nPP as a group of people who claimed to be of rule of law deliberately misunderstood biometric registration and verification. The aim of this was to ensure that only registered voters voted only once. It was never intended to prevent legally registered voters from voting. If it did, then it amended our constitution by default. So nPP should rather be telling the court how unregistered people voted and also how some registered voters voted more than once.

The writer has stated intellectual facts. It is remarkably shameful that Dr Afari Djan who trumpeted expected answer to the delight of his counsel that "nowhere in Ghana has it been shown that over-voting occurred" reversed his statement during a cross examination the next day to admit that over-voting occured in at least fifty one polling stations - a number significant enough to raise alarm.
It is a fallacious testimony of an electoral Commissioner who declares presidential winner not to know the total number of registered voters - a fallacy to which the unthinking mind is prone.
It is now safe to conclude that we are in deep trouble as a nation.
The entire country of Ghana must be brain dead to accept this embarrassing display of incompetence before a worldwide televised audience. What will be more embarrassing is the outcome of all this. Watching the proceedings one can safely anticipate the final ruling by this 5-4 kangaroo court headed by Atuguba. It is no secret that Atuguba has been helpful to the respondents throughout his stewardship of the proceedings. Maybe as a relative of the first respondent he should have excused himself for conflict of interest to save the nation.

Prof, it appears either you have not been following the case in court or pretending not to know what is happening in court. When it comes to the serial numbers on the ballot papers, what Dr Afari-Gyan said is that, they dot play the roles assigned to them by the petitioners' key witness and second petitioner, Dr Bawumia. Instead, and from what happened in court yesterday, when lead counsel for petitioners almost succeeded in making Afari Gyan admit to over-voting on the face pink of the sheet but fortunately exposed by one of the Justices, the serial numbers could be used to calculate the number of ballot papers issued at a polling station.
For example, in that particular pink sheet, petitioners'lead counsel claimed that the total number of votes was 250 and far above the number of registered voters for that polling station. Though the zero had been crossed out making actual total vote on the face of the pink sheet as 25 which could be ascertained from the serial numbers (as done by the Justice), the whole team of petitioners lawyers could not do so and almost got away with murder by tricking Afari-Gyan to admit to over voting on the face of the pink sheet, when in reality there was not over voting from the face of that pink sheet.
Prof, this case will not be won by manufacturing and falsification of evidence by either party. Try and and use your analytical skills as a professor instead of a fanatic or political fundamentalist.
You should read Prof Sarfo's article today "Issues in Election Law and Policy". Very stimulating and educative and stop your political pandering not deserving of a professor.

Anyway, I thought you were still engaged in the scummy business of helping Mr. Kpegah "expose" Nana Akufo-Addo for legal licentiate fraud? What happened, poor boy?
I have asked you not to waste my time; I know far more about law, media and constitutional and familial, than living on the outskirts of the village-campus of Cambridge University could equip you.

Once again, Prof, you exposed you abject bigotry by opening your response to Mr. Ata's comment with that ethnic slur against Ewes you have helped stick on this forum. That is a big shame!
You know as well as I do that if we were to dwell solely on ethnic differences to pull a win for your Uncle's bid to be a President, that goal would not materialize your lifetime. So, why persist in pursuing this ignominious tact?
What if Mr. Ata were not an original Akan as you alluded to? Does that affect the essence of his comment rejecting your premise in your article? I wish you would not repeat your blatant tribalism-laced blasting of all who oppose your views that helped drive many away from supporting and voting for NPP.
You are not helping your Uncle's cause with these insults. When I last visited Ghana and met with some of my relatives who share ancestry with me through my great, great grandfather, Nana Akosah, this issue of accentuated tribal animosity in Ghana, and on the Net, especially, was pointed out in our conversation by them as the main reason Your Uncle Akufo-Addo lost both in 2008 and 2012.

For your information, I write my name with one "T" instead of double ("TT") because my twin brother is deceased. It's a message of my sigleton. For me, it does not matter where I come from. Yes, I am Akan but above all, I am Ghanaian first.
Did you understand my articles on the allegations by Kpegah against Nana Akufo Addo? I was the one who confirmed that Nana Akufo Addo was called to the English Bar. I even put in the public domain the Middle Temple publication of his call on ModernGhan.com in support of Nana Akufo Addo and if you want a copy I will send you one . You call that support for Kpegah?
What a shame, your late mother was a twin? Do not put twins to shame. You can do better since your mother was a twin. I regret we seem to have lots in common (ST Peter's and now a twin mother). What next, in a relationship with one of my cousins in US? I will be mad?
Have a nice weekend.
Why do you bring in Cambridge University when I have said time and time again that I have nothing to do with the university?

All the claims raised in this article is without respect for the facts. The fact is Afari Gyan in direct reply to a question tersely said the SC should deny the petitioners the reliefs they are seeking. Is that a semblance of passion? You claim there was overvoting in relation to the register, Afari Gyan disproves that by producing the register. Then you go on to claim that there was overvoting in relation to the ballots issued by just 1, Afari Gyan's says I agree with you in principle but like he said he would subject such pink sheet to close scrutiny and cross checks before reaching that conclusion before people genuine votes are in there. Is that to hard to analyse?
