Have you thought maybe Bawumia gives the same answer because the NDC and EC lawyers keep asking the same question? Have you noticed these lawyers are not even asking questions about pink sheets that the NPP has submitted as part of their 11,138 bones of contention but rather are asking questions on pink sheets that the NPP has discarded as part of their election petition?

If you have a prepared set of answers for Bawumia to use, may be you can submit them to him or else shut up. If you ever had a decent bird's brain pass in Maths, you will have realized that ZERO too is a number and not a vacuum or blank. Adwee!! How could you have over looked the fact that the reason why the EC and NDC lawyers keep asking the same questions repetitively is to lay snarls for inconsistency in the answers Bawumia give? Invariably, you are saying a blank is not the same as zero, but Bawumia did the exact opposite of what you yourself believes in, he equated blank to zero.

Fortunately, that was the most grievous sin the Bawumia committed. Wherever there were blanks on the pinksheets, he put zero there and used the zeros for his calculations.

That was the reason why when Bawumia said those blanks on their exhibits were errors, Tsatsu kept asking him if there should be zero there.

Bawumia has not help the NPP's case by the way he inserted zeros into his pinksheets for the analysis.

But Bawumia did the exact opposite of what Oyokoba believes in. Bawumia equated blank to zero.

On exams like SAT where a studentis penalized by the deduction of a fraction of incorrect answers, students who leave the questions blank do not suffer this penalty. The blank set is not the same as the zero set. The first one is empty but the second has the real number zero in it.

This is an article devoid of legalism and based on common sense.If you want to win a case in court then it is important to be credible and not evasive because judges take into consideration these things when giving their judgments.For the ordinary man the demeanor of Bawunia may appear insignificant but what is coming across is that Bawumia is no more interested in the out come of this petition that is why he is careless with his answers. If your answers are coming out like a game of chess instead of the search for truth then you are in danger of delivering a grave blow to your case.

There was a moment l thought the case is judged in advance due to the persisting uphelding odjection of the Counsel for the petitioners during the first and second cross examination..l also came across all this your points but l wasn't too sure of my understanding but now l have to be proud of myself with just a simple city & guild intermediate certifcate holder to detect that silly tricks. The judges has to stop this case and spare ghana all this waste of time, money and energy and throw the case away.

Papa Appiah, I am in love with this your simple and logical reasoning.Yes, indeed, this case has made most of us who hitherto, knows nothing about how the law operates have come to know that, evidence, the concrete evidence is all what it takes to win a case.If I have the power, I wouldn´t allow this nonsense of Akufo Addo and his saboteurs to go on forver.I live in Europe and have an european lady who always vist this site to know about Ghana which she and I have visited and are still planning to visit. As a lawyer, she has been following this case very closely.Her word is that,"but for the sake of rule of law and a better democracy, this case should have been thrown out to safe cost, since the witness is a complete liar who shouldn´t be taken serious".
It is one thing calling oneself a genius,based on one´s field of specialiazation,but another altoether, excelling in another.This is the mising link in Bawumia´s evidence.Or is it youthful exobirant? I want to tell him that he and his NPP has no reason where 4 million votes would be thrown away by a competent court,in order for Akufo Addo to become president and he a vicepresident.It is amusing indeed! If Bawumia is anything to be taken seriously, at least his people in the north would have voted for him overwhelmingly.But what did we see? Not even his own mother and sister support him. What a bunch of fooooolish and daft idiots we have among us!

So NPP's case is on an assumption that though they had the same presidential election votes results like any other party that took part in it, yet they assume that planks in the results sheets were left purposely by the EC so that it together with NDC fill.
The absurdity in that assumption is that EC did not present any other result apart from what NPP and other parties that took part in the elections have.
So has the blanks been filled and announced later as the results apart from what Dr. Afari-Djan announced to the nation on 9th December, 2012?

The EC, Dr Afari Gyan, is a man of impeccable integrity. He has 20 years experience in running elections. He has run elections in which NPP or NDC have won. When NDC or NDC win, they do not talk about "irregulaties" in the elections but accept everything. By petitioning when they lose is a mark of hypocracy and we do not expect people who claim to "intellectuals" to be so dishonest.
