In fact during Thursday's proceeding in court one of the SC Judges reminded Phillip Addison that the witness (Dr. Afari Dyan) has already informed the court in previous question put to him on serial numbers on pinksheet that they (EC) did not generate those numbers but by a a machine somewhere and that they don't know how they were generated. And for which reason they disregarded its use as an identification tool. At this point, I thought Phillip Addison would have realized that he has lost the battle as far as the issue bothering those numbers he preferred to call numbers on the pink sheet go. But as arrogant as he is, he rubbished the advice by the bench and went on. What a waste of Ghanaians and GTV's time!

When you buy a computer, or a car the manufacturer stamps a serial number on the back of the laptop or on the engine of the car. This is a unique number with which the manufacturer will check for on their database if you contact them to report a fault. They check the serial number against their records before they repair your computer or car under warranty.

Now if another person contacts the manufacturer to report a fault on his car and the manufacturer asks for the serial number of the car or computer and the number is the same as the one you reported the manufacturer will suspect two people are reporting faults with same serial number for one warranty service. There will will be an investigation therefore which of the two claims is a fraud.

Now when God created you He gave you a serial number. It is called DNA and it is unique to you only. So when a crime is committed and the police arrest 10 people as suspects, a serial number (DNA) sample is taken using saliva. If the DNA serial number sample matches the serial number DNA sample on a piece of hair found on the scene of the crime Bingo! the criminal is identified out of the 10 suspects.
It is as simple as that.

The DNA of the pink sheets are the serial number which are unique to each pink sheet that holds the records of votes at each polling station. So if you have the same serial number on more than one pink sheet (duplicate, triplicate, etc) then there is ground for a fraud investigation.

For example: if the result at a polling station was Mahama 200 votes Akuffo Addo, 50 Nduom 0 and others 5 on a pink sheet with a serial number 001. If at a polling station you have 3 pink sheets with the same serial number 001 (triplicate in this case) then the result will be Mahama 600, Akuffo Addo 150 and others 15 Nduom 0.
So you can see here that something funny has happened in terms of numbers.

I think this is what Addison is trying to prove in the supreme court and that is why he is so hot on Afari Gyan. Now try to understand and dont make ignorant statements here on ghweb

In any case, the serial numbers in question here with regards to "pink sheets" are more like bank pay-in slips which can be used at ANY bank branch by anyone. I think this is a very tired argument which has been gone over many times.

It seems to me some people feel 'better' in themselves just for making the argument, but don't you think the judges themselves can figure out where the balance of argument and authenticity of the point lie?

By all means let's continue this debate in the court of public opinion but let us also allow them to do their job on this matter.

Mr Tsikata took about 13 days to cross-examine Bawumiah asking cogent and intelligent questions. Addison is seeking for an equalization, but he can't. The more days he spends on Afari Djan, the more he exposes himself of not being a legal luminary.Addison, you see, our elders say that it is better to receive the whip that is earmarked for you now than to receive it later. The fraudulent scheme using duplicates and triplicates at different polling stations is self proven and the judges can see that for themselves or not. It is not up to what you say here on Ghweb as illogical as it sounds.

The foundation for perpetuating the fraud is what Addison is hot on with Afari Gyana; the fact that Afari Gyana yesterday admitted using his and EC's own rules outside the law is aiding and abetting Addision's points. Read again what Fredsaid has written here. It makes logical sense in the grand scheme of this electoral fraud.

The argument that serial numbers embossed by the printers on the pink sheets does not matter can be accepted by fools only.My understanding is that even if it does not mean anything to the Ghanaian EC, the prrinters at least consider it very important and would not duplicate them, let alone to triplicate and quadruplicate them, unless instructed by the person who gave them the contract to do so. Therefore for him to start his (or is it her) article on that premise makes it nonsensical. He should give us a break
