Religious society has always been strong and always forestalls creeping permissiveness.

The term "Globalization" was coined to describe the new economic reality brought on by the digital age; whereby business can be conducted in non-local terms and markets break isolation barriers. Globalization has nothing to do with the rise of the gay movement. Discard the erroneous view that tourism is an example of globalization. Tourism has absolutely nothing to do with globalization, just in case you're thinking along those lines and injecting the gay equation in it.

That by no means indicate Plato was deriving some form of hints about faggot love.

Sincere honest people who had lived all of their life in Alabama and they KNEW that blacks were inferior and they KNEW their history and church teachings and traditions would NEVER accept that pressure from outsider Yankees to change their minds.

I'm not saying the author is not well meaning - just that he is ignorant and needs to travel to one of those western cultures and actually meet some gay people so that he knows what he is talking about, rather than just repeating what his local culture has taught him.
