From the statistics and history of presidential elections in Ghana, Any Political Party which wins the presidential elections also gets majority votes and representatives of MP's so it is in this trend logical that the NPP lost to the NDC.

Nanas unite the people but Nana Addo has divided the nation in his ambition to become president. Well tell me he could have won only 2 regions, NPP becoming a minority in parliament, and still emerge president and rule by veto!! NDC has majority and makes since that they won the elections in spite of the so called mistakes. And to think we will have mistakes free election anytime any where is an illusion.We are imperfect beings and will make errors. Show me a country on earth where elections have been so smooth!

Really, at times, I read an article and become very surprised of the conception and perception of the author.
Is this Razak Opoku, knowledgeable, enlightened and educated?
Why should I ask this question?
The essence of asking this question is that, this Razak Opoku( General Secretary) as he deems himself to be, is comparing 'oranges with aples' and does not know the main difference between the Presidential and the Cabinet or Parliamentary systems of governance.
And I quote:
"..The NDC clearly outnumbered the NPP in terms of Parliamentary Members and we all know that Parliamentary results have significant effects on the presidential election results, sohow can Nana Addo win the 2012 general elections with minority representation in Parliament? This is practically impossible from common sense point of view..."
Gross Ignorance, wasting people's Time and Media Space with this useless and senseless article!
If this Razak Opoku is not showing his gross ignorance and gullibility, he should have known that one of the main ADVANTAGES of the PRESIDENTIAL system over the CABINET system of government, is the idea that:
"I like the candidature of the Member of Parliament for this Constituency, but I do not like the candidature of the Presidency"
and as such,
it is rational and feasible for the Members of Parliament of a losing party to outnumber the members of parliament of the winning or the President's party.
A case in clear view, for example, is what is happening now in The United States of America, USA, where the Republicans, the party which lost the elections is in the majority in The House of Representatives, but President Barrack Obama , the winning party, is from the Democratic Party.
People should learn to;

What Akuffo Addo and the NPP petitioners are doing is strengthening democracy. What did you expect them to do if they had reasons and evidence to believe there were widespread anomalies in the conduct of the 2012 elections? Take to the streets like other African countries do? We're supposed to be living in a country of law and order and the constitution gives aggrieved individuals/parties the opportunity to seek redress in court. What else could be better than using constitutional means to address grievances, you sicko ?
