    It is all about bigmanism.Having a certificate for many is about being self important.So, some will cheat to have one.It is a relic of colonialism.

    I read GhanaWeb a lot and I've noted how many contributors have PHDs after their names.As far I am concerned it is quality of the article that defines the writer and not the Degree itself.So please save us your PHDs.

    Dear Sir/Madam, in Ghana, the simple truth as my uncle told me is that you are paid for what you know and not what you do. We'll kill for certificates if this thinking doesn't change.

    LOSERS. Get certificates. Why r u acting like its not important to study. The certificate is just an indication of what u have studied. It is not a panacea to success in life. But do we say Schooling should stop?

    Hello Ziem, I suggest you stick to what you know. Your piece is enlightening but you should have done a lot more research. This would have helped eliminate some of the half-truths.
