How can a politician increase his salary more than 120% and everybody in the country cannot demonstrate for this greedy politicians to stop it?
They give themselves all these emoluments and people one will even think they will raise a finger keep quite as if they are hypnotized.
How do you keep electing these greedy people who have little empathy for their own people without accountability.
There came a time when we had a President who kept people at the Airport to inform him to come to the Airport if any foreign airline lands at the airport so that, he will rush and travel outside.
And yet nobody said anything, his tribesmen are the world supper power of insults so, if you say anything against what he was doing, his tribesmen will insult you for the whole year.
It's a pity until Ghanaians wake up and discipline these corrupt politicians we will eventually have a revolution again and this time many will surely die.

This Dagarti man called Joseph Ziem has some stuff in his skull and I agree with him hundred per cent. The Ghanaian population must be prepared for massive civil unrest if the trend continues.

the Fantis were mislead into believing ndc meant well and would continue the path of honesty and integrity set by mills . slowly eyes have been opened to see the reality of this hegemonic ayigbe selfish incompetent corrupt govt. from now on it will be each his own and ndc will never carry the day again in any of the Akan territories , only ppp cpp or npp will pass. the demographics of the country have changed and now the Fantis speaking people of western and central regions have the numbers to form their own state if pushed into war by these wish to dominate and buga buga oppress ewe led govt. it is not enough that they killed mills now they push further to put the people into poverty and misery hoping to break the spirit of the people as they have been trying to do since before kotoka. first it was the brain drain that took most of the intellectuals away to serve some pointless civil service that ignored their own people instead of decentralization, then the schools were opened to all except those that built and nurtured them in the first place. then came the period of deny any gainful employment so they were forced to emigrate to other lands. then all projects and industry that made logical sense including sustainability were placed elsewhere or not even processed. so today even the tradition industry the ordinary man could do to scratch a living are purposely being neglected or destroyed such as the fishing industry and the farming. we see all and say no more , long live the republic of Akan

How may people get emoluments so gargantuan that some of these greedy politicians dont even know what to do with such funds after only 4 years in Parliament.
Ghanaians must wake up from that mental slavery. How can people who can lie be overnight millioneer's in our society, being the politicians yet they don't care about the poor.
Now the politicians have become so greedy that they themselves are now contractors.
They award the contracts to themselves without bidding upon all the free cars the free fuel and the 4 years end of service stealing benefit.

Your gluttonous leaders just reflect what obtains in the wider society of Ghanaians.I ain't defending gluttony but lets be realistic, lets be pragmatic.Cumulatively, the millions of small acts of betraying our republic by rank and file Ghanaians costs our economy much more than the total pay of these gluttons. We'd rather pay a bribe than do the right thing to earn our place thru merit. We'd rather trash and block drains which eventually leads to our expensive rds crumbling and disintergrating. We'd rather trash an shit everywhere causing diseases that cost our economy much more in health costs and lost manhours. We care more about our pay than doing an excellent job that uplifts mother Ghana. We trade our goods all over the streets and pavements making our cities chaotic, crowded and unhealthy enough to scare off picky tourists .Collectively we hunger more at consuming wealth than creating it which tells you why we're still 3rd world after 57yrs.Tis the same reason our MP's are quicker at earning ex gratia than making Ghana workable.Yes,our MP's are greedy but we need to see things that ail the wider society which also makes this unfortunate gluttonous culture acceptable in the halls of power.

There must be an immediate establishment of a bureau of criminal investigations. Independent of it's findings and should have no affiliation to any regime. Must have the Power and the mandate to arrest, charge and persecute any person of interest or any politician, under the law of the land without favor. The problem in Ghana is,sadly it is a country not ruled by law. No respect for the laws upon which the nation was founded. liberty, Equal rights, Freedom and justice for all. Shame on you, all members of the various parties and members of the Government. How could you stoop so low, pay yourselves rent allowances? Wow! what about those that voted you into office? Pay them with gold or leave them to fend themselves at the mercy of God? Is there justlication, why you should not be put into monkey house for looting the nation funds? These can only happen in Ghana. It's unbelievable that politicians in ghana could not afford to pay rent out of their own pocket. What on earth is happening? It is naked stealing and very shameful. Whatever term used to qualify it, would not change the fact that it is still stealing. It is disheartenig to know that the only poessible reason they could do this, is lack of virtues and shame. Is politics about amassing wealth at the expence of the people or what? What are you politicians thinking, that you are so special not to pay utility bills and what have you because you are a public elected official? God have mercy. We are watching from a distance but time will tell.

Because of this block headed behavior why won't the politicians enslave the people?
