While I side with the writer I wish to remind ourselves of the situation where an exiting President granted amnesty to criminals like Nana Konadu Agyemang, Abodakpi, Tsatsu Tsikata and others. During the trials of these persons we saw the support people gave them openly. Is it because Ken Kuranchie is a mere journalist and therefore doesn't deserve support? He will not be the last person to be hailed after being accused of wrong doing.

You got it right. A parliamentarian is caught in the US with a load of drugs and is imprisoned. The people in his constituency believe this is a party matter, just as everything else in Ghana is a party matter. And so there is a bye election to replace the convict. The people this time round vote overwhelmingly for the party of the convict because the party feels hurt because of the imprisonment. That is Ghana for you. We still have a long way to go towards civilization.

My friend, did you see the events on television? I saw the stupidity of Ken right from the start. He is a journalist, not a lawyer and yet he started behaving like one asking the judges funny questions. The contrast between him and the other accused person who went before him annoyed the honorable judges. He can have his sympathizers but I can assure you that he behaved liked a spoilt child. I was surprised that they gave him only ten days. Maybe that is why he thinks he is a hero. If he had worn that blue uniform for several months he would have learnt some sense.

This is the hard truth that every reasonable humam being would accept.A very good question which demands an honest answer,no matter how bitter it is.Kuranchie to me is just making a big clone Ass of himself.Like Mr Ndebugri said, heroes are no more needed in Ghana as regards the type of hero Kuranchie wants to be known.
Where is Gabby and the rest who were supporting and inciting this man to put up such things about the judges? I wonder if he has visited this guy when he was in prison. Why do we have to allow people to think for us? Don´t we have the right to think for ourselves? The truth is that, no single person, no matter his backgroud, can pretend to be fighting for a just course by incting and inviting chaos for this country because Ghanaians have in one accord, rejected Akufo Addo of becoming president of this country, and go scot-fre. Ghana is not for Akufo Addo. I pity those who are always prepare to die for such a character.Kuranchie can only be a hero for the npp but not to discerning and reasonable Ghanaians. After all, Ken Agyapong who has called for the killing of Ewes are Gas,and who has been set free by NPP judges is hailed as a hero. Why not Kuranchie who dare the court?

I dont think that Ghanaians in one accord have rejected Akuffo Addo. Look, with all the revelations coming out of the SC and the many clear concesions of Afari Djan one could only be an NDC sympathizer for making such a statement.
i PITY SOME Ghanaians and the way they make judgements. For me this SC petition hearing is the best thing any well meaning Ghanaians should applaud. For how can a whole nation spend time and money to conduct elections in a country for any person or group of persons subvert in favour of their one candidate. Is it out hatred for Akuffo Addo or favour for JDM?
As a country, we cannot continue wasting our time and money to procure elections and end up not getting the verdict the represent the will of the people. If we are not careful a time will come when every election would be rigged depending on who is able to outsmart the other, and this definitely is not good for our democracy.
I do not necessarily want Akuffo Addo to be prez of the Ghana, but I can assure you that whatever the outcome of theis election petition, subsequent Ghana's elections will never be the same.
Kudos to those who decided to go to court!!!!
