  The strange looking blue elephants are work.They said it,they promised to make the country unstable,to make life at the Flag Staff House tortuous and they are it.Fortunately,the whole world has seen through them and have snubbed them.The foreign investors have decided to keep faith in the NDC government and therefore pump their money into our economy regardless of the saboteurs.Every blind man knows who these arsonists are,they claim to have the nation at heart and are the best to lead the nation,but at a blink of an eye they resort to set the nation on fire.The movers and shakers of the global economy have rejected the NPP,the NDC is more accepted globally to lead Ghana.NPP was given the opportunity but messed up badly.The movers and shakers does not trust the blue elephant,as there are tons of criminal elements among them.Leading security intelligence agents globally are aware of what the blue elephant is capable of,when given the opportunity,therefore they have put a lid on them till they reform.The NPP is not TRUSTED globally,the party is a risk with too many crooks.Money laundering,drug trafficking,abuse of power,white collar theft and wide spread corruption compounded with sheer arrogance has made the party unpopular to those who matters.To make matters worse,they have now become arsonists by profession.

  I will blame our parliamentarians first for not making strict safety laws and regulations.There are 3 main causes of fire:human activities can cause fire by accident or intentional,climate can also do and the last one is technical fault.As we are talking about market places it will be reasonable to look into human and technical faults.Parliament must pass laws and regulations concerning fire safety.How to use fire in the market and how to prevent fire outbreak in the market places.We have types and categories of preventive regulations that our parliament can address easily in consultation with fire service,police and civil engineers.Coming to technical faults,parliament can again pass laws that will recommend only qualfied electricians to work in special public areas like schools,hospitals,commercial centres etc.We can have different regulations and laws depending on the categories.For example hospital in Europe is under "U type" where special building materials are required.I can use "fire resistance doors" as an example.You cannot build a hospital here in Europe without these doors.You cannot build a very big super market without "sprinkler"system etc.We cannot stop fire outbreaks entirely but we must put in laws to prevent them at least.Ofcourse,there are pyromanias everywhere,some people find it amazing when they set a place ablaze which may often not be political but sickness.Thank you.

  Is it not strange that all the recent fire outbreaks are coming or happening in one constituency? Could there be any reason or link between responses to Sodom and Gomorrah,Kanta and Makola Mall and Makola#1 or 2? Has the City authorities secured funding to build the other places or only Kanta? Does this give any clue to the fact that some people are perceived to be strangers in that community? Does this serve the plan to put some people out of business so that we can empower our tribesmen or party members? Don't forget some people were prevented from registering for the Dec. 2012 elections for the simple reason that they do not come from a particular location.How I wished my party leader and my president could have kept quiet and have done the investigations swiftly to have reached the bottom of the case. Well I wish the outcome of the investigations would be made public.Tear gas were used on others while others were promised with help. That is Ghana for you.

Our Ministry of Foreign Affairs was razed down by fire in 2009. Have you seen the investigative report and have the lessons been shared with Ghanaians? No because we always prefer window dressing instead of solving problems.
  
  I am glad you mentioned the UK. Have you also heard of the Great Fire of London? Maybe not. But this singular event led to the adoption of fire safety measures for all construction in the UK. What have we incorporated into how we lay out and operate public places from the numerous investigations we have instituted?
  
  Fire engineering is based on common sensical approaches. There is always a risk of fire when ignition sources and fuel (i.e. items that can sustain a fire) are brought together. Go to our markets and you see evidence of these everywhere. Flimsy and second hand electrical fittings and appliances. Coupled that with irregular power supply, voltage surges and stalls packed roof high with wares and you have the occurrence of these rampant fires.
  
  Kiosks have been on fire but they do not have the inventory to sustain the sort of fires that occur in markets.
  
  If you are close to people in authority, advice them on: embarking on education, introduction of legislation and enforcement on the use of suitable and appropriate fittings and appliances and the separation of ignition sources from inventory and we may begin to see a drop in these occurrences.

  Recovering of Accra is heavily dialogized and ideologized and there is tons of money in it, so discussions tend to veer off into dogma.
  We are now going through a period of demolition. In morals, in social life, in politics, in medicine, and in religion there is a universal upturning of foundations.
  Any honest examination of the natural life proves how far we are from the standard of human freedom with which we began. The recovery of this standard demands of everyone who loves Ghana a hard look at himself, for the greatest achievements must begin somewhere, and they always begin with the person. If we are not capable of this examination, we may yet become one of the most distinguished and monumental failures in the history of Ghana.
