  Respect is earned, not bestowed. If you are wee and cocaine smuggler, people will not respect you. They know of your criminal activities.

  Even when common sense rears its head with Dr. Okoampa-Ahoofe, he just can't help but make a mockery of what could have been an opportunity to redeem himself. Before Ghana's government can be encouraged to embark on expenditures not planned/budgeted for in future budget cycles, the government must first learn how to sustain those anticipated or promissory expenditures and or learn how to effectively collect and account for revenues due it. I know Dr. Okoampa-Ahoofe thinks pay structures in the US system can be extrapolated unto the Ghanaian pay structure but it’s not true, even for his thinking model or level.
