My name has undergone alot of changes and metamorphosis too. Every one in my family spells Addae diffirently. Some spell it, Adei, Addai, Addae, Addei and sometimes when I feel patriotic, I add Kojo as my middle name. By the way I used to spell Kojo "Kwadwo". I did not see the importance of my the structure and spelling of my name until I came to the US. I learnt later from my sister that my parent given name is John Kwadwo Amponsah and the Paul Kwadwo Addae I used to bear is my own given name. By court order the Kwadwo is changed to Kojo now. Despite it all, I know who I am. Nothing changes the fact that documentation in Ghana is not a serious matter and people can add or subtract names, letters from the name structure at will.

Yet in Ghana the man was allowed to practice law,became a politician and a Government minister,got close to becoming the president of Ghana with some of his own names he cannot remember.
I could remember having my middle name written as my first name on a proof of address that I presented to the bank,and I was told to go back home to bring my passport or driving license instead.
After explaining that it was a mistake from the utility company they still won`t have none of it.
Akufo-Addo should come out to explain which names are on his birth certificate.
