From my vantage point watching the on-going case at the SC there's no doubt that of all the lawyers who have appeared so far Addison is the person to beat---he's quick on his feet,asks probing questions,his cross-examinations are superb etc.--he has all the qualities of a trial attorney ie.QC or Practicing lawyer--the guy is solid--he'll go a long way---his presence reminds me of lawyers like--Koi Larbi,Victor Owusu,Joe Appiah etc.--wish Addison all the best.

Every Sunday afternoon everyone in the neighborhood of Axim would meet at the nearby cross roads and country store to compare their weekend catches. Everyone had normal size fish except this one old farmer who had always brought in huge fish. The game warden heard about this and showed up one Sunday afternoon. After inspecting the old farmers fish, he turned to the farmer and said "If you don't show me your fishing spot , I'm going to have to close you down." The farmer replied by telling him to come out to the farm in the morning and he would take him fishing. The next morning the game warden shows up with his pole and the farmer tells him to climb onto the tractor. They head out into this big field until they come to a little pond. The warden is scratching his head because all he sees is a rotten old skiff, when he expected a large lake and something closer to a yacht. The farmer said to get in and they start rowing out to the middle. About this time the warden notices that there are no fishing poles. As he is about to say something, the farmer reaches into a box and pulls out a stick of dynamite, lights it and throws it into the pond. After the water and smoke settle, he paddles around picking up the fish. The warden's jaw is on the deck. He can't talk for a minute. When he finds his voice, he starts in on the farmer about how he can't believe what just happened and starts screaming to the farmer about all the regulations he has broken. NPP Bawumia gave the supreme court the file of the pink sheets and now Addison wants to be sure the supreme court, NDC Lawyers and NPP Lawyers are looking at one and the same file. Why would Atuguba allow them to have soft copies is beyond belief. It Atuguna and Tsatsi really want the trial to end faster the should give out the soft copy if they have nothing to hide. NPP Addison will be auditing what KPMG has already audited bse instead of questioning Gyan he will be reference to a pink sheet which Gyan and Tsatsi will not have knowledge about bse they dont a copy of the pink sheets in the petition.
Atuguba has tried to favour John Mahama but continue failing. How can you give something to somebody to have a look and when you ask to make copy that person says no, you not getting it. Why is he not wanting to give you something you gave him.

Tseneboa, if people can be summoned to the Supreme Court for talking nonsense about the case or the judges, there should another law which should allows the Supreme Court to call and commend others who write sensible comments like yours. I have already given advise to the NPP what to do. Those who aspire to be the next president and parliamentarians in 2016 should not sit down. They should start organizing and making their voices heard. Secondly ways should be found to remove all members of the party's communication team. They have given the NPP a certain bad and negative image which would make it difficult for the party to come back to life. They should go and seek advice from people like KWAME Mpaini whom they have insulted. KUFFOUR should not sit there and only pray that Nana fails to prove a point. He should call the saints in the party so that they discuss the ways forward. The good brains are part of the problem of the party. Instead of speaking their minds on issues and the court case and the behavior of the current officials and some supporters who have succeeded in bringing serious polarization in the country by insulting anybody who is not Akan, they have left things in the hands of Professor ASARE who is behaving like a SAITO product who,wants to waste another time sending a petition to the Chief Justice about freedom of useless speech. There is so much work to do. Look, there are millions of Ghanaians who dont give a damn about NPP or NDC. They vote when they like the atmosphere presented by a party. I mean the so called floating voters.The NPP has real men and women but why have they allowed the hypnosis of the current office holders to work on them so much. I know that many of them are waiting for the court case to end and the verdict is obvious to them. If that is the case then they should start seriously doing their home work. They should organize at every level. When the dust settles they should let KWEKU BAAKO and other spoilers go on pension and seek more decent journalists to make their cases for them. They should perhaps come out with a new newspaper and avoid the Statesman and others that have changed the image of the party and brought them down. We have three and a half years and that appears to be too,short for a party that is now in tatters. Let somebody insult me for this free advice. I know it is one of the ways out of,this mess. NPP and Addison didnt ask KPMG to audit the pink sheet, it was NDC lawyers who think the can rig and fiddle the pink sheets when KPMG have them. The Supreme Court registry was given other pink sheets by EC for KPMG, but instead of taking some of the pink sheets NPP petitioners presented, the registry missed the up. When Mosqueto was saying the NPP didnt file 11,000 pinks sheets, in his mind the sider in the supreme court did take the pink sheets NPP presented instead the insider added all the pinks sheets together.
Its Addison as a good Lawyer has to get the original copy from Supreme Court to be sure KPMG only audited those the petitioners gave to the Supreme Court.
The petition is not wasting time they want to prove the EC had it wrong by making John Mahama the president.
KPMG have their work more harder, they need they had only 11,000 plus pink sheets to audit and now they have to audit more than they were first told. NPP Addison is not complaining about how many pink sheets they are, he is afraid the pink sheets he presented wouldnt be among those audited. Thats why he need the original copy he gave to the supreme court. He wants to talk about his pink sheets not those added by EC.
Every Ghanaian should go back and read what Bawumia presented to the court as the petition and work from there.
EC Gyan agreed there were errors and think they are not many, its Addison who has to prove 1300 plus pink sheets had errors and that make Nana Addo the president.

It is quite clear that the writer wrote the article in ignorance. Whatever professional capacity in which you serve, you do not accept reports blindly. It is even more pertinent if you are an attorney representing a client. If you have read the KPMG report, you would find several points on which to cross-examine.

The whole audit came about because first the respondents claimed they have not received the full complement of exhibits. They later raised this to the level that they do not believe the petitioners filed the numbers they are claiming. The questions then before the court is whether or not the report has settled this question. It is instructive to tell you that the question has still not been settled because the court order did not ask the relevant question. A report which in itself requires further analysis and interpretation is not good in the circumstances confronting the court.

I will point out just two statements from the KPMG report that limits the use of the report without further analysis:

1) KPMG started the report by saying that their objective was to count the number of exhibits delivered to the Registry by the Petitioners. It ended the report by saying that it contains the the findings from counting the number of exhibits given to it by the Registry. KPMG included a disclaimer that they are not vouching for the completeness or accuracy of the exhibits given it by the Registry because there were remaining exhibits that they did not count because the Registrar said they were excess exhibits.

2) KPMG also said that they were not drawing any conclusions from the exercise they carried out. They were of the opinion that further analysis could be done to answer the questions that the parties were interested in but that was outside the court order.

So all that Addison was doing was to get KPMG to admit that the exhibits counted were not complete and that the question of how many unique pink sheets were filed has still not been answered. Further he got KPMG to admit that the Registry has mixed up the exhibits thus explaining why there are differences between the Registry, President of the Panel and the Respondents. If you did not understand this, then perhaps you must refrain from commenting on issues. At least stick to the side of the Respondents and leave the Petitioners to 'mess things up'.
