  Nuhu, thanks for this information. I want to say for a fact that this practice at Asanti Akyem is common. Most of the district electoral officers are as corrupt as hell. They even prepare ghost names and claim huge monies from the commission without training the hired agents who run the election. They do all kinds of dirty things. A case in point is the Kwaebibirem district electoral officer and his secretary together they prepare ghost names and present it to the commission and share the booty. They should be arrested and investigated by the police asap.

It has become a business venture for these officers of the EC and they see this act as a right.An attempt to stop or report it is what nobody sees to be necessary.They must be an investigation on this matter to bring these criminals to book.

  Aku Bonsu you are right. CORRUPTION AT THE DISTRICT OFFICE OF THE EC IS WIDE SPREAD. In Ghana we are always covering up corrupt officers, this is why we are still backward. This will never happen in Europe.

Institutions have become family properties this is Thievery at the highest order . Is amazing to note that the most patriotic people of this Country are the unemployed. We can't continue to entertain these unpatriotic people and Mr. Appia-gyei and sydicates must be jailed for this dirty Act.

  Nuhu should go to to Kade at Kwaeibibrem district of the EC and he would again publish a similar story. What prevails at KADE is even worse than asante akyem.
