You see, the lead Counsel for the Petitioners, Phillip Addison, did NOT object to the cross examination of the three witness, but rather stressed that in order for that to proceed, the respondents must first tender the Documents in Court otherwise it would go against the Rules of Introducing Surprised Evidence thus resulting in further delays.
Now if that were to be crucial to the respondents, then why did they FAIL to agree to the request from Phillip Addison??
I find all these to be an orchestrated attempt by the Respondents' Counsel to cause further delays which Tsatsu Tsikata is well known for.
Remember, NPP Team were initially forced to disclose almost all their Evidence to their Opponents which they reluctantly acceded to.
Unfortunately the writer of the Article may NOT understand that the enactment would help avoid a longdrawn Legal stoush.

But they themselves did not follow the same law. The law says if you have any objections fill the complaint form but since they did not follow the laid down procedure, they have no bases for going to court!!!! Please tell Tsastu for me.

How can you go to court with only documents from your opponents strong hold and wish that they become annulled when you know perfectly that all those things you are complaining about also happened at your strong hold too. If you were that good as critic and doer you would not have being a laborer in another mans land. Sometimes they lie that it is racism but they forgot that when your GPA is 3.4 as a foreigner you cannot be hired comparatively with a born citizen who has the same GPA. You need to be above and beyond and therefore your ability reside in another country do not guarantee an audience even if what you are saying is an exhibition of ignorance. For is not you American Visa, Green Card or Citizen that grant you knowledge but your ability to prove what you have learnt as applicable is what count. Please don’t show your ignorance. I am Ghanaian professional leaving overseas and have been in court as an expert witness in my chosen field few times. If by labourer you mean working for a leaving then I am a labourer. Even the bank manager is a labourer. I leave in a country that a train driver became the leader and he was one of the finest leaders this country had had.
Even if one is a “labourer” according to you definition that does not mean he/she can not think. Ghana will go forward if will put aside elitism.

The matter the lead counsels for the respondents sought to cross examine witnesses was unnecessary. This because the witnesses stated facts or something that happened. Those facts could be established in different ways . These are: either through the results from those polling stations that the EC officially declared and reported, through EC's affidavit/s or through EC's witness/es (either giving evidence in chief or through cross examination by the petitioners' lead counsel or lead counsels for the first and third respondents).
I did not listen to all the argument of Tsatsu for the application but did listen to Mr Addison's objection. He made references to responses to those matters by the second respondent (EC) and actually read certain sections from the second respondent's affidavit/s. It was obvious that those matters were sufficiently addressed by the second respondent in the affidavit/s.
I would have been surprised, if not shocked, had the SC overruled the objection.
Can we put away our political hats and deal with facts and not propaganda.

As I understand it, the judges deferred the cross-examination to a later stage, rather than refuse it completely.
