  Not until three things change in most African countries nothing will change and the exodus will continue.
  
  1)Higher education-higher education which is supposed to equip graduates with independent reasoning skills and problem solving skills currently does not exist in most African universities. And not until we have local people that are capable of solving local problems nothing will change.
  
  2)Visionary leaders -Not until we have selfless visionary and dedicated leaders that are willing to work tirelessly to propel us to a different level nothing will change. Currently most African leaders are vision-less, greedy and stupid.
  
  3)Expertise from Abroad-It took Chinese, Indian, South Korean, Malaysian etc Western educated and skilled people plus a visionary govt to propel their nations forward. However educated Africans will only be encouraged to come back home if conditions are right to some level.
  
  For now it will be extremely difficult to convince the average Joe to stay home if things continue this way.

  All Africans including blacks and even some White people see Africa as a natural home, but the conditions on the ground will put you off. Dare not say you will try and make a difference it is life and death issue. My advice to every Ghanaian is try and move out and when you do that try and study before trying to go back. The reason is simple the leaders send their children outside. You cannot be a guinea pig. When the colonialist tried to segregate our society we stood up against it. 50 000 GHc for MPs to rent a place, who do we think we are fooling?

It is good for us to stay and develop Africa but see the negative vibes on radio and TV and a lot of misrule and corruption on the ground.

  we will get there,if only we put aside any preconditions and face our problems headon.lets get beyond our petty silly differences and build a stronger foundation to gradually replace all those pre-inpendence politicians.

  This issue exemplifies the chicken or egg dilemma all over again. There is absolutely nothing wrong with being educated, working and living in the civilized western nations neither is there a shame in living where one can maximize their earning potential and or get their labours worth in compensation. The only thing wrong with these folks from the Diaspora is the lack of either intellectual honesty and or requisite thought processes needed from them to help move a developing nation into an emerging or developed nation status.
  If anyone from Africa or a third world nation can answer the simple question why there is no Democracy 3.0 since Democracy 2.0 (implemented by the United States of America) we will get to know the fountain of ideas and understanding of development and governance that has eluded us for so long.
  Here are two simple reasons why we find ourselves in our existing mess:
  People who do not want to work hard at solving problems but are content with routine chores are bound not to understand what it takes to govern and govern faithfully with prejudice. In all of Sub-Sahara African nations, there is not a single nation that cannot boast of members of the current and or previous ruling governments whose members were not fully credentialed with university degrees from the Diaspora. So why did those wonderful ideas they talk about and or pretend to know not pan out or trickle down to save their respective nations? It did not happen because the learned trick from everyone returning from the Diaspora is greed, money laundering and the art of justifying their contemptuous stealing. There is not one of our returning masters from the Diaspora who is not cannot justify their stealing and or selfishness. It is rather rare to find one of these returnees in any SSA country who does not believe that they should earn wages/salaries commiserate with their lifestyles they brought. And since these countries are not willing or incapable of giving, they will use their positions to steal, sell lands and anything government to subsidize their so-called standard of living they were accustomed to living. And should all else fail, they can return to those nations they hold citizenships. When the Christian Bible said that “a man cannot serve two masters" it was proverbial and literal. When people, usually from third world nations give up citizenship from their own birth nations, they have made the decision on what is more important. Coming home to lord over the unfortunate souls left behind is an exercise of their greed and contempt and not because of love of country. Which country do they love? There is no reason to work hard at solving problems when they know they have another country of citizenship to return. Americans and people of civilized nations do not run to other nations; they stay to make their nation better. In Africa we do run for the hills and pretend we understand why one system is better than the other when all literature reviews about our practices show we are incapable of devising methodologies or systems of our own. If an idea, practice or thought provoking pronouncement is not from our masters it is a no go. Did most Africans not say they hated socialism or communism? Why then do we kill to go to China, Rusian and other totalitarian nations to buy and sell in Africa? How are those evil commies enaged in develoments and we the "free-loving" creaturs not capable of developing under our so-called free societies? Is it because of communism or is it because we will use whatever it is to decry systems of governance that demand of us to work and or earn?

  I wonder why people sometimes write without really thinking about what they are saying. Why would anyone in their right mind leave the comfort of their overseas home and move back home? Have you fixed your water shortage problems? What about your electricity and health care. Speaking about health care there are no doctors at the moment to take care of the sick. Ambulances are use for the dead and the list goes on and on. What about corruption and filth? Take care of the country’s problem first.
