When asked to present "further and better particulars" they shifted to 11,842. In the dock their chief witness Bawumia tells the world that they have presented duplicates, triplicates and quadruplicates, "but only one was used in the analysis". When cornered he openly admits in an open court that "we are no longer using all the evidence sworn in our affidavit" meaning the number of pink sheets they now rely on has mysteriously reduced by some 700 pink sheets. And here is one of their kind saying "The number of 11,782 pink sheets is not the answer...." What a party!

What credibility? Your credibility or what you have been hearing from Tsatsu and his followers? Get this into your brain for once; Bawumia is not on the stand as a criminal for the murder he committed or raping any woman or man, but rather to challenge an election. Yes, he is there because of numbers because numbers are important> But why should they use numbers to discredit him but refuse to use the same number to discredit Afari-Gyan? Do you see your illogical nonsense here?

It would be stupid on the judges to think that "numbers matter" and throw away the case while refusing to use the same logic and reasoning- numbers matter- not to take a serious look into over 200,000 votes in a general election.

If anything at all, it is the fault of the the judges for the case to reach at this stage, because, the re-count has been asked from the beginning of the trial but just as they stupidly allowed Tsatsu to use uncouth words at the trial, they refused to allow the recount till now because we all know that Atubuga two nostrils are somewhere at Tsatsu's back-side .

They just need to re-count the pink sheets and find the right count and tabulate there and see how many over-votes or under-votes happened> Had they done that, we would not have spent 15 days talking about pinks- but because you guys are Africans and careless about time, you are still stuck in your neutral gear and behaving like idiots and illiterates talking about pink sheets for

It cannot be done electronically as this would involve scanning the documents, storing it on a file and then checking electronically. Once you do this, you are no longer checking a source document, but a secondary document i.e the scanned copies.

The Judges don't a situation whereby NDC will blame them for not counting the pink sheets, but truly speaking counting of pink sheets does no one good.It doesn't change the petitioners case, because they are not in Court for pink sheets excess or shortage. Their case has already confirmed by the same lawyers who claimed there were not over voting, malpractices, double serial numbers.Now confirming that all the mentioned practices happened at Nana Akofo Addo strongholds. I don't get why the Supreme Court wasting time to do the recount of pink sheets if the said mentioned did happened. NDC think they can steal the election and prevent the opposition to find the truth like they did to the late president Mills death where they refused to do the investigation. You do not understand law. The logic expressed in the article is so simple. Whether the number of counts is lower, higher or equal you are in trouble. So long us there are duplicates and triplicates....

By arguing this way you have ignored the questions to be determined before the court. The court only needs one sample of each violation, irregularity or malpractice to answer the first question. For the second, it would have to audit all 26,002 pink sheets that the EC has in its custody. The SC, in fairness to all parties, cannot restrict the audit to only the pink sheets submitted by the NPP. All the NPP were doing was to answer the two questions the best they could, within the available time.

Now is it really true that the Respondents do not know the polling stations involved? Following the court order for the Petitioners to supply further and better particulars, they listed all those polling stations with codings of the alleged irregularities. They can, as we speak, be found on the Peace FM website. Per the Court’s earlier ruling, all the parties should have copies of the pink sheets and that is why the court rejected the application by the Petitioners for the EC to submit its own copy of the sheets. So what is this about the Petitioners wanting to deceive the Court and the Respondents not receiving copies of the pink sheets?

What the NDC wants to do is to replicate the Ama Martin cocaine-turned-baking-soda scenario. Don’t forget that the Lawyer involved in that case was Senanu, also associated with the current petition on the NDC side. They have probably illegally taken some of the exhibits and hope for the audit to discredit the Petitioners. This ploy could rather be putting the Court Registry under pressure rather than the Petitioners.

First, the Petitioners have backed up all the pink sheets on CD-ROMS, which the court has in its possession. Secondly, the Court order for the audit asked for specific information – polling station name and code, violation or irregularity the pink sheet supports, and the exhibit number, if given on the face of the sheet. This last bit is the important one. Unless the sheets illegally taken were sequential, any gaps in the exhibit numbering would expose the fact that some have been stolen from the Registry. But as I say that will not be the end of the matter.

All I have heard from the evidence presented so far is a list of mistakes made by Presiding officers relating to the filling in of the pink sheets. Instead of sticking to one infringement the NPP seems to have tried to consider multiple infringements and this has led to duplication of pink sheets that fall into several categories, leading to all this confusion.
I am still waiting to see if the same mistakes were made in the NPP strongholds and what effect that will have on the outcome of this case.

It is illegal to have more votes than the total number of voters or ballot papers issued at a polling station; it is illegal to vote without biometric verification; and it is unconstitutional for results not to be signed by a presiding officer or his assistant.

You may have several complaints from your agents and supporters but without concrete evidence, the case can be thrown out. Fortunately, in this case, the case is suported by the pink sheets.

There is no double counting whatsoever except that you can find multiple irregularities on some pink sheets. Hence you can have one pink sheet supporting exclusive cases of different violations.

If you are good at using spread sheets, take Bawumia's affidavit and you can unravel everything. I have done that and his numbers are spot on.

In the court of law, the standard used to determine guilt is the objective test.That means common sense.Translated by what the ordinary man can determine to be acceptable.I believe even the little boy on the street will find your definitions laughable and completely unacceptable.

You might call this as errors if you have 100 of such mistakes in 26000 polling stations but when it is in thousands, such errors becomes somebody scheme to change the numbers in somebody's favour.

Ndc and the EC were caught on camera doing the count at Kwabenya constituency in Accra where MAHAMA was wrongly credited with 5000 plus votes.

Remember that it is up to NPP to prove their allegations to the SC by providing evidence.

If their evidence is riddled with mistakes, it cannot stand up to scrutiny. Moreover, the defence asserts that the petitioners are trying to deceive the court by padding up the pink sheets to make up 11852. The count is to ascertain whether this is true.

If true, Bawumia has lied to the court and risks a charge of perjury. More importantly, the case could be thrown out forthwith.

Instead your definition of over voting which mean a blank means over voting,a figure not clearly visible because its not been well carbonated and mistakes with arithmetics have all been declared over voting by your definition. This is incredible definition of over voting and Bawumia himself could hardly justify that other than that it is a way of hiding over voting through the back door.The courts work on hard facts but not deductions of convenience.The test used by the court is reasonableness.Is your definition reasonable by any ordinary standard,I don't think so.

You are perhaps yet to understand that the entire NPP claims or allegations in court are hinged on errors made by the EC.
For instance, NPP has presented about 10,000 pink sheets out of the 11,840 pink sheets for the court to invalidate only because these pink sheets have their serial numbers duplicated. The claim by NPP in this issue is that the EC is supposed to ensure that pink sheet serial numbers are not duplicated. But you also need to understand that normally Pink sheet serial number duplication should not affect the results of one candidate against the other and therefore should not affect the results declared by the EC.
In this case, one can draw a parallel with Bawumia's claim in court that even though some exhibit numbers have been duplicated, they do not affect his analysis(results).
So NDC is trying hard to prove to the court that mistakes made by the Ec may not necessarily affect the result in the same manner that Bawumia has stated a million times in court that his duplications do not affect the results.
I hope my little explanation will help you understand Tsatsu's logic and intelligence that many NPP followers are yet to understand and keep castigating him for no good reason.
Bawumia makes a point in court that the duplicated pink sheets are highly correlated to the other errors. But this argument is highly myopic. In the first instance, it is only speculative and thus has no stand in law. Secondly, if you have 10,000 duplicated pink sheet serial numbers against a total of 11,840 pinkshhets or even 24,000 pink sheets, you can expect nothing but a high correlation
Sometimes you need to think outside the box and refuse to be intellectually dishonest.
