  KABI NA ME NKA BI was not cited as the translation of the word "democracy" into Akan. It was cited as an attribute of democracy, not its definition. In the same way, "Dodoo Amanmmuo," cannot be an Akan translation of democracy. That should be the correct translation of "majority rule" which is, itself, an attribute of democracy, not its definition. You may have to find another conglomeration of Twi words to represent "democracy". That will be difficult. And there is no single word for "democracy" in Akan. Twi experts can attempt, by agreement, to coin a completely new word for that.
  
  
  For Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, "democracy" in his native Nigeria is "dem all crazy", "crazy demonstration", "demonstration of craze". He made this comment after observing the crazy elections in his country. Is his formulation not an appropriate depiction of what is going on in our own country?

For your kind information when you hear the TESCON of the NPP speak, take note of their motto - 'Commitment Without Inducement'. That is a Wereko-Brobbey coinage way back in 1995(!) when with some members of the Party they tried to bring up a pro-youth Patriotic Club!
  Wereko-Brobbey won then Asokwa East primaries twice in 1996, but the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP, Dr. Kwame Donkor Fordwuor for reasons bet known to him refused to submit Tarzan's name as the de jute candidate!! Ahoofe, there have a lot of injustices meted out to some people, but they prefer not to talk about them. Indeed, if you wish it there will be more anon...!!!
