The MoFA arson was caused by NPP politicians who worked there and conspired to torch documentation that should have pointed to the mismanagement that transpired there. Ghana passports were intentionally processed and sold to bandits outside the country under the very nose of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the very shallow guy hurtling to be our president by force.
Had Mills acted avidly to prevent those who worked at the MoFA accessing their offices immediately he won the presidential elections the offices wouldn't burn.
We all know these current fires by NPP. Don't lie to anybody.

You are those few who use the Uniform for self-aggrandizement, personal caprice and big ego (Ghana-type ID) and undermine the code of conduct of others. Should I believe you don't know the rules of conduct or standards of the USMC?
To finish, straight "shipshape" marines respect their uniform, and I can tell apart clean-as-pin officers from those parading on internet forums pounding chests.

All you know is insults. you must be wise and realistic, in my own house i have had more than two attempts of burning which could have resulted in conflagration as a result of 'dum so dum so' sudden power outages when we forgot to switch off all items, a possibility in most of these crowded places.
You can imagin what happens when POWER is restored at night when all have retired home.

Do you know that if one room has papers clothes, plastics and other highly combustible materials but the adjoining room is a kitchen with the stove and very hot appliances close to partitioning wall the heat from the kitchen can radiate through the wall and ignite the combustible materials in the adjoining room? One of the main problems facing Ghanaians is our propensity to assign political witch-hunt and cronyism to every measure the government takes to ensure livable conditions in Ghana. Even if it's feasible that the Fire Service could conduct fire audits and enforce fire codes in all the major markets and public places, Ghanaians would start accusing the ruling party(be it NDC or NPP)of being insensitive and callous to the plight of the "poor". Most of these markets and streets-turned-markets surely need decongestion exercises. However, judging from the prevailing political intolerance,finger-pointing, and political opportunism among our greedy politicians, the question is: who will bell the cat?

Pyromania is an impulse control disorder[1] in which individuals repeatedly fail to resist impulses to deliberately start fires,[1] in order to relieve tension, for gratification or relief. The term pyromania comes from the Greek word ??? ('pyr', fire). Pyromania and pyromaniacs are distinct from arson, the pursuit of personal, monetary or political gain. It is multiple deliberate and purposeful fire setting rather than accidental.
Perhaps someone is setting the fires?
See definition below:
[2] Pyromaniacs start fires to induce euphoria, and often fixate on institutions of fire control like fire stations and firefighters. Pyromania is a type of impulse control disorder, along with kleptomania, compulsive gambling, trichotillomania and others.

The man who was in charge of the Ministry of Interior when the Ya Na was murdered together with his elders was himself buried last week.
I am of the view that good people of Ghana will not stop at nothing bu accusing the NPP for the fire outbreaks at the major markets and even those of the Lands Department and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Let us remember some of the criminal acts that happened during the NPP regime from 2001 to 7th January 2009.
The killers of Ghana's former Vice President, Mr. Ekow Nkensen Akaah still remain at large. The Ya Na and his elders were also killed in 2002 and some elements in NPP together with some in the judiciary beat their chest and tell us that the killers shall never be brought to justice. After many years of trial the killers of Issa Mobola of which one is still on the run were finally sentenced some prison terms for his murder. The killers of Roko still remain at large and that murder also took place during NPP regime.
It is on record that even former President Jerry John Rawlings during his time as Chairman of the PNDC and later under the NDC brought to trial even friends of his who have been involved in murder and other criminal acts.
It is on record that members of the NDC unlike the NPP do not subvert the state during investigations and trial of their members who are involved in serious crimes as the latter does.
There was a similar situation from 1958 and it was until when Kwame Nkrumah call for the arrest and preventive detention of some leaders of the opposition that the bombing activities against mainly children stopped and those elements were from the United Party.

For to translate all you have written will require change in culture and attitude, pertaining to the social economic fabric of the country. Education, education and more education, under legislative guidance and periodic maintenance checks, that might involve the condemnation of some installation not commensurate to wiring installation,
However your article has brought out some useful responses.
Well Done
