatic statements about vote rigging ,’stealing’,etc – allegations that have since evaporated into thin air and given way to charges of ‘irregularities’, ‘statutory violations’, ‘omissions’ ,and what not,as if the EC purposefully set out to perpetrade an electoral "fraud" on Ghanaians, as it being alleged by these petitioners! Talk about which side is using all manner 'tricks' to gain the presidency through the back and side doors in this country. All of a sudden,Dr. Afari Gyan,the EC boss,who has supervised 5 separate elections that have returned your own party to powert on two occasions, is now "a thief";accused of taking a GHc35 million bribe to fix the results,and so on. Whose lawyers tried to sneek in "updated" material under the excuse that these were mere personal notes needed to refersh the 'wiz kid`s' memory. Really!!!!

There are more than one for some of the polling stations. NOTHING to do with manual and electronic counting. Each group of polling stations has their own unique identification numbers.

Over-voting alone say coded "GFD". A station with only unsigned pink sheet, say coded "WEDS" whiles a station with only no-verification may be coded "QASW". Hence, there was no need of a polling station/pink sheet having different codes(i.e. duplication)

We all listened to the case please, spare us.
In anycase, the essence of a cross examination is to discrdit what the petitioner claims, so why not give the respondent's counsel a break. He knows what he is doing and I believe that if he fails with the style of cross examination then it simply goes to Dr. Bawumia's advantage. If you are a truly NPP supporter, I will suggest you need to be happy and joyous over the failings of your opponents legal flaws and challenges.

The important question is as a result of the duplicate pink sheets how many votes were illegally added by Dr. Bawumia to swell the nos.? I think the strategy of the NDC legal team was to bore and wear Bawumia down so that he loses focus.

Tony Lithur’s cross-examination of Dr. Baumia at the ongoing election petition hearing this week shows Asiedu Nketia's NDC as the party that lacks any sense of simple mathematics; an accusation Asiedu Nketia has been throwing on the NPP. If Lithur and his cohorts had taken a one day course in set theory during his JHS days, he would have known that any member of a set can belong to multiple subsets and be characterized or named differently according to the same subsets. A versatile sports girl in a school can be in the basketball team, soccer team, tennis team, swimming team, hockey team, volleyball team, etc. She will wear different jerseys with different numbers and be referred to by those different numbers in each team, but she will never be counted as 6 or more persons in the team for her school. It's that simple, Tony Lithur. Let more serious people take on this case so that we can bring it to a close early and have some peace.

When you go to court, you must NOT give your opponments the lest chance of trying to influence the court to your disadvabtage. It took the NPP lawyers about 1 month if not more to put their case together, If there was even the slightest chance of a double count of pink sheets, they should have anticipated that the opposition would seize on that fact and make it work for them. So they should have , WARNED THE BENCH that the impression might be created that there was duplication, but in fact, there weasn't. If you leave it to them to intepret it, of course, they might interpret it to embarrass you. The NPP lawyers failed in their duty in this instance. Of course, it won't matter much if the judges (albeit reluctantly) use the evidence Bawumiah presaented on the CD ROM.BUT TACTICALLY, SPEAKING, the NPP lawyers scored an own goal. It is excusable, because of the sheer number of evidential material. But no-one said it was a going to be an easy case to conduct. AND WIN!!

And how come Bawumia, couldn't explain they way you are telling us now? That's why I'm saying that you seems intelligent than the economist. You're liar as well as Dr. Bawumia. NPP inserted those double exhibits, just to deceive the public and the court. All the explanations he was giving in the witness stand wouldn't wash. Adding up votes doesn't need any analysis. But if you really know ,mathematics and very honest with your analysis all those irregularities can be reconciled easily. Did any of the nnp polling agents protested against any polling station results? Did they in any way report to their superiors that there was over voting in some poling stations? Did Bawumia relied on errors on pink sheet to build their so called irregularities? All these questions need answers.

Nana Akua, What the cross-exaamination did was to establish the fact that Bawumia tried to deceive the court by disingenously inflating the number of defective pink sheets. He sought to create the impression that the number of pink sheets issued far outnumbered the number of polling stations involved. Secondly, the cross-examination proved that NPP can make mistakes, likewise the EC. Hence, if NPP should be pardoned for their mistakes, then they should stop seeking to take advantage of EC's mistakes (if any) to ascend the presidency.
