  Mr Ponko a DCE position is a political patronage position not a management job. The president should appoint someone who has the political skills to manage the political divide. Sure NDC has many such people in their ranks. Forcing an appointee on people is a formula for political disaster for the NDC. Mahama and NDC show political maturity. Not all skirmishes are worth fighting. Don't waste your political bullets just to exhibit power. It will come at a cost.
  
  All DCEs who do not have their constituents support should be given other jobs
