  education is what is needed to eradicate these beliefs. Isolating these victims reinforce the stigmatization which is society s working so hard to avoid. Instead of having a separate settlement for these victims the perpetrators should be punished to create the awareness that such myths are unacceptable in our society. This way those throwing the stones will stop and think hard before taking these atrocious actions against poor innocent women. I do not think that a well educated elderly lady who has financial means will ever be considered a witch. Perpetrators are preying on poor women alone.
