Everybody in Ghana is going academic. As a country we don't even know the difference between education and training. Many people in are educated but not trained. This is how far our useless universities have brought us.

Many solid ideas here!
One only hopes the universities are paying attention, particularly with respect to the inter-disciplinary education and training requirements for students and workers. That calls for the stand-up of collaborative consortia, among other enabling mechanisms.
For the government, it is important to recognize that Oil and Gas production, by whatever name, is not sustainable in the long-term, even if you have trained workers. Companies can relocate, but we can't relocate Ghana. Besides, its a long road to controlling the oil and gas market.
Therefore, government policy ought to seek to balance investments in oil and gas with investments in appropriate sustainable technologies, including solar and biomass.
There is a scenario where you could in practical terms export carbon/oil/gas to those who need it, and utilize solar/biomass and other low-cost practical energy technologies at "home".
Call that a sustainable energy vision for Ghana.
