Even the conclusion of his cross examination was a farce. He played a tape where the witness is heard saying "no verification" and he wants us to believe he meant "no biometric verification". The witness on the tape clearly defined over voting as ballots cast exceeding the number of registered voters. What exactly was Addison's coup de grace?

1. The parties agreed to only biometric verification, if not why were the machines purchased?
2.Why did some polling stations postpone votings cos the biometric machines broke down?
3. Why were some people denied their voting right cos the machines broke down? Such people couldn't exercise their constitutional right.
4. Some people were also allowed to vote with biometric verification.
Now you see the inconsistencies? Keep shifting goal post.

According to Nyaho Tamakloe, Akuffo Addo and Jake endorsed Owusu Afriyie when he called the election in favour of the NPP and asked people to wear white apparrels to attend church. At that time, biometric or not they thought they were on a winning streak. If they had been declared winners they would not have come to court to say please "undeclared" us winners because some people voted without biometric verification or that some pink sheets were unsigned by the Presiding officer.
In answer to your question, the polling agents are not exalted observers. The opportunity is given to them to refuse to sign as indeed some refused to. But when they sign the forms they attest to the validilty of the votes cast.

Yes you may be right depending on the informatio that you had in relation to the election. Listen in my area some voters wanted to disrupt the voting bcos they alleged they are being prevented by machines.
1 Yes all parties agreed to biometric verification, and of course that was why the machines were bought--The major problem was that they could not visualize the difficulties that could arise with the use of the machines, and that is why many unexpected things happened.
As the voting proceeded, people started worrying with many expressing frustration that it is their constitutional right to vote therefore machines could not prevent them from voting though their IDS showed that they were the right owners. Here is a situation that you know yourself as you and machine is telling you not to vote because it says it can not verify your finger as you.
It was choatic at some polling stations, this tensive mood permitted some polling stations to allow people to vote without biometric verifications which meant that the representatives of the parties decided to let it happened that way because they were aware of people they know personally that the machines rejected.
2 Some polling stations postponed, because the tension was so great that that was the decision they came to after the machine had been replaced, and found out that it was late and that all voters could not cast their vote that very day hence the postponement.
3 Many went through what I had explained to you due to the faulty machines, but any how they were helped to vote the next day when it was realised that everybody has to be given the right to vote, because people started expressing anger of the biometric verification machine, a situation that all party reps. cooperated to find solution within the less than 48 hours of the election.
4 Yes initially the formular is that every person has to vote with the biometric verification.
Personally there were no inconsistencies. The major problem is that with the situation of the machines, all the party heads involved should have BOLDLY hold press conference to decide with every concerned institutions to come out with the real concrete steps to take when the machines started developing the bigger problem than had been speculated.
The NPP thought they could easily win so they showed less concern about situation that was going on with the machines until they realised things were not on their side, then came defeat, and then we all see what is happening now. Ask yourself, an intelligent question as to why is it that there were NPP reps., and why did not they protest at the earlier time at their polling stations when they did understand the situation with the faulty machines.
At this point you can understand why some of the big wigs of the party are upset with the petition. By the way, it does not mean there should not be petition.

I think he(Addison)realized he would be better off if he truncated his lack-lustre cross-examination before The General turned the tables on him. And did anybody notice who was playing the role of AV technician?
I could hardly restrain myself from laughing aloud when I saw a fully-garbed attorney take over the operation of the AV equipment in the SC.

Most of us believed them from the begining only to see Bawumia telling tales in the box.
