NAB also has a history of accreditation flaws.If you look at the staff at these mushroom universities, very few of them have advanced degrees. Mosre often than not, they tend to be headed by aging, retired professors who are there to just warm the bench. Interestingly enough, most of these colleges start programs in the medicical, business and engineering fields with labs that are not even equal to those in first class high schools in Ghana. Ghana is as guilty as Nigeria in setting up these mushroom glorified high schools.

  NAB says the rotten JHS cert is equivalent to the O'level whiles the controversial SHS cert is equivalent to the A'Level. They also say the Nigerian Certificate of Education(NCE) is higher than the HND in Ghana when in that country the NCE is an admission requirement for the HND. I know that in Nigeria and other parts of the world a person is allowed to pursue Post graduate Diploma(PGD) in a relevant field after HND but in Ghana NAB says no. They rather force HND graduates to start afresh from level 100 at the university. This is suppressing technical and professional education in favour of general education. Those who don't understand the wicked agenda of the NAB will always praise them but the truth is that NAB is bent on a secret agenda to kill technical, vocational and science education in Ghana and this is why we are not developing. This could be the reason why we import water from Benin, banana from Burkina Faso, tooth pick from China, etc. NAB should stop imposing university education on everybody. After so many years of actively promoting university education what have we achieved apart from paying huge judgement debts and exhibiting gross incompetency at the highest level. This how far our useless university education has brought us.
