The writer is afraid of the CD-ROM and doesn't want the justices to review it. I believe the NDC lawyers have already done so and found a mountain of concrete evidence against them. Therefore, they don't want the justices to review the CD-ROM.
According to the NPP analysis and counting, the pink sheets are about 11 thousand, and an accounting firm is hired by the supreme court to make sure that the pink sheets are up to that number. They are reviewing the analysis and account of the petitioners.
So, what prevents the Supreme Court justices to review the CD-ROM presented by the petitioners explaining in detail how the thief was caught? There is no difference between reviewing the number of pink sheets presented and reviewing the CD-ROM.

The writer is referring to what pertains in law and not her wishes. You probably should refer us to examples in any jurisprudence where a personal analysis of a situation other than hard core evidence is used in court to determine a case. The petitioners have hard evidence in the "pink sheets" and the individuals at the polling stations to testify to their claims. And that is why the respondents are cornering the petitioners to what pertains in law and not someone considers as his analysis.

Dr Pig Shit Bawumia must first of all know that he has to justify his selection the basis for his selection of those polling stations and the court must first accept that yes there were clear evidence of rigging or irregularity that warrants an annulment before they now have a next step of doing any calculations to see how many votes or which polling stations votes must be annulled if any at all. I feel sorry when those with titles like Dr, Professor this and that start talking like kids in a school debate on very critical issues whiles in a witness box that is widely covered on TV. There is a lot of waste of time and this case should not have been accepted by the Supreme Court but referred to a fact finding Committee well composed to see the merit in the complaints made. From the proceedings so far one could clearly see that the petition is a "foolish case" and should be thrown out of court. Yes the administrative errors or omissions or lapses could be identified to let there be less of it in the subsequent elections. No one rigged this 2012 elections and loosers must go home and re-strategize for 2016.

Where lies the sincerity in the NPP petition. If the idea is to ensure a free and fair verdict during the polls why have they left out the thousands and thousands of polling stations where Nana Addo won and which also have the same alleged malpractices and irregularities but just narrowed down on polling stations where Mahama won? Thisis where the sincerity and credibility of the Petioners has suffered a severe damage even though they are thinking that all this trial is limited to the pink sheets they have brought to court. The judges are looking at the elections in Ghana as a whole and not only certain skewedly selected parts of the country. If the petitioners are really seeking justice for all Ghanaians then they have woefully failed in their biased selection of the polling stations they have presented to the court to make their case. The judges might have already seen through their insincerity, and biased presentation of their case. So the so called analysis that Bawumia is shouting about does not have any grounds in this trial. The NPP lost the elections and are just heading for a second most disgraceful defeat. No wonder they have started holding forums trying to agitate the youth to make noise knowing very well the big defeat ahead.

Hey listen I love your piece. Look I don't care the hood who wins the election case in the supreme court, but I have been following it keenly with so much interest. Look here I am a statistic wiz, with expertise in S complex statistical package. My favorite pass time is to conduct predictive modeling and Bayesian simulations. I can use data from the election to beautiful show what Dr. Bawumia is trying to show. But the more I listen to him, the more I keep picturing which justices of the supreme court will really want to sit and sleep through or see this data being run in the name of analysis.
Give me a break.I agree, look beautiful analysis with graphs showing irregularities means nothing. It further excites me to see people like sir John getting extremely excited about the analysis Dr. Bawumia keep referring to.
The maxim in any research is that, what ever data you have, when you subject it to serious torture, it will yield good results that only favors you and no one else. Ever wonder why they are quick to say the p-value is less than 0.005? is it because the only good job they do is torture the data to force the p-value to be significant.
So his analysis is nothing new under the sun but a complete balderdash

Why would anybody want to go beyond simply tallying the votes cast in plain view of everybody? You see these 'bad losers, have conveniently forgotten that the NPP engaged the EC in a running debate as to whether or not their 'vigilantes',locals as well as those who trooped in from abroad, could remain at polling stns. to 'monitor' the count. In fact this is what transpired at virtually all polling stations across the country!
so this idea of dangling correlation numbers relating to coefficients can only be used to bamboozle those not familiar with these statistical tools!

I do not fully agree with Nakua on this.
Lets remember that Bawumia is not just an ordinary witness but is also a rep of the Petitioners arguing their case in court.
The court is to determine whether there were any irregularities and secondly whether the irregularities affected the results announced by EC. I think the second determination is where Bawumia's analysis may be relevant. The analysis is a summary of the pink sheet evidence to show how the alleged irregularities affect the results. It could does be considered by the court.
However, the problem with the so called analysis is that it was not tendered in court as part of the evidence and that is the problem. You will find Bawumia at the point of begging Tastsu to consider the analysis but the latter simply ignores him. Also Tony Lithur was telling Bawumia that he has had his day.
One is not sure why NPP did not consider submitting the analysis as part of the evidence but an intelligent guess is that NPP decided to shroud their evidence in a bit of secrecy inorder to confuse the Respondents and perhaps the SC judges. It has however turned out to be a problem for them at this stage.
In any case the analysis is full of gabbage. That is about 7,000 to 10,000 pink sheets added on the basis of duplicated serial numbers.
It also has a large number of pink sheets added for lack of Presiding Officers signatures, another weak argument. The basis of definition of over-voting is equally weak and will be thrown out by Afari Djan when he mounts the witness box, since Bawumia admits he was not there but Afari Gyan was technically there to confirm what happened. The same can be said of alleged non-biometric voting. It is a weak argument, and a lot of it will be thrown out by Afari Djan
That leaves a holly analysis to deals with and thus not worthy of the courts consideration.
It is true that self styled analysis are not evidence and it is also true that our electoral process is in dire need of looking at again as revealled by self styled analysis os evidence
