haven't read Mr Bombande's comment, but if indeed he disputed Ps Otabil's call for prayers for the nation from his congregants and Mr Bombande have an issue with it, then it's unfortunate. Because honestly, where lies his faith and on what grounds, believe or stand point is he (Mr Bombande) propagating his "peace building"????

Sayibu and those who think like him are unfortunately or deliberately naive not see that this is not spiritual. Coming from a pastor who double as a businessman in education and real estate and triples as a politician, just read between the lines and you will see clearly the unspiritual nature of his call for prayers. Goodness me, are you following Ghanaian politics and the role of certain politicians disguised as pastors!

I admire your wisdom, God bless u, tell this big mouthed so called peace builders to shut up, we do not even trust them anymore. Look at pain in africa, wars all over, seen and unseen, and yet to spring up.

Thanks Akilu, I also have a lot of problem with those criticizing Pastor Otabil. One pastor talked about fire outbreaks on December 31 and it is still going on despite bringing in American fire experts.

If Mensah Otabil can say he senses premonition, why can't another person say the opposite? All these people are not God. Everyone has a different opinion of a situation.

Brother Akilu, peace. You are a very intelligent person, concerned for your country as it comes through your write ups. Prayers do not bring food, clothing, education, health, technology, end corruption etc. Prayers do not make the elite of the NPP/NDC wake up to the dangers facing Ghana. Prayers do not bring electricity which God has also provided for those who think and act through the SUN-SOLAR and the dams waiting to be construction for example Daboya (44KW).
If prayers worked, the great Kingdom Dagbon founded more than 300 years before Ashanti would not be in abject poverty lacking any semblance of good leadership. Hard work, organization, focused leadership such as we had under Nkrumah, we had in the first year of Kufour, first year of Colonel Kutu Acheampong and an educated people that develops the nation.
Otabil is a politician in God's clothing, so are a number of the consultants on peace and security. Their work is similar to Western governments who preach human rights without economic rights. No country has developed through prayers, Africans wake up!

Hi Akilu Sayibu. What happened to your piece on the counting of the pink sheets?. Please go back and read the piece and donot take advantage of the fact that Ghanaians have short memory and do not take people for their past statements. When a source stated that the NPP had no case, we all saw what the likes of you did. Interestingly, when the same source opined a re-run of the election we , again, saw what the likes of you did. Ask pastor Otabil what his stand on FREE EDUCATION IN GHANA and save us from this panick mode. Thanks
