You come off as someone who is perfect and knows everything about writing and people who criticized your article are people who just don't get it about writing. It has never occurred to you that some of those who read your article write far better than you and know more about writing than you do. Instead of answering your critics in the forum on the specific issues they complained about, you go home and write an article to lecture EVERYBODY! You don't even know it's an insult!

CONTRADICTION
"I have never been apprehensive or discouraged about obnoxious comments on my write-ups since my writing career. However, it becomes quite worrying when such uncouth comments and conclusions are drawn from absolutely no premises"
BRAGGART
" I understand and appreciate the fact that not all our readers are scholars, or permit me to say, very educated formally"
"I THUS" (is wrong usage in English or any form of writing pretending to be creative. You can't write, let alone teach)
"I thus consider it expedient to briefly highlight some of the key principles and techniques that inform a creative or crafty article and title."
SHUT THE FVCK UP, NIGGER! "I thus" is no English.
EXCUSE ME, WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO TEACH HERE?
"grammatically spot-on sentences or phrases is thus, always important."
You mean "grammatically correct"? What is "grammatically spot-on"? That's a jargon, you arrogant twerp.
And what is the "thus" doing there in your sentence: "is thus, always important"? YOU DON'T KNOW JACK.
"UTMOST" not "OUTMOST"
"One of the outmost objectives of every serious journalist"
"FIGURATIVE" is NOT the same as "METAPHORIC"
"We should always remember, that in the contemporary literary world, almost every single statement could be ironic, ambiguous, figurative (metaphorical),
I read the entire article out of curiosity to confirm my negative notions about Ghanaweb authors claiming to be INVESTIGATIVE JOURNILIST, RESEARCHER, EDUCATOR, AUTHOR, Astronaut and other important figure such as the second coming of Christ. Walk on water now to prove you're the one.
You pompous dumbass. Don't ever write again to lecture us about anything.

You have exhibited your own ignorance and stupidity. You can't even differentiate between a spelling mistake or oversight and good English.
Who told you outmost is wrongly spelt; which world are you living in? who said figurative and metaphoric cannot be used interchangeably.
So you are proud to use the 'N' word and yet call yourself an informed person.
Stupid son of a bitch.

It is a shame that you are still blind to the needlessness of the caption of your article. Why should you sound sensational and tribalistic just for the sake of cheap attention. If other journalists in advanced countries are engaged in them, that do not make your deviations right. The ethics of journalism frown at what you did. I suggest you revise your notes on effective journalism. If not for mischief, why did not you caption your sorry story this way, 'Kpegah and Akufo Addo face each other in court' other than what you did-'Ewes are at war with Akans...' My friend, if two legal brains are in court, does that mean Ewes are at war with Akans? You can rise above this mediocrity and use your brain beautifully instead of stoking tribal sentiments and worthless sensationalism.

You think anybody who didn't like your article didn't read it?
And you think your article was soooo well-written!!! Even the others you've been sending to ghanaweb are not particularly well written either.
Geez, you need to improve your own writing - not attempt to teach others.
You have written two books that nobody is buying on amazon.com where the are is no longer even available to buy. These days of cheap printing, anybody can publish a book. That means even you!!!
What kind of person goes about telling people that he is an "Investigative Journalist"? Tweaaaaa!

A little humility will do well on your part. You are not the only one who writes for ghanaweb. Don't forget that!!!

The one and only truth about creative writing is the ability to write about any subject matter, historical, factual events and or creation of one’s own figment of imagination so convincing as to make readers believe them to be true when they are not.
This, Mr. Owus-Ansah is the art of creative writing that comes from those with college/university credentials in creative writing. In essence they tend to be dangerous liars. A good review of 90% of the articles submitted and posted on ghanaweb, even more so by authors with a collection of college earned degrees are at the very least intellectually dishonest but mostly creative writing articles intended to be gobbled up by a majority of Ghanaian readers too far gone with tribal and political party induced thinking process they cannot have time for requisite human thought processing.

I read your first article, but refrained from commenting on it because you failed to achieve your 'purpose' of healing your perceived tribal rifts bedeviling our beloved motherland.
First, your title was ill-conceived and inherently biased against Ewes. Instead of conceding your error, you are brazenly defending it under the guise of creative journalism. Let's face facts: investigative journalism is not CREATIVE WRITING. It deals with incontrovertible facts, not sensationalism and tainted perception.
Second, your write-up was not totally objective. You categorized writers 'supporting' Kpegah as Ewes and NDC, and those 'sympathetizing' with Akuffo-Addo as Akan and NPP. However, you failed to acknowledge that writers from different tribal and party backgrounds could be found on both sides of the issue. Journalism 101: objectivity, fairness and balance.
Third, some of the writers you cited did not write anything remotely suggestive of promoting or supporting Kpegah or Afuffo-Addo because they {the writers} are Ewes, Akan, NDC, or NPP. An investigative journalist does not dabble in quixotic conjectures and projections.
Fourth, an investigative journalist does not insult or question the intelligence of those who take issue with some the half-truths s/he peddled. Facts are the bastion of factual write-ups, not insults no matter how well couched they may be.
Finally, I feel strongly that you mean well. However, you always end up shooting yourself in the foot. May be it is time for you to take a break to hone your investigative and writing skills.
Have a good day!
