I looks like this writer has completely deviated from the heading of his own article(does Ghana require increase electricity tariffs).Tariff increments may be necessary but only after VRA has restructured its revenue collection process.Where is the moral right of anyone who asks the ordinary Ghanaian to pay more while the government and its ministries owes millions in payments?.This is one issue that Ghanaians should understand and resist until the government settles its own arreas, and thereafter continue to pay in time.

There is NO expertise in Ghana when it comes to wind turbines.
And unrealistic statements about unknown, yet famous Ghanian inventors, who can beat the combined engineers of this world hands down do not really help the cause of wind power use, nor does the phantasy of reducing tidal waves, which have their origin thousand miles out in the ocean !
Let us face the facts:
Ghana is too corrupt and too-known to ever make significant use of renewables , the wind lobby doesn't pay bribes like the thermal or nuclear power generation lobby too !
