In view of the "corruption" in the operations at the Ghana Youth Employment and Entrepreneurial Agency (GYEEDA), isn't it an open secret that high profile entrepreneurs team up with government officials (mostly their former classmates and/or closed linked tribesmen and political sponsors) to rape Ghana daily? Isn’t it yet another open secret that Ghanaian politicians hold private business under pseudonyms in order to, contrary to our constitution, offer themselves lucrative State contracts?
CORRUPTION COURTS IN GH
WE NEED CORRUPTION COURTS IN GH.
THOSE IN THE PUBLIC SECTOR WHO HAVE BEEN CHARGED WITH CORRUPTION BY THE POLICE/STATE WILL BE TRIED THERE.
MALAYSIA HAS A SIMILAR CONCEPT AND IT IS REAPING REWARDS.
ARREST THESE FOOLS, JAIL THEM UNTIL A HEAVY BOND/BAIL IS PAID. GATHER THE EVIDENCE AND TAKE THEM TO COURT. PUT YOUR FUCKING FOOT DOWN! CONFISCATE THEIR ASSETS AND PAY OFF THESE MISMANAGED PROJECTS WITH THE PROCEEDS FROM THE PUBLIC AUCTION.
THEN JAIL AND PUBLISH THEIR NAMES IN THE MEDIA. NAME AND SHAME THEM. NKWASIAFOUR! NOT UNDER MY WATCH!
AHA NA WO B3 DA!
the pressing immediate problems confronting the countRY GHANA ARE - GALAMSAY EVERYWHERE, no electricity, no water, rife in corruption, high incompetence levels, etc.
At the moment JOHN MAHAMA has NOT articulated any vision for the country and his governance. Ghanaians don't know what he stands for except his mere promises and lies.
For sustainable socio-economic development Ghana needs ACCOUNTABLE GOVERNANCE not mere promises without action as characterised BY MAHAMA'S "leadership".

In Ghana it's impossible for a poor man to enter politics because the campaigns are cash intensive. It's only those who have attained the ghana standardized middle class status and above who can venture into politics. For most of these aspiring politicians the cash rewards seem to be the only motivation for their decision to jump on to the politics gravy train to serve their nation. As soon as they're on board the first business is to recoup every dime they spent on their campaign which generally involves bribing people to vote for them. Some of them boost their chances of election by obtaining loans. Now how would anybody in his right mind obtain a loan to serve his nation if he has no fore knowledge of how to pay back the loan with interest in the shortest possible time? About 99.9% of all these office seekers have just one strategy, what I will call reverse Robin Hood in mind. They will rob from the poor and reward themselves with the booty.
The solution to this culture of greed and corruption is the immediate passage of the Freedom of Information Bill into law. We, the people should not accept a watered down version of a bill whose sole purpose is maintaining the status quo.If we desire the dawning of a new day in the way we do politics in Ghana than we must demand that the legislature put the FOIB on a fast track and make sure it passed into law by the end of the third quarter. Much of our future viability depends on the passage of this landmark bill and we should no longer countenance any further delay.
