You have been too possessed and obsessed with TRIBE for far too long with nothing to show for it, I think you have a good potential to do more for society than the constant preaching of tribalism on Ghana web.

There is a good possibility that this story may not even be true but a make up of your own imagination.

Kwame, hate is dangerous and can potentially prevent you from realizing your own potential.

Ewes might not vote for the NPP as a whole and might disagree on how to resolve basic national issues likewise yourself and how you view the NDC as a party. Irrespective of how people decide on political issues in Ghana, the dream is always the same-a better nation for us all. We can do this without pledging the eternal doom of one other or deliberately doing all in our power to tarnishing the image of one another.

You cannot force any one to vote for your party either through physical violence or psychological violence, you can only do so through persuasion. It is not the responsibility of people to come to a political party, it is rather the responsibility of the party to reach out to the electorate irrespective of what it may take to do so.

If all Ghanians should be coerced to vote for only one political party then we will end up with a one party state, the very thing you abhor so much. It seems you particularly see Ewes as an impediment to your political dreams and happenings in Ghana hence your anger, pain, and hatred.

It also seems like your articles do not generate more that 6 comments unless your write something negative about Ewes..its becoming an opium.

Unfortunately as a PHD and a well learned man we would expect you to know better that democracy does not run this way, the way you want it. Everything takes time to get better.

Your stance might make some happy but may alienate some as well from the very purpose you are fighting for.

You know better Kwame. Stop this, this is far below your standard.

You will never know until the shoe is on your feet. Whatever be the case the road Okoampa have embarked upon is not the best and may simply worsen things. Deliberate attacks like this is in no way meant to bring people together but to widen the divide.

We do have a problem but such problems need better solutions from great minds.

PhD Ahuofi being an inimical divisive entity as you are, you rather saw Mr. Jakpasu the teacher who admonished you and your classmates to desist from incestuous behavior as a tribal jolt on Akans. Bare in mind this primitive behavior will never help you.
The little history you accounted of yourself clearly demonstrates the reason why you'er so ethnocentric by nature based on where and how you grew up.
Anytime you use that meat the Wanzam clipped for you, to be able to meet the female at ease, you should find moments to thank Daavi Arku and stop chastising your teacher who was only admonishing you and your classmates.

As kids , when kids cry, the mere mention of awonafour(ewe) atetenkrona will shut them up because they were reputed throat cutters for juju. Whenever ewes were in town especailly those carrying sacks, the chief would have an annoucement made that there were Awonas in town so people have to watch over their kids and fowls. These are realities. They may be prejudice but there is no smoke without fire.

First, the Akwamus did not overrun all Ewes well to the Nigerian border, as you claimed. They only held sway in Peki thanks to the co-operation of Peki, where you father came from and the Guan sister town of Anum-Boso. When Peki under Kwadwo Dei I left the Akwamu alliance in 1833, Akwamu was toast. It could not hold its grips on the area even with the support of mighty Asante and Anlo. Of course, by then, the Krepi area was receiving support from the Akyems, which brought your great grandfather to the area, and as you like to boast, his marrying the daughter of a Kwadwo Dei. The only home town you father knew was Peki!

Now, the historical event which saw the Akwamus marching with the Anlos to Whyddah in 1702 couldn't have happened without the Anlos inviting Akonnor, whom they supported during the period of the Akwamu succession dispute. They simply came to the help of friends (Anlo) to deal with the Ga-Anyi fugitives the Anlos helped to settle in Togo but who had become mercenaries for the Dahomeyans and started the slave trade in Eweland. It was their attack on Whyddah, kinsmen to the Anlos, being part of the migrating Dogboawo of which the Anlos and Whyddah form a part which settled in southern Togo, which led to Anlo asking for Akwamu assistance to repel the intruders. The Ga-anyis were fighting for Dahomey, so that it gains access to the sea. The Akwamus did not stay long, as they had to hurry back, as news had reached them that rebellion had started at their back. Akwamus and and Anlos never fought each other. That explains the cordial relations b/n the two groups during those turbulent days.

And the Akwamus did not have the might to defeat the Dahomeyans.

The fact that you lied about your age means that all your story above is a fiction about the said "Jakpasu Teacher" A class contain Akans, Ewes, etc..(I mean the present day or past); " It does not make sense that a teacher will come a class to preach tribalims simply because some made demeaning comments the latter's tribe, otherwise the school authorities "would" have taken disciplinary measures against him. So you see where the rub is, you are directly saying that the Ewes are inward-looking in indirect way. I had the previlege to attend school together with Akan brothers in the Volta region (Aflao Denu, Spaco) we see ourselves us brothers till date even here in Europe where I live, We see ourslves as one (Akans Ewes Dagombas etc) Why have you chosen to incite one tribe against other. Before the commencement of multi-party democracy in Ghana we voted massively in referendum including supporting the NPP (Ketu-south), unfortunately the NPP want us to believe that, there seems to be nobody reasonable enough to talk to this man to tone down make me doubt real intention of the NPP (Kwame Okoampa Ahoofe admitted in sevral articles being Executive committee Member of Npp).Of what benefit shall that be to us if we should engage ourselves in civil strife. Okoampa should know that Kofi Jakpasu is not a Mr as Okoampa would like the world to believe that he, Okoampa has done better in life than theteacher who taught him. Kofi Japkasu is Dr with a PhD acquired forma serious university with international repute.
Dr Jakpasu would go on to be a serious senior researcher for Ghana and then later continue also lecture in a proper university - KNUST- not a 3rd class community college.
Okoampa is an illiterate who went through the walls of one of those schools in the US. First time that a person supposed to be PERSCOBA has gone out to insult a respectable, decent and open-minded teacher of St Peter's.

CHRAJ Clerk remanded for incest

Kumasi (Ashanti Region) 05 June 2003 - A Kumasi circuit court has remanded Kofi Bediako, a clerk at the Ashanti secretariat of the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ), for incest resulting in the pregnancy of his 15-year-old daughter.

He pleaded not guilty to defilement and refusing to accept parental responsibility for a two-month-old baby boy delivered by his daughter.

He would re-appear on June 10. Chief Inspector Margaret Damalie told the court that in August last year the victim, who was attending school at Effiduase in the Sekyere East District, was sent home to collect school fees from her father.

Chief Inspector Damalie said Bediako lured her daughter into his room, sexually abused her and warned her not to tell anybody about it. The accused later convinced the victim to move from Effiduase to live in his apartment at Akorem in Kumasi where he continued flirting with the girl until she became pregnant.

The prosecution said the accused took her to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital where a pregnancy test showed positive. At the Hospital he lied to the medical staff that the victim was gang-raped and that the culprits had fled.

She said the victim's mother pleaded with the girl to mention who was responsible for the pregnancy but she refused until after delivery when she told her it was the father.

Chief Inspector Damalie said when Bediako was confronted he offered to pay ¢8m compensation to the victim and to show how serious he was he made a down payment of ¢4m. The court ordered that the four million cedis should be used to carry out a DNA test on the baby to determine its paternity.

A driver who constantly abused his 16 year-old daughter sexually despite cautions from relations was on Monday sentenced to six years imprisonment with hard labour by an Accra Circuit Court.

Robert Osie Agyemfra, charged with incest, pleaded guilty and was convicted accordingly.

Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Lawrence Gbele told the court, presided over by Mr C.A. Wilson that the victim lived with her father at Teshie in Accra and she slept in the sitting room while Agyemfra and victim’s stepmother slept in the bedroom.

During the later part of last year and early 2009 Agyemfra left the bedroom and had sex with the victim in the sitting room.

The prosecution said the victim became fed up with her father’s conduct and called her grandmother who lived in Tutu, Akwapim, on phone and reported the ordeal she had been going through.

Agyemfra was therefore invited to Tutu where he was cautioned to desist from that.

However, ASP Gbele said, the warning did not deter Agyemfra and he continued to abuse her daughter sexually.

The victim therefore reported the matter to her school authorities. A complaint was also lodged with the Police.

Father jailed 10 years for defiling his daughter
An Accra Circiut Court chaired by Mr Justice Kwadwo Owusu has sentenced Michael Addae, 34, an auto-electrician to 10 years' imprisonment with hard labour on his own plea for defiling his 16-year-old daughter.

Police Chief Inspector Theophilus Wilson told the court that Addae, lived at Agbogba in Accra together with his daughter from a previous marriage.

He brought the girl to live with him and his new wife after he had divorced the mother of girl.

Chief Inspector Wilson said the accused took advantage of the absence of his wife, who left the house very early for her trading activities to pester the victim for sex on several occasions and threatened to kill her if she revealed the incident to anybody.

On January 31 the Police, said the victim, who could not withstand the ordeal any longer reported the incident to her mother who lodged a complaint with the Police.

The Prosecutor said a medical report submitted to the Police on the victim indicated that she had intermittent vaginal discharge and bled due to the frequent defilement.

Police Chief Inspector Wilson said during interrogation, the accused admitted the offence and said he had earlier confessed his sins to the Pastor of his church, who asked him to fast for a week to seek atonement for his sins.

71-year-old remanded for raping grand daughter

Juaso (Ash), Feb. 24, GNA - The Juaso Circuit Court has remanded a 71 year-old farmer into prison custody for allegedly raping his 17 year-old grand daughter at Konongo.

Peter Kwaku Poku, whose plea was not taken, was initially charged with canal knowledge of the victim when he first appeared before the court, and had since been remanded on several occasions in connection with the case.

However, when he appeared in court on Monday, an advice from the Attorney General's Department preferred a charge of rape against him and will therefore re-appear before the court on March 9. Police Chief Inspector Stephen Opare, prosecuting, told the court presided over by Justice Jacob Boon, sitting as an additional circuit court judge that the victim was the grand daughter of the accused and they both lived in the same vicinity.

He said on February 17, last year Poku was in his room watching television when the victim entered to join him. Moments later, Poku dragged the victim onto his bed and forcibly had sex with her after which he cautioned her to remain silent. The victim however, informed her mother who took her to the police station where a medical form was issued for the victim to attend hospital.

The form was later returned to the police duly endorsed, and the police arrested the accused.Source:

The biological effects of incest is detected among even European and Arabic royals families because close relations enter into marriage and have children, which have some biological defects. It has been proved that that is the reason for low intelligence among the royals in those countries.
It is on record that some kings of the Roman Empire married their own sister with whom they had children and it is likely that that was also a case in China and some far eastern Asian countries.
One can not say that the natives North European countries, including Germany conquered the Roman Empire were more civilized than the Romans, meaning that not more intelligent than the Romans. One will also come to the conclusion that Chemical Ali was more intelligent and so is most Iraqis than their American counterparts, but the difference is that U.S. has weapons and allies in crime, which Iraq did not have.
We can not conclude also that inquisitors the Europeans who destroyed the Egyptian and Libyan Empires were more civilized than the latter.

I can see fire in your belly but you sound too angry and trivial to make any real impact.You're barking up the wrong tree if you think tantrums that cause vituperation will change foe to friend.How is your war against the "other " tribe germane to the solution of the socio-economic and political problems our nation is facing? There are many Ewe tribesmen just like you but what a divided nation needs are pacifists and unifiers.

You must also thank Kwabena Okwanin, your uncle for his cohabitation and coexistence with Daavi Arku. This goes a long way to explain that the Akans and the Ewes are never and will never be at war as you always describe and emphasize in your rather bogus and twisted stories. Ketu, the ancestral home of the Ewes, is in Benin formally Dahomey but not in Nigeria. The fact that Yoruba is widely spoken in Ketu does not mean that the town is situated in Nigeria.

PhD Ahuofi being an inimical divisive entity as you are, you rather saw Mr. Jakpasu the teacher who admonished you and your classmates to desist from incestuous behavior as a tribal jolt on Akans. Bear in mind this primitive behavior will never help you.
The little history you accounted of yourself clearly demonstrates the reason why you'er so ethnocentric by nature based on where and how you grew up.
