  Armed robbers can seize a highway for several hours, rob and kill inocent travellers, and escape free without any police patrol intervention. Basic policing ethics is lacking in Ghana. Police busy using duty vehicles to chase girl friends in town intead of monitoring highways.

  The Police revealed the identity of their informants to the criminals.Ironically they also refused to pay the reward money that was promised the informants.

  Percentage of the booty finds its way to the various regional commanders and the national headquarters. The police administration CANNOT deny it is aware of this canker festering amongs it's personnel. The bane of the problem is that the integrity of the various commanders have been compromised and they now lack self respect, they can no longer with credibilty stump their feet on these immoral disease that had engulfed their institution.
