don't you hink you are exagerating your assessment of the outcome of the lelection and everything that has happened since? As far as we know, it is ONY NPP supporters who were "shocked" about the NDC and Mahama's victory, and sure enough it is they who are in court seeking to overturn the result.

What is shocking about that is the mere fat that we are in court trying to resolve the outcome of the presidential election and not the entire ballot including the parliamentary which after all followed the same process of voting (and over-voting if you like). And what has justice Kpegah got to do with it?

What is in bad faith are the blatant lies and evasiveness of Dr Bawumiah, the "witness-in-chief" for the petitioners.

Why don't you spare us the trouble and simply leave us in peace to follow proceedings and stop wasting our time with such intellectually week and clearly politically biased depositions?

I got to this paragraph and decided not to read on any further.

"Their accusations have included dishonesty, bad faith, disingenuousness, criminality and even pure insults. Already, at the inception of Tsatsu’s celebrated cross-examination, NDC communicators have been accusing Nana, Jake and Bawumia of criminality in the gathering of evidence or in the preparation of Court papers."

The petitioners have amended their petition upteen times and dropped the allegations of electoral fraud which so excited them to embark on this litigation in the first place and which also incited their supporters to go on the rampage. It was the level headedness of the sensible people which prevented the incidence of civil strife and CONFLICT. Even then journalist were beaten and an NDC supoorter was killed. Did anyone avenge that atrocity?

The accusations of criminality is what the NPP alleged. Even the Daily Guide had a cartoon of the Electoral Commissioner on a toilet bowl with a mobile phone in hand confessing that he had accepted millions of dollars to rig the elections.

Bad faith because, they alleged fraud in the first instance, dropped those allegations and now found irregularities.
Bad faith because, the irregularities conveniently did not include pink sheets from their strong holds.
BAD FAITH because they only "came across" 24,000 pink sheets and not 26,002 and want a declaration based on a sample not the entirety!!

Insults? The NPP Communications Directorate has lost its way. Owusu Afriyie, Kofi Juma, Sammy Awuku and Buabeng are the chief "insulters" if ever there is such a word.

God has redeemed us from drug peddlars and opportunists.

This is a great and thoughtful article. I wish Justice Atuguba will read it. The NDC rigged the elections but forgot to erase their trail. That God.....biometric verification has saved Ghana from crooks!
