It is a moot point that all the observers local and international endorsed the elections as free and fair overall, as well as the results.

I agree with Adofo Rockson. The CHRAJ report is no more relevant than the reports of the other observers. They reported what they saw on the day. The Petition is uncovering what they did not see. That is why the law, in its wisdom, allows twenty one days after the publication of the election result for a Petition to be submitted.

The petition is not uncovering anything.
Why should it take the petitioners 21 days to uncover any irregularities in the elections? The parties had several opportunities to raise any complaints at the poll before the results were collated and declared. NPP alone raised concerns but were enable to provide sufficient evidence. If they could not do so then, why now? How come the NPP alone of all the parties claimed to see wrongdoing at the polls?
As regards coverage of the elections by observers, they covered enough of the constituencies and polling stations to be able to form a sound judgment on the elections. Each of the observer groups, CHRAJ, African Union, European Union, CODESA, ECOWAS and Commonwealth covered a different representative sample of constituencies and polling stations, some as many as 2000 polling stations. They also obtained information from other constituencies.
We must also note that voting and counting of ballots was done in public view with ballot papers being shown to all present. The results at polling stations were checked and signed by polling agents of the parties before collation. There were checks and rechecks at every level of collation. The party agents in the EC strongroom signed the results before they were presented to the EC.
There were enough checks and balance to ensure that the results were fair.

This is serious cuz these same ministers are killing and raping the nation. Mahama, please do something.

Even God would not let NPP defame this honorable man's legacy- "whom God has blessed, no man can curse"!

It's quite funny to read articles like this because we know the corner in which it is coming from. Elections are held in Ghana since the First Republic but why do we behave as if it's only in 2012 that Ghana has started conducting Elections? I believe Akuffo Addo should have headed on the Street for the Election dispute and by He would have been dead and Ghana will be peaceful by now but it doesn't border either for him going Court because truth is only one and lies keep changing as what Akuffo Addo and his Compatriots are doing. For you Adofo,I would not blame you but watch your thoughts.

what seems difficult for some of us to understand is the issue of people not understanding the basics about reading and understanding. The crux of this CHRAJ reportage is that; it is as relevant today as it was the day of its first publication. In fact if we Ghanaians are not hypocrites, we would not have been wasting manhours, material and human resources in the supreme court. Look at even the NPP party stalwarts like Kwame pianim, Dr.Wereko Brobbey and others who did not see the need for the NPP going to court, but tey could not have said it bluntly, but slightly. Even Dr. wereko B; who dared a bit further is under all kinds o threats now. The CHRAJ eport is not different from the JOY FM reportage prior to and after te announcement of the results. What are we talking about? What even disturbs me is why should NPP accept the parliamentary reslts and refuse t accept the presidential's? When we all know that we vote mainly on party lines in Ghana.

It saddens me to know that Ghana's most free and fair election yet ( I mean no recordation of up 160% voter turnouts in any constituency, not even 100% to my knowledge), has been denigrated into a farce because of hidden agenda by a small group of Ghanaians who wishes to impose their will on the people by "any means necessary", and impose an old man who believes he was born to rule on Ghanaians by force- even if an overwhelming 300,000 persons, comprising probably of all tribes and political affiliations who just do not like Akuffo Addo's "all-die-be-die" posture, yet, he will go through great lengths to try and get legitimate votes annulled? NO WAY!
Is Ghana back in the coup days?
Personally, I think Akuffo Addo brought this petition after woefully losing that election because he saw what a state burial looked like in Ghana for the first time, and won't stop until he gets one!...This is the root of all the manipulation and machination going on! Akufo Addo does not care to drop dead, even a minute after being sworn in, as long as he gets THAT CERTAIN burial style!
