He even sought to discredit the Statistical Survey of Ghana just to score cheap political points. But frankly,I am not surprised because the current crop of 'younsters' we have in this country,appear to lack personal scrupples;they will do just about anything to 'get ahead'.
He has unwittingly 'mortgaged' a promising professional career for fame and fortune which will never come to fruition. He is now tainted forever. As the saying goes,appearances can be deceiving!

With the benefit of hindsight, i'm not sure that either Bawumia or any other person from the NPP would've ever accepted to be star witness if they knew what they know now, thanks to the rigorous and salutary cross-examination styles of Tony Lthur and Idun-Quashie. For Bawumia, he must immediately seek a self-redemptive venture in order for him to buy back some credibility and be relevant politically if his heart is still in politics. But reading his body language during the past few days, i can clearly see how disappointed he feels in having taken the biggest gamble of his life to enter the witness box on behalf of his boss who stood to benefit the most but chose to cool off in the court room while Bawumia was being literally devoured by wolves. For sure, this case has drained Bamumia physically, emotionally and intellectually beyond redemption and i.m not sure he'll like to have anything doing with politics, at least for now. That paves the way for the powerful Asante/Akyem brokers in the Npp to get to work to get one of their own to replace a dour Akufo-Addo and justify the sidelining of Bawumia without much blame. Bawumia's fate was essentially brought upon him by his naivety in politics which was exploited for good or bad reasons, causing him to take his self-destruct action of defending power-hungry wolves who never respected him in the first place.

May be he thought he was on a political platform to massage the statistics. He could not even do a simple calculation in court. Not even a single question asked was answered by Bawumia.
