In my opinion and in the opinion of many, whatever a party member said, whether in writing or verbal, has no relevance to the issue of vote election rigging or election malpractices. That aside Atuguba should have recused himself after the appointment. This is what happens in all democratic and civilised countries. The NPP should know that majority of Ghanaians know that they have a genuine and credible case and are behind them but they should have protested the appointment of Atuguba whose partiality is being made manifest. He is the best possible candidate to be bribed by NDC and so must be watched because they want to use any foul means to remain in power to cover whatever they have looted.

You did not understand this article. I know Justice Atuguba is the presiding Judge and do really have to control the proceedings in court. If Atuguba has done what he did to his co panelist to Tsatsu or Addison, I would not have had any issue with him.

What he did to that lady Judge was chauvinistic. He should have realised he was talking to somebody his equal who carries one vote like him Atuguba. Even if the Judge was wrong, cutting her off and telling Tsatsu to continue was uncivilized.

He should have called a short recess to talk to the Lady Judge in private that Tsatsu has the right to ask such question and then come to court and tell Tsatsu to continue, that is how matured and any intelligent person would have done. I don't think Atuguba would have done it to one of his male colleagues.

Are you telling me you don't have people in NDC with Sarpong name or Akan name? Who is Akrasi Sarpong? Stop being a primitive bigot, will you?

You see this behavior of NPP in general will never win you any election in Ghana again unless you stop this condescending nature of yours to the same people you want to vote for you to win.

You lose nothing if you'er polite to people. You lose nothing if you talk to people who don't agree with you with courtesy.

Most politicians in Ghana are just not welding guns and breaking peoples houses but they'er armed robbers big time and I don't need to elaborate. You only wasting your time supporting these good for nothing politicians.

I was very surprise to hear him also saying "shut up" to the petitioners counsel and in my opinion i think he should know better. This case is being observed by the whole world and i think his judgement will attract a lot of criticism and therefore he should pick his words with respect and not to humiliate others.

Isn't it obvious that any time Adison raises an objection to tsikata's line of questioning and atuguba also has issues on bawumias style of answering and the judges go for a recess to access whether the objection raised by Adison be over ruled or sustained, the judges come back sustaining Adisons objection? Whilst the whole world sees the irrelevance of tsatsu's questions only atuguba hails this style. Atuguba should know, that he is not the epitome of knowledge when it comes to the law. Yes! he could be the lAW LORD at this moment, but there are people who are younger than him in this noble profession who are in-tuned with current laws and their relevance to any subject matter. What is it? There are about 7 or 9 justices there but consistently, he shows his NDC colours at the least opportunity, YET when the whole team have to agree on something, they show the real meaning of the law and vote correctly on issue. I keep saying, that the way things have gone so far, if a ruling will have to be given today, it will definetly go against the NDC and the evidence will be overwhelmingly clear against them when both Aseidu Nketia and Afari Ghyan come under the scrutiny of Adison, Akoto Ampaw, Frank Davies and Egbert Faibille respectively. At the end of it all, the best thing to happen to save the faces of John Mahama and the NDC, will be to call for a re-run. Question is, what legacy will the NDC be campaigning on? the DUM-SOR dUMSOR or water crises, security crisis, kantamanto wahala oe what? only time will tell.

If Bawumia denies personal knowledge, then that gives Tsatsu grounds to call those witnesses. The other Justices saw through that crap as those letters and affidavits are not relevant to the Petitioners claims. Atuguba saw the window closing and that is why he snapped at the other Justice, Addison and Bawumia. Atuguba's partisanship has allowed Tsatsu to get away with murder in the courtroom and this is rather unfortunate.

Very firm and strict but his posture at the bench as far as Tsatsu' cross-examination is concerned leaves much to be desired. One of the Judges commented on Gabby's article posted on the net the other day when Gabby described them as being 'timid' and said these are unsavory on the part of the citizens, but I bet you that particular Judge would have seen by now that Atubiga's conduct at the bench elicited that description by Gabby. Atubiga should rather bring his mind to his own bench that he is chairing and stop that PR for Tsatsu and his constant over ruling of Philip Addison

Tsatsu Tsikata asked Bawumia specific question and closed it with a either 'true' or 'false' expected answer-range yet Bawumia, a so-called WITNESS responded with an open-ended one. So you wonder whether Bawumia's mind is in the courtroom as witness or on a rally podium. If you don't want to answer specific questions, you don't go testifying in specific pleadings in Ghana's supreme court

Sorry Pal, you got it all wrong, the case does not sit only on lap but the whole nine Judges. It is the nine Judges who will finally vote to decide whether Mahama continue as the President or not and not only Atuguba. Each of them has one vote including Atuguba so don't get yourself confused. The other eight Judges are not there for their asthetic beauty but they are there to make their views heard too.

Justice Atuguba is the presiding Judge and do really have to control the proceedings in court. If Atuguba has done what he did to his co panelist to Tsatsu or Addison, I would not have had any issue with him.

What he did to that lady Judge was chauvinistic. He should have realised he was talking to somebody his equal who carries one vote like him Atuguba. Even if the Judge was wrong, cutting her off and telling Tsatsu to continue was uncivilized.

He should have called a short recess to talk to the Lady Judge in private that Tsatsu has the right to ask such question and then come to court and tell Tsatsu to continue, that is how matured and any intelligent person would have done. I don't think Atuguba would have done it to one of his male colleagues.

But Atuguba, consistent with his attitude appears to want the proceedings to flow with less interruptions, that maybe explains his prompt admonishment without resorting to the quiet rebuke you talked about
