Supreme Court Justices to spark civil war by ruling in favor of NDC ignoring a fact like 241,000 foreign votes credited to the NDC president to win by a margin of 300,000 over NPP presidential candidate Nana Addo. The total for foreign votes was 800 (eight hundred) but it came out as 241,000 for NDC.
This is only one instance of vote padding. Add the massive electoral fraud in Volta Region where possibly as many as the mid hundreds of thousands of votes got tucked into the NDC president’s tally combined with the torching of the IT section of the EC to destroy all evidence of fraud in the 2012 elections and the sum total is war.
There will be civil war dubbed “The 241,000 Civil War of Ghana 2013”
WARNING TO THE SECURITY FORCES
They cannot use muscle flexing to cow the will of the majority. Their role is to protect from outside invasion and not to turn the gun on the opposition political party fighting for justice and truth. They have short memory of Tema where they were pummeled by unarmed youths. Worst things await them.
They are very vulnerable only they don’t know and should desist from their intimidation tactics.
Burn, barracks, burn! This is by far the easiest way to defeat the evil uniformed personnel in Ghana.
If innocent marchers are shot there will be consequences. All barracks in the country will be torched and they will have nowhere to go but be corralled. That is when the retaliation will begin.
Then again this is war and can escalate when outside forces join in to crush the Gestapo forces in Ghana, if there is loss of civilian lives. Like in Libya where the army was pounded from the air into submission.

How can what Pastor Otabil saying (“I have a sense of heaviness in my spirit concerning the destiny of this country that there is something heavy ready to fall upon this country; that if we don’t take charge of that, we will be in a different state a month from now.”) be twisted to mean 'Scaring SC Justices to rule in favour of NPP'. This is nothing but maadness. You have demonstrated extreme hatredness for the Pastor for nothing. What is even annoying and insulting to Ghanaians is you saying that 'Many pastors in Ghana treat the NDC with disdain but one thing they have never learnt is that the God of the NDC keeps shining His light on the party in all adversities that is why the NDC keeps soldiering on.'

If his prophesy is shrouded in double speak and lacking clarity, why should anyone not concluded with certainty that he is commenting on the election petition.

What is the heavy thing that is ready to fall upon this country? Do you need to be a so called man of God to spew out such nonsensical statements?

Let me tell you I know for sure that NDC supporters will not be happy should the verdict go against them so is NPP supporters. If it were not for the contempt of court charges that the Supreme Court judges have been serious about there would have been so much noise made about the verdict. So the NDC writers and commentators are doing everything to vent their frustrations on any scapegoat. Pastor Mensah Otabil is not a criminal but an example of genuine success in Ghana today. There are only a few of his kind in Ghana today. The real criminals are those who willfully committed election irregularities, and only time will tell. Do not spew your frustrations on this innocent preacher.

I have read several articles which depict that the writer who goes by the name Margaret Jackson is not real. There is a school of thought which even states that the writer is a male and a paid writer for NDC cause.

I am so surprised that some people who are cast in the thinking mold of this writer have written or spoken very sour about Pastor Mensah Otabil who is a full blood Ghanaian with the rights and the privileges like any other Ghanaian has.

Pastor Mensah Otabil shared his personal feelings with his congregation and led them to pray for
the prosperity of the nation, even against the bad feelings he felt. Nobody has commented on the prayers he said for Ghana. If people like this writer are sincere themselves they would have been balanced in their reportage to the public. By holding on to only side of what he said and castigating him for it unnecessarily is way beyond sound mind.

The question is who is really fanning the fire or beating the drums for war in Ghana now? Is it Pastor Mensah Otabil or writers and commentators like this writer? Psychologically their reactions to whatever anybody says which is perceived to be anti-NDC is a fact which depicts that if people like Pastor Mensah Otabil do not pray Ghana could experience civil war to a certain degree.

I would like to urge people like this writer to show decorum and respect to people like Pastor Mensah Otabil whose only crime this writer described is to be the president of that or the chairman of this or living in a nice house. When did that become a crime? This man has not been in politics to amass wealth overnight. Nobody can accuse him of embezzling funds belong to the church or the public. He has people like Professor Yankah identifying with his cause. Do not crucify such a very successful and perfect example of genuine success. I wish next time this writer will tell the world something positive about himself.

This is a very disgraceful piece by the writer. I fail to see what her beef is. From what Pastor Otabil said, you will think there is only one interpretation. If the pastor said he senses a heaviness in his heart and enjoins all to pray for the land, how could this writer immediately conclude that the pastor meant an over-turning of the result of the election? Could it not be a retention of the status quo causing the aggrieved, here the petitioners, attempting something terrible in which case we should all pray to avert it? Why does the writer imply the result of the hearing will be a reversal of the EC declaration of the winner in December? And if that is the outcome, would the NDC leadership claim it is an Otabil-inspired plot rather than the result of the evidence as presented in open court? One can only conclude the paranoia afflicting the NDC over their ill-gotten power and the fear of it being wrestled from their hands.
