Yaw Ohemeng, you would have known by now that there were recording errors by some of the returning officers at some polling stations. In most cases these appear to have been petty mistakes due purely to human error. The petitioners are basing their case on these apparent discrepancies.
This is understandable and quite plausible for an election involving 26000 plus polling stations. These errors could easily have been avoided if the polling agents had been vigilant. Remember also that the electoral personnel had been working all day and in some cases for two days and were under severe pressure to get the results out quickly. So sheer fatigue would have been a factor in these errors. They also had to cope with all manner of problems not of their making eg late delivery of materials, verification machines not working etc.
It is, therefore, plausible that provisional results would have to be corrected following checks, recounts etc So it should not come as a surprise that published figures would be amended as the election results were declared.

One mistake, two mistakes, three mistakes??? Come on EC, this is way too much. I am waiting to see Afari Gyan step into the witness box for cross examination. Stealing without boundaries

This point was made abundantly clear to the petitioners in the answer provided in the response to the request for "further and better paticulars". Quarshie-Idun`s meticulous cross-examination of Bawumiah exposed the patent mischief he and his party, ably aided by their surrogates in the media, like Kweku Baako, had perpetrated on the Ghanaian public. Given the fluid nature of the voter register,I continue to be amazed by the degree of importance that some people have attached to this apparent administrative error made, and then subsequently admitted to by EC officials.

Human error does not only apply to number of people voting. The electoral officers as just as human as us all, and prone to the same human errors. It is always difficult to collate results collected nationwide, and it is for this reason, for instance, that it took so long to release the 2010 census results.
It is for this reason that provisional figures are given and amended before figures are finalised.
As for being partisan, I suspect we all are to a greater or lesser extent.

What a total let down!

This writer had struggled to rationalize some perceived difficulties in this elections. This time it is the voting figures and how they impact on the final results. The argument is that there were discrepancies in some of the figures mentioned by the ec and therefore there must be something wrong. If these doubts and reservations had been dispassionate he will have realized that they were due to human error as the proceeding in the SC is beginning to show.If your search is for the truth and not just blind partisanship, then you will see truth and how it happened from the evidence in court. One thing you have not mentioned though is that the registration figure of over 14 million was well over the over all votes cast of just over 11 million so you will struggle to justify your fears and assertions.

They should have just cancelled those stations with errors , as they cancelled Mrs Rawlings out from contesting due to errors in her forms. Nobody can be certain of the correct figures

How do you mean? Not all 14 million registered voters voted. You never get a 100% voter turnout in any election, Luc.
