Our Petitioners were rather rude and so it required a certain Genius at Law, Tsatsu Tsikata to cross examine a certain radical called Bawumia who was glued on his seat telling lies all of the time.

And the lead counsel of the Kukrudites, Addison, a student of Tsatsu who was behaving like a sore loser deserved the 'shut up' as he kept confusing himself each time he got up.

WITH REGARDS TO HIS LEGAL PEDIGREE, I BELIEVE EVEN THE UNLETTERED CAN EASILY DECIFER FROM THE COURT PROCEEDINGS THAT TSATSU IS NO LEGAL LUMINARY AFTER ALL.CLEARLY TSATSU STRUGGLED WITH HIS X-EXAMINATION, HE LOOKED CONFUSED AT TIMES AND LACKED FOCUS THROUGH OUT THE TIME.HE HAD TO BE REMINDED FROM TIME TO TIME THAT SOME OF THE ISSUES HE WAS RAISING BELONGED TO HIS ADDRESS RATHER THAN X-EXAMINATION.HE PERSISTENTLY ASKED UNNECESSARY QUESTIONS THEREBY UNDERMINING THE PURPOSE OF HIS OWN X-EXAMINATON.SOME OF US ARE NOT SURPRISED THOUGH BECAUSE EVEN PRESIDENT MAHAMA CHOSE TO USE TONY LITHUR INSTEAD OF TSATSU FOR A CASE OF SUCH MAGNITUDE AND THAT IN ITSELF UNDERSCORES THE FACT THAT EVEN WITHIN THE NDC, SOME DO NOT VIEW HIM AS A LAWYER WITH ANY SERIOUS PEDIGREE.IN FACT EVEN FORMER PRESIDENT RAWLINGS REFUSED TO APPOINT TSATSU TO ANY LEGAL POSITION THROUGH OUT THE PNDC/NDC DAYS.
TSATSU ACTUALLY WASTED ALL HIS TIME AT GNPC SEARCHING FOR OIL THAT HE NEVER FOUND AND NOW HE IS PAYING FOR IT DEARLY BY HIS POOR SHOWING EVEN IN A SIMPLE PROCESS AS X-EXAMINATION.
2.TSATSU'S PERSONA TYPIFIES A PERSON FULL OF ANGER,AND A STRONG DESIRE FOR RETRIBUTION.NO WONDER DURING THE PNDC DAYS, HE MADE THEM PASS THE LAW OF WILLFULLY CAUSING FINANCIAL LOSS TO THE STATE WITH THE SOLE AIM OF PINNING DOWN SOME PERCIEVED ENEMIES OF THE REVOLUTION WHO WERE WELL TO DO BUSINESS MEN. LITTLE DID HE KNOW THAT FATE WOULD MAKE HIM HAVE A DOSE OF HIS OWN VENOM.
HE THROUGH OUT HIS X-EXAMINATION HAS SHOWN TOTAL DISRESPECT TO COLLEAGUE LAWYERS AND EVEN MEMBERS OF THE BENCH.
TSATSU IS JUST FILLED WITH HIMSELF AND HAS A STRONG DESIRE TO BE SEEN AS IINTELLIGENT TO THE POINT THAT WHEN HE AND HIS LAWYER HAD INTIAL SUCCESS IN HIS CRIMINAL CASE, TSATSU FAILED TO GIVE CREDIT TO HIS OWN LAWYER, THE LEARNED PROF. E.V.O. DANKWA AND MADE IT SEEM AS IF HE DEFENDED HIMSELF IN COURT. WHAT A SHAME.
TSATSU MUST LEARN TO RESPECT OTHERS LIKE BAWUMIA WHO ARE MORE INTELLIGENT THAN HIM. HE MUST REALISE THAT HAVING A FIRST CLASS IS ONE THING AND BEING ABLE TO TRANSLATE THAT INTO PRACTICE IS ANOTHER LEVEL.
HIS LOW LEVEL OF EMOTIONAL STABILITY AND LEGAL ACUMEN HAVE NOW BEEN EXPOSED FOR ALL GHANAIANS TO KNOW THE REAL TSATSU.

I agree with you that Tsatsu's abuse in court was unacceptable and unprofessional and he should have been made to withdraw and apologise.

I however do not share your views on his performance though his repetitive and open ended questioning style were unproductive. On the whole, he did a good job. I do not blame him for the challenges he faced because he did the work for which Counsel for the second respondent should have done. He is also not a practising attorney but more of an academic lawyer. In addition to that, Dr Bawumia was a formidable witness but over all, his performance was what I expected. Perhaps, some of you expected miracles from him. Sadly, there are no miracles in courts.

Well, I give you the benefit of the doubt because you mentioned you are not a lawyer. So why even comment and make it seem like you know something. How many court proceedings have you attended in England? If Addison can consistently keep breaking into Tsatsu trend of thought during cross-examination, and doesn't have the decency to let him finish a sentence before he raises his objection, and addresses the judges NOT Tsatsu, then he was simply being rude, arrogant and disrespectful. There are many tricks, some may call it skills in advocating before court and the only antidote left for Tsatsu, about Addison's behaviour was to likewise be rude, arrogant, and direspectful to Addison. It worked! that's the only reason Addison stopped breaking into Tsatsu's trend of thought. Tribalism has blinded Ghanaians so much so that they do not know what they have until the lose it. This Tsatsu guy is a great lawyer. HE KNOWS THE LAW period! You can write whatever you like, onlookers outside Ghanaians have an biased opinion !!! Your Nana Akufo is destroying your party that's why you will lose more votes in 2016 no matter how hard you try!!!

Biased maybe, but true it is.The man wrote it as it vividly should be. The Tsikata we heard of was a fairy tale. The real Tsikata is showing up to us now. What we're witnessing and seeing tells it all.

Why all this rabid hatred for the humble Tsatsu??? Most of us know what he did at the court!! You can judge him well without showing your hidden hatred for his tribe. On another occasion he Addison and the Presiding judge of the Supreme Court were almost quarreling. Don't you know some of these NPP lawyers who are attempting breaking even, were all taught by Tsatsu. If not because of the nature of legalities and its arrangements of decency, where and how will some of these toothless JSS lawyers operate within the same perimeters with their legal luminary of no mean repute in person of Tsatsu Tsikata.

You cannt just repoet one sided story here. You remember the Presiding Judge of the Supreme Court one day acknowledge the heckling and unnecessary raising of objections to the very difficult questions that Tsatsu was posing to Dr. Bawumiah in order to get to the bottom of why the duplication and quadruplication of the Pink sheets before the court of law!!!! Without Tsatsu's probing questions, Dr. Bawumiah would never have accepted the mistakes and calling it "mislabelling", a good joke here. If NPP did not use it in the analysis more than once, why was it so important that the pink sheets should be doubled in the first place.
There are anger situations created by the "angels" in your diatribe, but which of these people who are provocateurs in a wild goose chase, behave politely rather. Under our norms and in the law courts, you keep quiet till someone talking finishes. But what do we see of this Addison!
Justice Atuguba has warned him not to dictate to him either!! You see that behaviour??? Why are you blind to Addison's demeanour and want to judge your political opponent for!! We are all seeing what is hapopening there in the court. No one can run empty comments which will defy our collective judgement of the proceedings going on there!! You are being unfair to Tsatsu!! Shame!!!
