That the Asantehene advocates for more involvement of chiefs in politics says it all...that he's so far removed the feelings and experiences of folks on the street . And the thinking on the street of these chiefs have been more a curse than blessing. Many of them have been common criminals in the ways that they carve out and sell parcels of lands with no regards to proper planning and the future generations of their own people.
If the truth be told, in my opinion, Ghana will NEVER see real development until the institute of chieftancy is done away with,
Anyway , has the Asantehene dealt with the mountain of problems in his own backyard?
